I bought this to use on my bamboo wood floors and my tile floors. I cannot believe how simple it is to use! No more pushing and pulling with my arm, making it sore and everything can be done in one easy step. The cleaner only takes a cat full and really cleans! You won’t believe after you use it the first time how dirt your floors were no matter how much you always mopped. I love it.
It cleans well, but the container that holds the clean water and cleaning solution doesn’t completely empty and is impossible to air dry. It got mold in it after only a few uses and can’t be removed as it’s inside the plastic where the nozzle is.

Poorly built, have had to send back twice so far.
When its not broken, it does a good job cleaning. There are known issues with a motor failure on these. Keep the box handy to ship it back for warranty repair. Expect to spend several hours jumping through hoops with customer service every time you send it back. The first repair we had done they fixed the motor but broke the charging system so we only got one use before having to send it back again. At least they have a good warranty period on these.

Stopped working after less than 3 years
I LOVED this wet/dry vac. All of a sudden about a month ago it wouldn’t charge unless I kept lifting and placing the vac on the charger over and over until it got to about 5%, then it would charge to 100% but then immediately die when I’d try to use it. I’ve tried to get it to work as normal for the last month but finally realizing it’s time to toss it. Considering how much money it costs, this is incredibly disappointing. I’ll be replacing it with a different brand.

Faulty Product Unable to Repair
Purchased this hardwood floor cleaner from Amazon around 2 years ago and used it lightly in my house on hardwood surfaces following the instructions closely. Unfortunately the motor randomly stopped working and the product became completely unusable. Contacted tineco CS and was informed that since the product was just past the 2 year warranty, they would be unable to offer any solutions and since this product model was updated, they do not offer any repair solutions as well. I was quite disappointed since tineco acknowledged that the problem was a motor issue however were unable to offer any help due to the strict 2 year warranty aside from suggesting I purchase a new vacuum directly from them or a refurbished one on ebay. Overall the process was quite frustrating and I do not recommend purchasing this product. I have read other customer reviews that stated they experienced the same issue as well with the motor while I was researching solutions. I even offered to ship the vacuum back to tineco for a discount on a new one but instead now have a completely unusable vacuum sitting in my house. Highly disappointed.

After two about two years and a handful of uses it becomes a door stop
Had our flooring replaced and wanted to get it clean before bringing furniture in. The Teneco worked for awhile then stoped . It would not recharge, cleaned the contacts, tried a different outlet. It’s says charging but stops under ten seconds. I do recall buying this thru Amizon, just not sure how long ago. ModelIPX4.

Doesn’t Replace a Mop
Its great for spills or any liquid mess on the floor, but it doesn’t actually replace the cleaning that mopping does. Even dried spots take 4-5 passes to clean up. I don’t recommend this product unless you have cash to spare for something dedicated to only liquid messes.

Save your money
I had this for less than a year when it would say I needed to do a self clean even though I did this after every use. I contacted the company and they wanted me to ship it to be fixed. One day it stopped and worked again. 16 months later the motor has gone and it is back to the issues I was having before saying it needs a self clean staying lit red. I will send it to Tineco to be repaired. Mostly annoyed that I have to pay for the box and wrapping material to ship it. Too expensive to deal with these issues. Save your money and go with a cheaper option.

Not built to last
The tineco mop is extremely convenient and fun to use but as time passes I found myself going back to my regular mop more and more. I went from using it to mop my whole house to just spot cleaning up messes. I have owned it for a year and 3 months and all of a sudden the motor gave out. Constantly breaks down
The media could not be loaded. I have owned my machine for just over a year, it has had to be sent in for warranty work twice already, the turn around time is 2-3 weeks. It has now broke down again, won’t charge and constantly says to contact customer service. I spoke with them today and was told they were going to replace the machine completely. A few hours later I received another email stating they would not replace it but I could send it in for repairs again. I have attached the video that shows the errors. I really love the ease of cleaning my floors, however, a lot of people are having issues with the battery not charging. I am one of them! It charges for 10 seconds and stops. I have to keep taking it on and off the charger and charge it little by little…..in 10 second intervals!

I ordered this just over a year ago, and it’s breaking down and there’s no warranty on Amazon, and if you call tineco and ask them for help, they don’t warranty it either. They’d like to charge me almost $100 to have it checked to see if it’s repairable and if it’s not repairable they will scrap it for me. So I paid $400 for this, they want another hundred to see if it’s repairable, and they still might throw it away. Very disappointing. Don’t recommend buying something this expensive that can break down this quickly that can’t be covered even if you use it according to the manufacturer directions.

It’s good
It is a good vac-mop that I brought for my mother. It didn’t scratch or damage my hard wood floors and it is relatively easy to use. It’s light weight and easy to clean. The capacity of water and dirty water storage is a bit small. You have to empty it multiple times if you want to do a few rooms at once. After about 5 or 6 uses though the first one I got started smoking and it would automatically turn off a few seconds after starting it. After telling the company. They were quick to resolve the problem and sent me a new one. I would much rather buy this than spend a lot more money on a machine that does the exact same thing. It’s worth the money.

Buy any other brand
Steer clear of Tineco. The mop was fine, worked almost as well as the other brands, but stopped holding a charge after a year and some change. Now we’re nearing 2 years and it completely stopped charging and as a result, is totally useless. Called the company because there’s a ridiculous sticker on the back saying DO NOT RETURN TO SELLER. CALL US FIRST. (should’ve known that was a red flag). I called, explained my situation. They said I could ship it to them, they’ll take it apart and try to repair it, and if it worked, they’d send it back. If not, I’d be out a mop, because it would be taken apart into pieces. I literally laughed and said that couldn’t be real. She said “this is why we explain sending it to us is a risk”. They denied a refund, and after arguing offered to send a refurbished one if mine was unable to be repaired. I asked if the refurbished one would be usable when it got here, and if there was anything I could do if it wasn’t. The phone was silent and they said “No. Sorry”. I called Amazon for support and they essentially said I should be grateful it worked for as long as it did. Both companies leaving me completely in the dark with an unusable mop. I could’ve bought a brand new swiffer 15 times in the last 2 years and STILL spent less than I did on this mop. And if you’re wanting what review to trust, trust the one that took the time to come back 2 years later. Had I written this the week I got it, when it was fresh out of the box and on its first charge, I would’ve had pretty okay things to say too. Good luck in your mop venture.

I wouldn’t trade my Tineco for anything. I love it. Easy to use. Easy to clean too. Best, after you empty the dirty water out of the container and rinse it out, you set it on the stand and magic. This machine decides if you need the brushes cleaned. If yes, the machine does that too. I was so happy with the cleaner that my daughter bought me the stick for vacuuming. love it too. Being 82, I have had all kinds of vacuums and cleaners. The Tineco’s I have now are by far the best I have ever used.

The assembly was so easy, a child can do it, so no complaints there. I sweep and mop a lot during the week so when I got this I decided to sweep and mop again. Well what a surprise my floors were not as clean as they looked. So now I need to keep this for maintenance cuz mentally I can’t ever think a water tank will come back that dirty ever again. But also the cleaning of the filter and the tank wasn’t fun because it really does pick up any and everything you may have thought you did pre clean 🤦🏽♀️. Listen to most of the reviews this is a need in my home now.

Manufacturer does not stand behind product
I bought this floor cleaner in November 2021 and it recently quit working because it does not recognize being on the charger. I called the manufacturer to find out if there was someone who could fix it here in the Denver Metro area. I was told it can no longer be fixed because they no longer manufacture replacement parts. They told me I have to buy a new one and they would give me $107 toward a new one. Why would I buy another one that only less about 2 1/2 years. I would have thought that a machine that cost $400 would last longer than 2 1/2 years. My recommendation is don’t buy this machine or this brand since they don’t stand behind their product.

So much work to upkeep and clean
I spend more time cleaning the machine and up keeping it with replacement parts than I would just using a regular mop. Constantly clogs. It is quite gross to clean out. Battery does not last long enough to complete the house. I would not buy again. A regular mop and broom works so much better. Also leaves a horrible smell even if the roller is not cleaned even one time. So much effort to make this thing work with out leaving a mess behind. Worked well for about a month then it became more of a hardship than was worth it. A complete waste of money. Going to buy a new mop instead.

I would not recommend it
I like cordless vacuums, so we went with this vacuum/ mop, and battery lasted till the 11 month, contacted company, they said to fill out form and send in a video of the problem. I sent them a video, but company never returned a response. I’ll just move on and get a Bissell or a Shark.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review to make sure it lived up to all the hype. Well, it does! This thing has been amazing for our two large dogs and two kids! I love that it cuts cleaning time in half and it’s so easy to use. I use it almost daily in the kitchen and entryway and halls. Not Worth The Money
I have had this vacuum for over a year and since the first use I have had issues. The sensor constantly says there is some kind of issue with a full dirty water tank or the clean roller brush. Mind you everything is empty and clean. I had called in and sent it to get it fixed but it still causes problems. Most of the time an abundance of water with soap rolls out when it is in use. It does not suck up the dirt very well. I purchased the Bissell Pet Pro instead for myself and my mom and it is way better than this item. DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM.

This was such an amazing wet vac mop, but at $300 I expected it to work for more than TWO years! This broke just a couple of months after the product support expired. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I’ve tried everything to fix this and the company won’t help me because my support window “expired”. Find a different type of wet vac mop.

Misleading ad but good product
I had two of these but sent back this one due to apparent pre use. However to rate the product I can tell you that we have used the s3 a great deal after remodeling and installing hard flooring in lower level and upper. Keeping one down stairs has been great works with ease. Does excellent job leaving only a slightly damp floor behind drying in a few minutes. We will be getting second unit.

It didn’t clean the floors as expected
Floors were not as clean as I expected and the suction kept clogging up. After cleaning you have to take everything apart and clean all the accessories. I was not happy with this product.

Poor customer service and device
These machines are break until they stop working and then you’re giving a refurbished replacement that also stops working but surprised now you’re out of your warranty timeframe and they will no longer do anything for you. Not to mention the model that you had is no longer being made because it sucks that bad And yet they want to give me a 20% discount so I can spend even more money to have another machine, not working in the future.

This product works AMAZING. I’m so glad I splurged and purchased this. It cleans my whole house floors in one battery charge, I haven’t had it run out while i’m using it yet. I do clean it religiously after i’m done to make sure no bacteria or mold grows. I store it properly and use the right products for cleaning solution and it has yet to fail me. Great product, and I’m so happy that I finally purchased this.

Used this device 5 times and it will no longer take a charge. I contacted Tineco support and they no longer support this model. I asked for an updated replacement model but they want to offer me a prorated refund??

Burns out after 3 years- terrible customer service
Don’t buy. You’ll get good use of this machine for a year or two. I bought the machine in 2021 and used it maybe 3 times a month. Last week I went to use it and the machine told me to restart or call customer service. I called customer service and they told me that code meant the motor had burned out and there was nothing they can do about it since I was past the 2 year warranty- the only warranty they provide. They told me I can try to find a new motor to buy as they don’t have any they can send me. Absolutely ridiculous for a $400+ machine. Don’t waste your time.

I have enjoyed my floor washer for the short amount of time it has worked. Yesterday I took it off the charger and nothing! It has just stopped charging so, I called Tineco and was told that they are unable to repair it because they no longer have the parts! I expected more from the product. ! I’ve taken excellent care of my machine. Its just me and my husband, we have a smaller home so it doesn’t get a lot of use. $400 might not be a lot of money to some people but we are retired and on a fixed income. The representative said that if I bought a new one(prices range from approx $500-1000) I could possibly get a 10% possible 20% refund. Why would I buy another one of these when the representative said that they last on average of 3-5 years! They should be required to state this information!

Only good for small areas water tank run out in under 10 minutes if you don’t take it apart every time use it it smells horrible when you use the next. Only able to use their cleaning solution is a rip off. Would not buy!

Worked only a few months
This machine worked like a champ for a few months. Then it started shutting off after a few seconds even on a full charge. I had it sent back to Tineco only for them to send it right back with the same issue. I don’t think they even looked at it. I reached out to Tineco again only for them to offer me a refurbished machine without a warranty because they said it was old. It was 9 mos old and only used for less than 5 mos. I spent 4 months going back and forth with them attempting to fix this one. I would not recommend this machine. Save your money and buy something else.

If you are a parent, pet owner or someone who hates moping – BUY THIS!!! I’m a mom of two under two and I have a Newfoundland. I HATE mopping. I’m a pretty clean person but moping is my absolute least favorite cleaning chore and our entire main level is tile. Not going to lie, I had to scrape some gunk off my floors that had been stuck on for a while but otherwise this mop vac cleaned my floors like it’s never been cleaned before!! I wanted to address some of the complaints I saw in other reviews: 1. Refilling the clean tank – I do usually refill the clean take half way through but, again, my entire main level is tile so it’s a big area. You only need to use one cap full of the cleaner and the rest is water. Two bottles of cleaner come with the product, which is super nice! Someone else made a great point – if you want a bigger tank, get the bigger option. 2. Cleaning the mop vac – yeah, you need to dump the dirty container and clean the parts. You have to do the same for a vacuum and regular mop. This is super easy to clean. You dump the dirty contents into the toilet and rinse the canister. The roller is super easy to remove. Rinse it and let it dry. It takes less than a day to dry but you get two in the box so I just swap my roller daily. If you plan to mop more than once a day, buy more rollers. Then wipe down the space where you took the roller off and clean out any hair (it can get stuck between the roller and the dirty container). Pop everything back in place and boom, clean in two minutes. 3. Charge – I let it charge fully and I haven’t had any issues with it dying mid cleaning. Ultimately this gave me freedom from a chore I hate and made it so I don’t have to worry about dirty floors. My babies can play in the mud and come inside and I know it will be cleaned up in no time. Do yourself a favor and buy a mop vac!

Love this little machine! I rely on honest reviews when purchasing products. That being said I feel it necessary to give feedback to others. First of all it works. As others have stated you will be amazed when you see how dirty the water is when emptying. It is lightweight and very easy to maneuver. When you turn it on and the roller starts moving it’s almost self propelling and just goes. I have back issues and sweeping alone is a chore. This was easier on my back than sweeping and being able to combine the sweeping and mopping total game changer. The suction is great. We have 3 dogs and a cat and it picked up all the hair with no issues. The battery life is decent. We have approximately 1800 sq ft of area that it is used on. After the first deep clean which took a few recharges and quite a few refills, the weekly runs are now much quicker. I am able to get through with 2 or 3 refills and one charge ( about 20 mins). The only slight downfall is having to hold down the mop (water) button while using. Since the majority of our floors I use the mop feature, holding down the button is a bit inconvenient. This may be different on more expensive models. It does make the transition from mopping to vacuuming simple by just releasing the wet button, but inconvenient when the majority of use is mopping. Not a deterrent, just a slight inconvenience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
