I bought this to use on my bamboo wood floors and my tile floors. I cannot believe how simple it is to use! No more pushing and pulling with my arm, making it sore and everything can be done in one easy step. The cleaner only takes a cat full and really cleans! You won’t believe after you use it the first time how dirt your floors were no matter how much you always mopped. I love it.
It cleans well, but the container that holds the clean water and cleaning solution doesn’t completely empty and is impossible to air dry. It got mold in it after only a few uses and can’t be removed as it’s inside the plastic where the nozzle is.

I have had it for about 3 years when it died. The machine kept telling me to clean out the debris so I went through the entire machine cleaning everything. Watched videos on youtube and reviewed the manufacturer site to make sure I did not miss anything. After multiple tries to get it fully clean it self I noticed the water that cleans the roller was starting to pool. That’s when I realized it had lost it’s suction. I checked to make sure the hose that the water is sucked up through wasn’t cracked and it was fine. So it appears to be the actual vacuum motor that stopped working. I have read forums and watched videos that indicate the main motor between the fresh water and dirty tank is not protected thus moisture enters when using and the motors rusts thus seizes up. The little motors in the vacuum head don’t have the issues just the big one that is expensive and hard to replace.

This device is great while it works. Mine worked fine for 2 years exactly then it had an issue where it would not suck the water up. I contacted customer service per the device instructions and was told they know it’s a motor issue but I’m past my 2years so there’s nothing they will do. They offered 20% off another $400 cleaner! This is a convenient way to clean your floors. However, the solution that comes with it is not a cleanser. It is not antibacterial or anti-microbial. Because of that, it constantly becomes moldy on the brush and inside the mechanism. Even when running the self cleaning cycle and being diligent about, emptying the waste water after each use. I followed all the directions. Very disappointed. They need to have a solution that is a sanitizer. It also leaves the floors wet. Do not expect this to leave dry floors.

This does a mild cleaning job akin to a rolling sponge with a vacuum. It does not reach grout in tile flours sadly. No scrubbing bristles just a soft microfiber sponge roller. As a cordless vacuum worthwhile, water chamber fills quickly and clean water empties too soon. easy to clean. Small cleaning tank, large disposal tank. if you don’t dump it constantly once the dirty water reaches max, it flushes out water back on the floor and creates a mess rather than cleaning. Not easy to do the corners. Only works in 45 degree angle. If you want to do it higher it stops working. If you try to do under the sofa or bed it thinks there’s a blockage and flashes red light. A bit on the heavier side. Not for me. After dumping the water check inside the machine for dust particles. If you don’t clean it, it smells funny.

Stopped working after 2 years
I loved this mop when I first got it! Unfortunately right at the 2 year mark it began to not suck up water from the floor. And the self cleaning mode would not soak up water either. It’s really disappointing, I contacted Tineco Customer service and they won’t do anything bc I’m out of the warranty window. I absolutely love this. If you have hard floors, you need this. I’m not saying this particular model, but a wet vac – you NEED it. It’s made mopping such a simple task that I do it almost daily now. I never clean things off the floor anymore – I just use this. What I don’t like about this model is the low battery life. Now that I use it all the time, it never matters for me anymore. When I first got it, it died before I was done and had to wait several HOURS before it was fully charged again. I wish it had a larger clean solution tank, and a larger waste tank. These are my complaints but for the price and being a basic model, completely worth the money. I joke with my husband that I can’t wait for this to break so I can get a better higher tech model 🤣 I use to use a shark steam mop on my hard floors…this wet vac has made my floors NOTICEABLY cleaner from the feeling on my bare feet and with socks on… Biggest complaint – does not do edges so you will have a good inch or more against walls/cabinets whatever you have where the vac doesn’t get. This plays into models you’re looking at. When I get another, I will DEFINITELY pay the extra for the edge cleaning ability. Hopefully you get a wet vac and that this helps you decide the best option for you 😊

I paid 400.00 for this machine after a year of using once or twice a week it gave me issues. It would not work and would say shutting down please contact customer service. After emailing the company it took several emails back and forth and the machine had to be boxed up and sent in for repair. After several weeks I received my machine back. I was out of town for several months so upon returning home I began using my machine. I noticed a lot of water left on the floor. This continued for several weeks. As the machine was sitting not turned on I noticed water running down the machine and a puddle of water running from under the machine. I realized the clean water tank was leaking. I contacted customer service again. Several weeks and several emails back and forth, they told me they would send me a new clean water tank. Weeks went by and nothing. I contacted them again and I received a return label instead. I contacted them again and they said I had to send the machine in for repair. I again sent it in for repair. I waited over a month and heard nothing from them and received no machine back. I contacted them to see where my machine was. Their response was the machine could not be fixed and they scrapped it! They did not have permission to scrap it! They are willing to refund me 108.00 of the 400.00 purchase price for depreciation! I have no machine and out 400.00. This is not acceptable warranty coverage! I got 1 year out of a 400.00 machine that had a two year warranty. I do not recommend anyone to buy any of their machines, they do nothing for you if they stop working! I am going to let everyone know how they do business within this company!

2nd unit bought! And they always break
I can’t recommend anyone to buy one of these. It’s the second one I’ve bought, mainly because I do like how it cleans. Unfortunately, just like my first purchase, this one stoped working within less than a year. Then you have to go through several emails with customer service to get help, the most annoying this is after they request a video of the unit malfunctioning they then want you to find a box and ship the vacuum back to them before they can send you a replacement. This to me is unacceptable, as one shouldn’t even be going through this in the first place. These units are not properly made, if you search YouTube you’ll find countless videos people have made of the units giving error messages and malfunctioning and for the price they sell them at this really should not be happening.

I LOVE this so much… everyone should have one!!! This actually gets the dirt off the floor & sucks it up into a dirty water tank. Makes so much more sense than a mop that’s just pushing around dirty water anywhere…. I feel like I could use way more often than I have been. Not so great with dog hair
I love this vacuum mop but my biggest problem is it leaks. And if the dirty water tank gets water in it which it has to it will bubble out of the bottom of the tank. It’s great does its job but still has a few kinks also not great with a heavy trafficked dog home I vacuum and sweep before I use it because if it gathers dog hair it will bubble.

Awful battery
When I first received my Tineco I was beyond pleased with its performance. It does an amazing job at cleaning. However for the cost I would expect more longevity. It’s less than 2 years old and the battery won’t charge. A new battery would cost $80 dollars or so but being internal it requires taking apart the machine in order to change it. I wish they made the machine with an external battery.

Best decision ever. Cleaning was never easier. You can use TINECO iFloor on every surface!
The media could not be loaded. Great cleaning tool for almost every surface. We use it on stone and oiled Oak Parkett. The setup was super easy, it just took a minute and then we started cleaning. The result was amazing. They recommend to add some special products to the fresh water tank, but we just use „ever spring“ with Lavendel scent. Just be aware that you should not use highly foamy products. You do not want to see foam on the floor. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The cleaning aftermath (Filter and water tank) needs some routine, but I get used to it fast. Dirty water should end up in the toilet or outside, but not in the sink. When you’re done with cleaning, I recommend to empty the dirty water, otherwise it starts smelling really bad. I use the self clean program and then I clean all the pieces. I hope my review helps somehow!

Don’t waste your money
I wanted to love this vacuum mop but there are many issues 1)does not get into corners leaving all the edges around islands and walls dirty. 2) the mop smells horribly, I clean it everyday but no matter what I do it smells musty. 3) it doesn’t hold charge long to clean the whole house. Known Error with Dirty Water Tank
There is a known malfunction in this unit where the dirty water tank sensor comes on and the vacuum will not suction the water up. Since this is a “old” model they want you to purchase a new one. Maybe used this device 15 times before it sat gathering dust for a while. Now it doesn’t work and customer care can offer me 10% off a new device. No thanks, lost confidence in your expensive product.

Product worked fine, great option to clean up spills quickly but would not recommend as a replacement for traditional floor mopping for cleaning. The issue is that when it inevitably stops accepting a charge, you’ll be left in a lurch. You can’t easily replace the battery and Tineco customer service will offer a refund of only partial credit when they can’t repair it. If you’re ok with a unit that only lasts a year or two, then go for it. Don’t bother sending back to Tineco for warranty repair as you’d be better off replacing the battery yourself with an aftermarket option than excepting their low ball “depreciation refund” after going through the hassle of navigating their glitchy website and packing it up for shipping to return to them.

I have had my tineco S3 cleaning mop for 2 years and 2 months. The first year, it worked great. After that no matter how many times I deep clean the machine it leaves a dirty water residue and streaks on my floors. Also does not suction as powerful as it used to and is leaving puddles of water whenever it is used. The self cleaning feature does not do much, Atleast once every two weeks I need to deep clean the machine and pull out debris stuck in the chamber. It is time consuming and very disappointing given this machine is supposed to make cleaning quicker.

I was a fan, but….
I was a fan for a long time, and when the machine works it is great! However, when a problem arises (as it did with out machine), it appears it is impossible to get it fixed. I have had two of these for approx 2-3 years. The plastic tubing in the bottom of the machine, has become brittle and broke so there is water leaking all over the floor – don’t get me wrong the tubing giving out at some point, should be expected, but the fact that there is no replacement part available and no way to contact anyone is inexcusable in my opinion. At this price point, I expected better. Btw, I used my machines approx. 1-2 times per week (so not terribly heavy use), on LVP flooring.

Product won’t charge
Though the product does a good job, however, if you ever let it run out of battery, it won’t recharge, which in and of itself is a problem with manufacturing. Though my warranty is still valid, they are refusing to send me a new one. With a little research it seems like the almost anyone who let the battery run low, is having the same issue. Once we called the manufacturer, they cooperated to fix the problem, though sent a series of instructions in how to send it back, after not only taking the machine apart, but making sure the proper parts are included and they made absolutely sure to let us know that they are not responsible if the product is damaged because of packing or delivery. For a $400 product, this seems like an issue i don’t need to deal with. Other brands sell the same concept machines, get those.

Absolutely loved it..BUT..was not pleased when the battery quit
I was absolutely pleased with how this performed, did an amazing job! My one star is concerning the battery, I had only used it just a few months and I barely used it at that during that time and the battery quit. The same thing happened to my niece. She called the company only to find out you have to box it up yourself and send it back and they will send you a replacement to which hers was a used one. She told me when she opened it that the roller had dog hair all over it and had been previously used. This is the part that really disappoints me. I now have a great performing machine that I cannot use.

Motor dies
I was in love with this! One day I went to do the cleaning cycle and it said call customer support. Apparently there’s an issue with the motor and they cannot repair it because they discontinued the motor and parts for it. The only thing they could do was offer me a discount on a newer model. I understand things happen to for how expensive these are and how diligent we are about keeping it clean, I would have expected it to last much longer.

super disappointed
I’ve only had this for 4 months and it randomly started catching smoke, smelling like burnt, and stopped working. Worked fine for like 2 months. definitely not a good investment!

Esta aspiradora de verdad que es lo máximo, a mi me encantó demasiado… pero la compré en junio y ya se me dañó la bateria… no ha pasado ni un año, llamé al soporte y me devolverán un porcentaje del dinero ya que donde vivo no hay soporte de la aspiradora… Es una excelente opción , pero si he leído que sufren mucho con la batería..

Awesome mop and vacuum!
The media could not be loaded. We have three dogs and a little one crawling around and needed a better solution to keeping our floors clean often. It is SO quick to do, you do have to empty the dirty water pitcher but it’s so easy. It came one week before we had to take out a deck to get a new patio and it has been an absolute life saver with all the muddy paw prints. Can’t recommend it enough!

Love this machine!
I succumbed to the viral online videos and bought this machine. I have tile floors that get heavy traffic and this is a dream come true. However, if you plan on using this around a cat litter box with clumping litter, best to use your regular vacuum first as the clumping litter, well, clumps and gets sticky with the addition of water. Otherwise, I love this machine and may consider upgrading to the self cleaning model. This has made cleaning fun and relatively easy. The cleaning solution that comes with it has a nice fragrance and really cleans well. Definitely worth it!

Cleans great but not worth it in the end
This review will probably get buried among all the others but if you find this, random person, just know that this is an unbiased review. This machine gets your floors clean. And that’s about the only pro to it. Here are the cons: -Yes, you really do have to take it apart and clean each piece after every use. -After you take it apart, the pieces do not snap back into place easily. It’s very frustrating to put back together. To this day I cannot put the cover on the roller. The whole thing is just cheap pieces of plastic. -The water tank if very small, I don’t even have that big of a kitchen and I cannot clean my floor in one go. Usually have to refill 2.5 times. -The tank where the dirty water goes is double the size but if you run out of water the machine starts making a high pitch noise and leaks out the dirty water onto the floor again for some reason, so you really have to pay attention otherwise you’ll wind up with a bigger mess than what you started with. -It is time consuming, gross, and exhausting to clean this machine after each use. Yes this machine gets my floors as clean as a mop and much cleaner than a Swiffer wet but NO you are not saving any time with the two in one vacuum and mop combo because taking it apart, cleaning it, and putting it back together is tedious, frustrating and time consuming. So this machine will not save you time nor money nor effort. I do like a clean floor though.

For the most part I love it
For the most part, I love this thing. But there is a serious design flaw in the dirty water tank. It NEVER connects right and takes forever to reinstall. It is maddening when it pops out

Not worth the money.
It does a good job at mopping, but that is it. There is no steam feature, it dies after 20 minutes and take 4 hours to charge. Not worth $300.

I hate it
This was a huge waste of money. People rave about it but I’m very disappointed. It is terrible to clean. The bacteria has to be growing on the cleaning pad. Even with the self cleaning button it still stinks. I wish I could have returned this item but I didn’t open the box until past the return window. Huge waste of money.

Really good until it wasn’t
Bought this back in summer 2021 and it worked great. And then about 2 1/2 years later, it wouldn’t charge any longer. Tried troubleshooting by cleaning the contacts on the base and mop with isopropyl alcohol, nope, tried abrasive brush, nope, replaced the plug, nope. It’s dead. Maybe replace the battery is left? Probably rated it a 4 after purchase and a 1 since this didn’t last very long and apparently inability to charge is not uncommon. More uncommon is it is unrecoverable. My second bad Tineco product (top ranked vacuum based on CR did not vacuum well at all) and I’m done with them. They look good, though.

I love this mop vacuum. Easy to install, easy to use, it’s convenient! From someone who doesn’t have a lot of strength in her hands this is amazing.

Won’t charge
After a short time of using it the battery just won’t charge anymore. I’ve tried everything and it just won’t work. I really loved it so when I started using it. It was the perfect solution to washing floors since I have back problems. I’m so sad that I used this much money on something that worked for such a little time. I really can’t afford another one.

DO NOT BUY – Motor broke down twice in just over 2 years
The motor of the product broke down after one and a half years of usage, was sent back for repair, but broke down again after another 9 months. Now I’m left with a broken vacuum that has passed the 2 year warranty period. The quality is not good, there are also issues with the charging mount, it tilts after couple months of usage, and I had to stuff a piece of cardboard under it to charge successfully. Too much hassle and a complete waste of money, BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Yea it’s worth it
Love this thing. I hate having to sweep/vacuum then mop. Now it’s all in one. I thought oh lemme just use some fabuloso instead of the cleaner… It’s all suds, still cleans just gotta empty it a bunch more. The included cleaner works and has no fragrance after. I rinse all the parts after every self clean cycle and let air dry on the base.

Battery will stop charging within 2 years. Not worth the high price tag!!
I am super careful with my belongings. I used this mop under 20 times, honestly probably less than 15. I saw afterwards online that this is a common issue with Tineco- their products just stop working after a short time. In my case, like many others, the battery randomly stopped charging! As in, when you put it on the base to charge, it starts charging for 2 seconds and then the screen goes black and it doesn’t charge. (It also went from 100 to dead in like 5 minutes the last time that I was able to use it before this happened). I contacted their customer service and have just been going in circles. They have not been able to help me. So my advice to you is stick with a reputable American company. That way even if you have an issue (which hopefully you won’t), they’ll actually take accountability and help. So so disappointed to have paid $340+ for an electric mop that I was only able to use a handful of times.
