I bought this to use on my bamboo wood floors and my tile floors. I cannot believe how simple it is to use! No more pushing and pulling with my arm, making it sore and everything can be done in one easy step. The cleaner only takes a cat full and really cleans! You won’t believe after you use it the first time how dirt your floors were no matter how much you always mopped. I love it.
It cleans well, but the container that holds the clean water and cleaning solution doesn’t completely empty and is impossible to air dry. It got mold in it after only a few uses and can’t be removed as it’s inside the plastic where the nozzle is.

Poor quality and bad customer service
I bought this unit less than 2 years ago. The tube that things travel through to get to the dirty tank cracked (manufacturer defect). I contacted Tineco and was offered a refurbished unit as a replacement (which is delayed due to being out of stock) or $30…. Needless to say I will be choosing someone OTHER than Tineco for all my future purchases .

I have owned this for 3 years now. It has had to be replaced once and it is now having the same issue of not suctioning with the replaced machine. When contacting customer service they would not cover the second machine that had the same issue because my original device that I don’t even own anymore was more than 2 years old (the current device is less than 2 years old and warranty won’t cover it). Loved my device and recommended it to everyone until I had this issue and left with no machine and a wasted $300. My mother who also owned the device also had the same issue and experience with customer service being terrible and not replacing hers.

I have had to have this device repaired twice, the first time I had to take apart the machine, go and pay out of pocket for a box to ship this in, pay for shipping – they did reimburse me for that and wait awhile for them to resend my broken one that they fixed back. Here it is two months later and now the machine will not charge. I emailed them at the end of December 2023 and told them I am not paying for shipping materials again and to send me out a box. Two months later, the box is delivered. They refuse to give me a credit to buy another one and they won’t replace it, a year and half later… DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!!! I have since thrown it away, I cannot deal with this again. Looking into other models, not Tineco.

Great for normal use, but wouldn’t recommend for serious cleaning
This unit works well, but has a variety of downsides. First it doesn’t hold a lot of water so it needs to be refilled and emptied quite a few times during use. This unit lacks a lot to be desired when trying to clean tougher stains or materials that haven’t immediately fallen on the floor. Dog drool will require at least 5 passes for example. Cleaning the unit requires a lot of taking things apart and air drying. That being said, for normal households and those without pets this is a very useful unit. We loved our steam mop, but wanted to try something new when it finally stopped working. This unit doesn’t loosen stuff nearly as easily, but it does a much better job of actually lifting and removing debris. I suspect the higher end units aren’t much better in actual cleaning, but have substantially more technology if adjustments and information is what you’d like.

Sent Me a Used One!
I was so excited to finally get a wet/dry vacuum. However I almost cried when I opened my package because my product was clearly used! There was leftover water in the tank, dirt and hair in the other tank and sticking out of the bottom, marks on the outside, missing the plug in cord, and even one of the cleaning bottles it came with was opened and half used! I immediately returned for a refund and not sure I’ll ever buy a Tineco product again.

The media could not be loaded. When I first purchased this tineco mop/vac I thought I had died and gone to heaven. This thing was perfect for what I needed. That perfect mop/vac for quick fix spills, when the floors got a little muddy when it rained or just a nice in between times I deep cleaned. All that was great until about 8mo later when it just stopped. It kept telling me to clean the dirty water tank and it also would leak water from the top soap tank. There was nothing in the dirty water tank. I took the tank out and cleaned it and used the brush like it suggested. My question is will it be replaced since it’s not even a year old. It was pretty expensive and I never would’ve purchased had I known it was going to stop working.

This little machine has been a game changer. We have a chocolate lab and the hair is crazy! Our floors never felt clean even after I hand washed my girls socks would still be gross. After tons of research I bought this not knowing what to expect and I am truly impressed. It cleans the floors so good and vacuums up all the missed dog hair from sweeping as well. It’s totally a game changer and I have saved so many hours of cleaning and scrubbing. The only down fall is the times I have to empty the dirty water but I can deal with that. Our house only has carpet in the living room so we use it on the hardwood and tile. Does a fantastic job. Also can do the whole house and never runs out of power. The self cleaning feature is great too!

This didn’t even last a year and a half for me, and for the price I’d expect far more. It stopped auctioning after 18 months, and I shipped it back to be repaired- yet it came back to me and wasn’t even working at all! I called back, and they want me to continue shipping it back until it’s fixed. It’s frustrating. At this point, I’d rather just have a partial refund or a partial credit towards a new machine, since this one has broken TWICE in a year and a half.

It is worth the money
I love this product. It has made my life so much easier especially with 2 little ones dropping food all over the floor. The only thing is you have to clean the roller brush and let it completely air dry or it will start to smell. Other than that it is fantastic!

I LOVEEEEE this vacuum. Not only is it easy to set up, it’s light weight and it pushes itself forward. It picks up so much dirt and cleaning my floors is now super easy. It’s so easy and nice to use that my husband loves using it as well (I think more than I do!) the only thing about this product is after the self cleaning, you do have to immediately go and clean out every channel it tells you to or it will start to malfunction and smell horribly.

A MUST have for wood or tile floors!
Our daughter bought one of these last summer and has been insisting that I need one. I really didn’t think I did, but after her third insisting that I get one I am hooked!!! It’s amazing. I was VERY skeptical, even though our daughter is a clean freak and has 2 labs who shed and loves her Tineco. We have no pets, but we live at the beach – so we have sand. We have hardwood throughout – including on our stairs. This thing picks up everything – including all the fine sand. It is self-propelled so it’s easy to use and has all the power it needs. After I steam mopped my floor, I went over it with this Tineco, to see what the difference would be. First, the Tineco water was dirty after cleaning my floor, so clearly my steam mop wasn’t doing the job! And no feeling of sand anywhere on my floors what so ever!!! But my favorite part is how easy it is now to clean my wood stairs. The Tineco is so light and easy to use to clean my stairs and they look amazing when I’m done. (My floors are a light, white-washed wood). My daughter is right – you absolutely need one of these!!

Smells terrible
At first I thought I loved this machine. After a few weeks it began to smell terribly each time I used it despite cleaning and changes parts as directed. I reached out to the company and was given inconsistent resolutions. After they told me they would replace the machine with a new one they just wanted to fix my current machine. We used this product for a while before it gave out. First it stopped charging reliably on the base. Then after a warranty replacement, the second unit would not run without an error saying “contact tineco customer service.” They refused to replace the second unit. These products are poor quality and defective.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! Purchased machine mid 2021, by early 2023 the machine was not suctioning dirty water. sent it in to get fixed( it was done under their 2 year warranty) Now a year later the machine won’t charge on stand. Called customer service, machine no longer has warranty (of course), there are no replacement parts available for purchase and all they can do is offer a 10% discount towards a new purchase. $300 down the drain.

One time I was told they could replace the battery if I paid $105 and returned the unit to them. The second time I called, I was told that due to supply issues, they no longer replace batteries. I was told I’d need to buy a new unit. So $300 and 2 1/2 years later I have a cleaner ready for the landfill! Easy to use Cleaner for Hardwood Floors. Not complicated to set up or clean up when you’re finished. I have two small dogs and no little kiddos in the house now so not sure how it would have stood up to cleaning the floors back in the day when more dirt was flying around but its really nice for a house with adults.

If you’re debating on buying it, stop
This review is based on one use so far but it made such an awesome impression. This baby is so easy to setup, to push and to clean. This was the dirty water tank after just one sweep of my floors. I compared several vacuum mops and I’m glad I got this one. If I had to nit pixk one thing, it would be that the clean water tank is a bit too small. It barely lasted for my whole floor but I was able to finish. Worth every penny so far.

Warning: this is not a company with integrity
I would have loved to say great things about this vacuum, and would have right up until the moment that it simply stopped working. Although the Tineco website showed a possibility of a chat, no one ever came on so I have to assume they do not have it staffed. We then went to Amazon and hit the “get product support” button, which led to a frustrating exchange with computer-generated standard answers. We jumped through all the hoops, they kept telling us to repeat what we’d already done, and we finally said we were going to file a complaint with Amazon (which we did). We were then offered a refund of $87 but we had to pay $20 for a mailing label, and the $67 would be sent to us after we returned the machine. Given that we paid $400 plus taxes and shipping and it worked for less than a year and a half, we decided we were done with them, except for providing this warning to all of you who may be reading this.

Charging issue
I have had my Tineco for two years and never had an issue til now. Won’t charge past 2 percent. I’ve tried the alcohol method of cleaning the ports and still can’t get to to charge. I think for spending this kind of money- this should have lasted more than two years. I’m extremely disappointed and can not afford a new one at this time. 🙁 I don’t think reaching out to the company themselves would do me any good as I have read that many others have had the same issue and they will not replace the battery or offer a new one.

Almost 5 stars. But absolutely one of the best wet vacuum I’ve ever had
I will start with this, almost 5 stars for only 2 reasons. One,it doesn’t get close enough to the wall, so is more for the middle of the floors. Also doesn’t go under furniture (understandable of course with all the water tanks). Two, the cleaner solution is expensive, I wish could be a little more affordable. I have 10 dogs and 2 cats, and a toddler. This wet vacuum is the best for sure. I stop about 2 or 3 times to empty because I have so much hair in my house on the floors, but that doesn’t bother me, still worth it because really cleans well. I HIGHLY recommend if you have pets. But because I need to fill the clean water tank about 2 or 3 times almost everyday, one bottle of the cleaner goes really fast and as right now, is about 25 dollars each. Also would be nice if had like a stronger smell, a good one like febreeze type of smell. But the cleaner solution still smells good, just not strong enough to smell the house, but strong enough to kill bad odor for sure. So my point is, if in doubt, buy it, if you have pets, buy it. Amazing product overall. Worth the money. Next time I will buy the bigger one 🙂

My husband took over floor cleaning because he loves using this machine
I used to clean my floor through vacuuming and using dry/wet swifter. But the psychologically, I never felt the floor was completely clean. But since my husband is allergic to dust mites, any accumulation of dust would trigger his allergies. After each cleaning, the floor feels very clean and the machine and we find the machine easy to maneuver. It’s easy to refill water tank and remove the wastewater. The voice prompted instruction is very helpful. We are so happy with this machine that my husband volunteers to clean the floor with this machine. Our townhome is approximately 1,000 sq feet and one charge is sufficient. But it requires him to refill the water tank and change the dirty water about 2-3 times for each cleaning. I have two heavy shedding dogs and a cat and a one year old. We both work full-time and I just do not have the time to mop and deep clean the floors as much as I need to. I’ve had two different Bissel Crosswaves before now. I got rid of both because they were so hard to clean, left my floors soaked and with a gross film/residue, and were not just worth the trouble at all. I hated them. I finally decided go try one of the Tinecos and I am so happy with this purchase, I wish I would’ve gotten it way before now. It’s so much easier to use AND clean out than the BISSELL, leaves me floors much cleaner, uses much less water and product, battery life lasts way longer. Everything is 100% better. I’m so relieved to finally have something to help me maintain the house without adding more work!! This picture is after two weeks of no mopping. One tank and battery life almost got my whole house— and I took my time and went over each spot multiple times!! I’m just so impressed

Love it!
The media could not be loaded. I used my mop for the first time today! My floors stay dirty with two dogs and multiple foster dogs and a muddy backyard! The mop did a wonderful job as you can see from the photos. It’s a little loud but didn’t bother me at all. Love that it’s cordless. The self cleaning feature was great. It eliminated all the dog hair from the roller. Easy to take apart and clean. Easy to fill the water tank and empty the dirty bin. So far I am very pleased with the job it did!

Not a good investment – motor failed
Would not recommend this product to anyone. Loved the floor cleaner the first 2 years but motor failed immediately after warranty expired. Appears Tineco is aware of the problem but offers no solutions for repairs. Customer service was responsive, but offered no solutions. For context, I only used 4 times a month. For $400+ you would expect to perform for longer than 2 years. Buyers just beware.

Battery stopped charging after 4 months
I loved it while it worked. Battery stopped charging after 4 months. Tried doing everything Tineco warranty asked including cleaning terminals. I can’t order a replacement battery for it because can’t find a place to ship lithium battery to AK.

Monuments will be erected in its honor. Sonnets will be written to profess undying love for it. Firstborn children will be named after it. With 3 small children, 2 cats, and 1 big puppy, I use this thing 2-4x per day and cannot imagine life without it. We absolutely love it. It sucks up whatever you throw at it (or on the floor), be it wet or dry and has yet to lose suction or get blocked no matter what goes up. Seriously, you need this product if you value clean floors, or easy spill cleanups, or zero dust bunnies, or life in general. Buy it now

Battery Stopped Recharging after Three Years
I love this mop vac and originally gave it five stars. It picks up so much more dirt than a hand mop does. But, it stopped recharging after three years of light use. so, it lost a star for that reason. It lost another star because of difficulty replacing the battery. If it is likely the rechargeable battery will need replacing, then the design should make this simple OR the unit should have a separate battery unit that can be easily swapped out like Tineco does for its floor vacs. Batteries of this size are dangerous because they store a lot of energy. If you short out the battery or damage its thin outside, it could cause a chemical fire that is difficult to put out. If you are comfortable replacing a lap top battery, you should be able to replace the battery here. You have to take out 20 screws, but disconnecting the old battery and connecting the new one is easy.

Love it!
This product is a game changer! Vacuums and washes my hardwood floors at the same time. It saves me so much time and makes cleaning easier. The battery life on it is pretty long. Their customer service is excellent. A part broke and they were very quick to help me get it replaced. I rave about this product to all of my friends, it’s definitely worth the $$.

Tineco too expensive versus years of use!!
Purchased this machine, loved it, did a great job, quick and easy. Then it broke, a sensor problem. It thankfully was within the 2 year warranty. Returned it and they sent a refurbished one…it now will not charge. Contacted Tineco, zero care about this. A 300.00 appliance should last longer!!! very disgusted and will not recommend.

I give this 5+ stars! I have a fairly small house, and I did my kitchen, dining room, living room, and hallway for the first. It was so easy to use, not too heavy. It did an amazing job! My floors are so clean, and I have 3 cats and 3 dogs! I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

This thing worked great for 1 year. I followed all of the directions on how to keep it clean and maintained, using only the solution that it requires and it suddenly stopped sucking completely leaving water all over the floor and in and around and under the base. It won’t even run cleaning cycle anymore and now flashes codes at me. Totally Worthless. And customer service can’t do anything because it is outside of warranty. Beware of china made products!! Instructions through the app are suddenly no longer English only Chinese.
