I bought this to use on my bamboo wood floors and my tile floors. I cannot believe how simple it is to use! No more pushing and pulling with my arm, making it sore and everything can be done in one easy step. The cleaner only takes a cat full and really cleans! You won’t believe after you use it the first time how dirt your floors were no matter how much you always mopped. I love it.
It cleans well, but the container that holds the clean water and cleaning solution doesn’t completely empty and is impossible to air dry. It got mold in it after only a few uses and can’t be removed as it’s inside the plastic where the nozzle is.

Won’t last like they say
When I got this mop I loved it. I used it often and it vacuumed and cleaned up big wet messes. The problem is that it didn’t last the 2 years Tineco said it would (in the warranty). Customer service was a maze and isn’t very good. When I finally got a hold of someone (thru email), they asked me to send back only the engine portion and gave me a shipping label. I have to find a large box myself. I still haven’t gotten instructions on how to disassemble the tineco, despite numerous attempts to get someone to do so. And the label has expired (they give you 7 days before the label expires). Even though I loved my tineco when it worked, it was supposed to last 2 years. For $400 I fully expected the mop to last the 2 years they guaranteed that it would. At the very least I’d also expect Tineco to make good on their warranty in a hassle-free way which they have not. I’m very unhappy at this point and will not purchase again.

Disgusting cleansing after usage and not value for money
this Wet Dry Vacuum Cordless Floor Cleaner and Mop falls short of expectations. Despite its promises of efficiency, it’s far from it. Cleaning with this device is a time-consuming ordeal, as it requires multiple passes to pick up dirt and grime effectively. Additionally, the insistence on using a special soap adds unnecessary hassle and expense to the process. The most disappointing aspect, however, is the cleanup afterward. Emptying the dirty water tank is aunpleasant task, leaving me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. Overall, this product is a letdown and not worth the investment. i would prefer buying just a better vaccum

I am hoping that as I use thus regularly, I will be able to clean my floors before it requires a self-cleaning cycle. A lot more work than it should be
We bought this machine thinking it was going to be more efficient than mopping but unfortunately that is not the case. Don’t get me wrong, the machine works…..but so will you. It only holds about 20 oz of water (1 water bottle) and that goes by really fast. The dirt water tank only holds that much as well which makes it a pain to clean EVERY 20 oz. You not only have to fill the water tank every 20 oz but you also have to empty the dirt water tank each time you finish the 20 oz. If you are a pet owner, it gets worse. There is a compartment where the hair is separated and with each dirt tank clean, you also have to dig in there and get the wet hair out. Not to mention the battery life sucks. It lasts each time about 20 minutes and with how often you’re gonna be going back and forth and cleaning and emptying….. it’s not worth the money spent in my opinion. The one positive is that it actually sucks up the mess.

Got this back in 2020 and loved it. It was very convenient not to have to vacuum, although, it did have a hard time picking up larger debris. I would usually have to refill the clean water tank amd empty the forty tank at least once if I tried to clean my whole downstairs. But it sure made the floors clean. Especially at first, I could wipe with a paper towel after and it was spotless. It doesn’t get along the edges of walls/ cabinets all that well though. We had an issue with the motor about a year or two in. The customer service was helpful and sent us a box to mail the machine back to them at their expense. They fixed it and sent it back in a couple of weeks. Over the last year though, I’ve noticed the machine was leaking a bit/ not getting all the water up and now it simply won’t run. I havent called customer service because I just haven’t had the time and honestly, my floors are dirty. I bought a different brand mop as a replacement. I would have expected this one to last longer than 3.5 years. We did use it frequently, once a week or so. While the machine is self cleaning, you do need to clean a number of parts and the roller gets gunked up with debris and hair, etc. It’s easy enough, but saying it’s self cleaning is a bit of a misnomer. I do recommend using the cleaning solution because otherwise, the machine does get a funky smell after some time. All in all, it’s a decent mop. I know others who have it and haven’t had the same issues as me, but I don’t know that they use theirs as often.

The water had to be refilled numerous times which was a huge hassle!!! It is definitely not a one and done with vacuuming and water cleaning at the same time as was described that it would do. Vacuuming has to be done first by a vacuum cleaner.

After all the reviews I was certain this was just what I was looking for. I will say, it does mop/vacuum. However , I spend more time cleaning this and all it’s parts than I do actually using it to clean , ugh! It’s stinks real bad if not cleaned immediately and the slightest amount of dirt or food gets stuck so you have to take all the parts out and wash separately. It’s a lot of work in my opinion.

Just wish it was stronger
This mop is good for if you clean everyday but not for those who wait till there cleaning day when you play your music. Those deep cleans this has nothing on it it struggles to get the stuff that stuck on the floor or deep stains. So what i would recomend is deep mopping and then try to get in the habit of whenever you see a few things on the floor using it. Only for quick things not deep messes.

Vacuum died just after warranty
I had zero complaints until the machine suddenly stopped working. The motor died. I had this vacuum for 2 years and a half, and customer service just said there’s nothing they can do because the warranty expired after 2 years. They then proceeded to tell me to check their new models and to buy one. A $300 VACUUM SHOULD NOT NEED REPLACEMENT EVERY 2.5 YEARS. An absolute waste of money.

It vacuums and mops moderately well-does it pick up every little thing on the floor and does it mop up every stain? No, but it will make your house look clean for minimal amount of work. Great time saver
This is a wonderful way to cut down cleaning time. I use it every night on tile and hard wood. It does a pretty good job. The automax mode works better on stuck on grime. I still do a “deep” clean once a month on the floors but it take me no time for every day to use. Downside is the tank is small. And don’t forget to clean it every time! We have a dog and cat. The hair isn’t enough to clog it, but if I didn’t use it everyday it probably would. If your thinking about it do it.

My husband bought this for me for Christmas and It was the best present ever! I have an 18 month old and cleaning the mess under his high chair 3 times a day was wearing me down. It felt like my floor could never be clean. But when you have an 18 month old, you need your floor clean because they’re apt to eat any stray piece of old food they find. This vacuums was a game changer for me. It sucked up anything and everything! Yogurt, watermelon, soft boiled egg, oatmeal, everything! My floors were finally clean and in less than a minute at that! The fact that it is cordless makes it so fast to whip out and get any spill. We can have full water bottle spill on the floor now and all we have to do it vacuum it up. The massive amount of water is just sucked into the tank in seconds. In short order we realized you really need to listen the robotic voice when it tells you to empty the dirty water tank and do the self cleaning cycle, because unlike a dry vacuum that you can just set and forget after you finish vacuuming, this is actually a mop and when you’re putting it to task sucking up all that crazy stuff, it’s going to become disgusting and moldy in short order if you don’t care for it appropriately. Always use the cleaning solution it comes with or the self cleaning won’t really do the trick and the roller will become disgusting even if you’re vigilantly doing the self cleaning cycle. We’ve had this for just over a month and I’m almost out of the small amount of cleanser it comes with. I am not aware of the price of a refill, but it warns not to substitute other cleaners. I’m not certain if this is just to sell their product or if there actually are dire consequences. Even with all the appropriate maintenance, I still feel like the mop roller part has to be harboring some extra bacteria, but it’s very easy to remove and wash off by hand, which I do with antibacterial soap and hot water frequently because I don’t like the idea of cleaning my floor with something dirty. I could probably try pouring boiling water out of the kettle over it as well to get it really clean. My verdict is, even with needing to vigilantly clean my cleaning appliance to make it work, the ease of cleaning up after my toddler has still made this appliance a game changer for me. But if your a person who needs a floor that you can eat off of, a vacuum that has a steam component would probably be a better buy for you. I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 just because of the requirement to use their specific cleaner and the fact that I personally don’t think the self cleaning cycle actually gets the roller clean enough.

My warranty ran out 2 months ago. And today my machine died. I called Tineco customer service and they said that nothing can be done. They won’t fix it and there is not a third party that can fix it. That is very very bad customer service. I was will to pay for it to get fixed. But they have no suggestion. For what it cost, it is unacceptable that it dies after 2 years of very light use. I live in a condo and probably used it once a month. That is simply unacceptable as a product. I would not recommend buying this product.

Basically good for spot mopping
Purchased this vac/mop based on all the reviews stating how “life changing” it is. So after a month of use, here are my thoughts. I love the fact that you are always mopping with clean water. The unit is well made. What I don’t like is that the reservoirs are small so I have to empty the dirty water reservoir and refill the cleaning solution reservoir twice for my two story home. Also, on this model there is no indicator telling when your cleaning solution is empty or dirty water reservoir is full. Cleaning the unit is also required after each use. Not a game changer but keep in mind its a little involved so for quick mop ups add 5 minutes to the end Cleaning the unit after you spent two minutes mopping. Now keep in mind, this is an older model and I purchased it for around $200.00. The newer models like the S5 or S7 have larger capacity reservoirs and has voice and graphic displays indicating battery life and reservoir levels. Unfortunately these units cost $550 and up. Also, you still need a regular mop to get where this unit can not, like under tables and base boards or in tight areas. So, is it worth over two hundred fifty dollars for the S3 that is really only good for spot mopping? You’ll have to decide that. Heavy mopping you’ll still need to break out your spin mop and bucket. If the S5 were to come down in price to $250, then I’d say it’s definitely worth it!

I love this machine.
I have luxury vinyl floors in my house and have been using a microfiber mop on them for years, but I didn’t feel that the mop got them very clean. The first time I used the Tineco, the waste water was not only black, it was a bit thick. Since them, I’ve been using it once a week (sometimes with the Tineco cleaning solution), and the waste water has gradually changed to a light gray. The floors not only look clean, they stay clean and I find myself not having to spot mop during the week. They also smell cleaner. I have a bad shoulder and I love the self-propelling feature, too. I used to hate mopping a lot and now I still hate mopping, but only a little.

Holy grail cleaning tool
I can’t say enough about this. It’s the best cleaning tool I’ve ever purchased. Were my floors ever actually clean before this? I’m thinking no. I don’t even like to clean and I do my floors multiple times a week because I can VACUUM AND MOP SIMULTANEOUSLY! And it CLEANS ITSELF!!!!! It’s a very simple setup so no crazy parts you can’t get to that collect grime and get gross. Best purchase ever.

I cannot say enough good things about this. I love it. Cleanup is SO easy with this. I’ve seen that people complain about cleaning it, but with the self cleaning mode all you have to do is empty the dirty water tank and it’s ready to go for next time.

HORRIBLE!!! I’ve gotten 3 of these in the last few months. They’ll work for a few weeks and then stop. Kept shutting off saying to clean the filter, when the filter was already cleaned.

I am not sure it was a great purchase as the quantity of water being poured is a little too much 🫠 therefore, I must have my mop ready to collect the excess of water! I have used it just as a vacuum, but again, I’m not sure where the trash is going as it’s not in the container! Also, it doesn’t work on a flat carpet which should be the easiest one to clean! It’s to late to return it so I will make the best of it! I do like the stand 🙂

Worst customer service on earth!!!! And broke in less than 4 months
I have never written a review. Tineco has the worst customer service on planet earth. Our vacuum broke about 4 months in and here at month 11 I am paying a 20% restocking fee to Amazon to get this thing returned and not have to deal with them anymore. Works great though when not broken. lol
