This is my third shark vacuum. I am impressed by the suction power of this vacuum. However, it is very difficult to push on my longer carpet. I have adjusted the suction power to the lowest setting and still struggle. It also pushes around object that’s aren’t imbedded into the carpet. It won’t pick up cheerios, Barbie shoes, raisins or items of similar size. Because of that I would not recommend it to anyone with children.

Fine for very basic vacuuming
I have always had Shark Vacuums over the years, but the full-sized ones. Bought this one for doing light work and stairs. Definitely not like a traditional Shark, especially on picking up pet hair. Feels flimsy, parts don’t fit together perfectly. If you’re a full-sized Shark Vacuum user, this just doesn’t compare at all. But for the $, or super light cleaning, it’s fine.

Tomorrow will be one full month that I had had the Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away. I was surprised by the size of the box it was delivered in, as I expected it to be quite large but the box was fairly lightweight and the vacuum was really simple to put together. I purchased this based on others reviews and my very well known brand vacuum that I had previously died a not so slow, yet still horrible death. What has exceeded my expectations is the power of this vacuum. I thought my carpets were pretty clean before but this sure proved me wrong! I haven’t emptied it yet, but it seems pretty user friendly. One thing I also noticed, and that also made my dog quite happy was that is not nearly as loud as the last vacuum. Hopefully it will continue to last for years! So far would recommend.

We purchased this vacuum after our old Sears canister vacuum failed. Replacement parts are no longer available due to its age. The Shark vacuum seems to have great suction and emptying the dirt bin is easy. It’s heavier than our Dyson vacuum but the Dyson battery doesn’t last long enough to vacuum our entire house.

I love Shark vacuum cleaners
I have had one for my downstairs for several years and love it. So I decided to buy another one for upstairs. They are almost identical except the canister on the new one is almost half the size as my old one. Not sure why they would do that.

Don’t buy this vacuum
This vacuum is terrible. I have used it twice and hate it. I wasted my money. 1st it won’t stand on my carpet, it tips over. If you have anything more than a low pile carpet good luck. 2nd again if you have anything more than low pile carpet the suction doesn’t adjust enough. I can barely push the vacuum on the lightest suction. 3rd it doesn’t fit under the kick plate in my kitchen or bathroom. Only way you can vacuum is going straight on. 3rd design of emptying it, it has 2 latches to remove it, a real pain. I would really think before buying this shark. This is my 4th one and by far garbage.

Powerful vacuum but not user friendly
The Shark NV360 Navigator Lift Away Deluxe Upright Vacuum has strong suction. However, it is quite heavy and difficult to navigate, especially on carpet. I have been accustomed with past vacuum (Oreck and Dyson) to being able to pull the vacuum around the home with ease. Not so with this Shark. Also, the attachments that come with the vacuum are minimal. There was no brush for the floor, or small brush for baseboards. I had difficulty finding additional attachments to purchase, and ultimately went directly to the Shark website. The choices for this model are minimal and inferior to other brands I have had in the past. The brush bristles are so short that it is difficult to use the attachment without scraping the plastic and marring the wall or other surface.

I love my Shark vacuum and I will only buy this brand because they have all been great. I’ve had 2 or 3 sharks and all have been good. You can take the filter out and clean it easily.

Great vacuum!
The strength of this vacuum is crazy! I love it, I was skeptical because every reviewer says different vacuums are the best for the price but this one definitely is! It’s easy to use, gets in those hard to reach places, and picks up pet hair off carpet like it’s nothing.

I’ve been through a few vacuums and this is the only one that can get pet hair out of carpet. I love this vacuum. ONLY complaint is when you use the hose it pulls the vacuum over

I used to think my rugs were clean
Used to live in a garage for a bit and had rugs to make things a bit nicer. Moved into a new place and brought them with me and while I used an older vacuum I thought it was doing an alright job. This thing absolutely shocked me with how much stuff was still inside the rug, all the dirt, hair, and everything between you could expect from a garage floor. I highly recommend this vacuum.

Best Vacuum Ever
As you can see, the pile of my carpet is sort of a mini shag. It tends to mat down where I sit on my sofa. No other vac I’ve had over the years would fluff up that area (not even raking it worked) until now. This vac fluffs it up without much effort on my part. This vacuum can be a bit hard to push, because of the high suction. I solved that problem by loweing the suction (instructions included with the vac). My arthritic back is thankful. I also can’t believe the amount of dirt this vac picks up. You’d think I never vacuumed my carpet before. If you’re on the fence, try this one. All my old vacs, including a fairly new stick vac, and my old Hoover Windtunnel are heading for the trash

Where is the light kit?
Vacuumed yesterday. Received my new vacuum cleaner today. Re-vacuumed about 1/3 of the den and was amazed at how much dirt got pulled up! This machine advertises “light kit included”. There is no light on this machine short of the brush roll indicator. A real light would be nice. Assembly was super easy and maneuverability is great. If it had a light kit, I would have given 5 stars.

I guess they made a bad batch
I bought this product the first time and the handle cracked within five minutes of using it. I ordered a replacement for it and this one came with a cracked handle. So I’m guessing that they just made a bad batch or that it is being handled improperly. So I’ll just have to go And get a different product

Broke after 5 minutes
This plastic piece (that you literally have to have to operate and have suction) snapped after 5 minutes of use. Vacuumed 1/4 of the room, unplugged and moved to another area, plugged back in, turned it on, put my foot on the bottom to lean it back and snapped right off. Absolutely insane. I’ve never had anything like that happen.

The Horror!
Do you enjoy the ignorant bliss of not knowing how truly dirty your carpet is? If so, do not buy this vaccuum. I wish I could unsee what this vaccuum picked up from my living room rug (that had just been Roomba-ed). The horrors continued upstairs. The suction on this thing is no joke. I have medium pile carpet and even with the suction on the lowest setting, it felt like you are sucking up subfloor. Pros: small size allows you to get in small areas, adjustable suction for bare floors vs carpet, and you can adjust the suction for carpet depth, gets up more dirt then I believed could possibly be in my carpet. Cons: if you have low pile carpet or bare floors, there are no cons. For medium pile or more, the suction is so powerful that it’s pretty hard to move. Like, as a fit person I break a sweat vaccuuming with this thing. I would 10/10 buy again, but 4 stars because it’s strenuous to use.

Amazing
I’ve lived in my new 2 bedroom apartment for almost two weeks now. Place was “professionally” cleaned, carpets included, before I moved in. This is what it picked up with just 1 pass over everything.

The media could not be loaded. OVERVIEW: This vacuum sucks so good. 😎 I’m preparing my office for a new job I just took working from home. What is now my office was once my “kitties’ bedroom” — in other words, it smelt and was just dirty/hairy. No matter how hard I tried with my other vacuum, it still didn’t feel fully clean. I used baking soda to mitigate any leftover smells (which definitely helped), but it still felt and look like there was baking soda in my carpet. I vacuumed this thing like 10 times (with my old vacuum) AFTER putting the powder down. I decided it was time for a change. Thanks to pre-Prime Day-galore, I was able to order this sucker (see what I did there?) for $160. The reviews were promising so I knew it was worth trying out. If I told you I wasn’t literally watching the stops my Amazon driver was making to get to me with this thing, I’d be lying. It arrived while I was at my friend’s house and I told her I needed to leave so I could go vacuum. And boy was it worth it! This thing has the suction power of a black hole. The photos of the dust bin are after only a couple swipes over my carpet that I had already gone over with my old vacuum 10 times! It works like a breeze and I’ll be able to use it for carpets, area rugs, furniture, hardwood floors, and who knows what else! When I first turned it on, I could tell it was like driving a Lamborghini over my Toyota Prius. It can be surprising at first how much it sticks to the floor, but I fully believe that’s a good thing! I’d say after getting over that initial shock, it’s very easy to use! Assembling the vacuum was a breeze. The only fix I would recommend for Shark is to have a three-pronged plug. In my hour of vacuuming, the plug sagged out of the wall three times (I was holding that end of the cord so it wouldn’t pull out, but even the slightest tug had me plugging it back into the wall). I also wish the tubing was longer for the attachments! Even so, I’ll be using this on ALL of my furniture regularly. Last bit of feedback is that there are only two places for the attachments to be stored on the vacuum, yet three attachments. Not the hugest deal though because a lot of vacuums don’t even have a place for one attachment! SUMMARY: If you’re hesitating on buying this vacuum, don’t. It’s 100% worth every penny. Side note: the day after I ordered this vacuum, my old vacuum’s motor burned out! I got it for free from a friend a few years ago, so I wasn’t too worried. I was just laughing at the irony of it all 😆

Does NOT attach together!
This vacuum comes in 3 pieces and not a single piece locks in place! I have lightly pushed them together and with force pushed them together and they do not lock in place! So when i tried vacuuming the vacuum literally just falls apart.

Not easy to empty/detatch
I had a Shark before and everything was basically 1 touch to detatch cannister to empty, to lift away…not this one clips that need to be latched/unlatched, no easy lift away. Do not like these features. The attachments were missing had to call manufacturer to have them shipped.

We have 7 animals, three of them being husky/husky mixes, and this vacuum works amazing. It sucks up all the hair, dust, and dander. It’s not too heavy so I can easily vacuum up the stairs. One down side is if you have cheap carpet that was poorly installed, it will show because of how strong the suction is. It does work on hardwood too. The attachments are easy to take on and off.

Good suction Worst Vacuum
This is my first bagless Vacuum and probably my last. Here’s a list of the specific things I dislike about the design of this vacuum cleaner. It has a large container for dust… but is full when it contains two inches of husky fur. And at two inches the performance decreases markedly. The suction is great, it will actually get stuck to the floor, but because of poor design, will not reach within an inch and a half of the baseboards to the sides and a half inch in front. The attachment hose is too short. We’ve had multiple injuries from the vacuum unexpectedly tipping over. The cord is also too short. It comes with an add on to carry one attachment and that is very inconvenient. Because of the location of the cord wind hook and the weird handle it needs a good two inch space to fit behind furniture. It does not extend, so it will only reach a small distance anyway. Really it’s just awful and if I could afford something else I’d buy a new anything else.

Vacuum is very cheap feeling, has started to make noise when using for only a month. SUPER SHORT CORD. you have to plug in a new outlet to vacuum everyroom! Annoying! You CANNOT vacuum area rugs with this, it will clog and stop. Overall I regret buying this and although the price is good the quality is not.

Suction is fantastic but…
I bought this because I’m fed up with my Dyson breaking. This Shark Vacuum works great on hardwood and carpet. I’m especially pleased with how it vacuums the carpet. I read one review that said the lady sent it back because she was worried it would suck a hole in her carpet. That review made me want to buy it even more! 😉 I was just thinking about that review while vacuuming when I accidentally pulled the vacuum back too far and it rolled over my foot. My big toe and the toe next to it are both badly bruised and bleeding. It is extremely painful, and I’m praying it didn’t damage my toenails. I would post a picture but pictures of feet are gross! Anyway, as dumb as it sounds, I’ll be vacuuming with tennis shoes on from now on!

Worst vacuum ever
The media could not be loaded. At first I was really impressed. Works great on my laminate flooring. Horrible on rugs. Won’t even touch hair but somehow can suck up the entire rug and not let it go. Just won’t take the hair with it. I’ve adjusted the settings, nothing is clogged, it’s just awful!!! Returned it!

OK…… Really good suction. Picked up lots of cat hair! Very maneuverable- especially if you have nooks and crannies because the brush bar head is small. (However, you may want to consider a vac with a bigger brush bar if you happen to have lots of floor space to traverse.) Super easy to dump canister. Nice weight. Much lighter than my old upright. Electrical cord TOO SHORT. Annoying. About 24.5 ft here. My last upright vac was more like 29ft. If you need attachments, pay attention to what comes with this vac. It’s not much.

I bought a Shark vacuum 5 years ago from BIG Lots. It was the best vacuum ever! It took quite the beating when I sold my house. Move to new place, decide to get new, fresh vacuum. A month and a half ago. Not even used 5 times. Emptied canister to put it in closet and the bottom breaks apart. It’s actually split, so I’m sure the suction is done. WHY didn’t I keep my mom’s Kirby instead of donating it???? It was HEAVY, but all metal and still worked like a boss.

So far so good. We purchased this vacuum because we have 2 cats and 2 dogs. The suction and the capacity blew me away. I think I’m in love. Will give it a few more weeks and update this review.
