Vacuums well. Instantly picked up loads of cat hair. It cannot find the dock…..ever. in between use had to add the robot and resync it each time. I’m running out of silly names to call it. It is supposed to be easy. It does not operate well since It cannot ever dock and It never responds to app unless deleted and re-added. This was the inexpensive model get what you pay for.

The media could not be loaded. Nice shark vacuum. Bought it in 2021, still works great 👍🏻 The only issue I have is that it tends to circle around the same area quite a bit, and often times it gets stuck as a result. I usually have to redirect it, and it goes on with its business 😃 It helps me around the house since I vacuum everyday 🫢 because I have 3 dogs 🐕😬 I usually keep my house spotless 😻 because I also have small kids and I hate messy. If you relay on this little vacuum for the cleaning 🧹 then don’t expect much. It’s good to go around and pick up dirt, hair and such, but it won’t clean thoroughly every corner of your house. As I mentioned above, I keep my house fairly clean, so on days that I am more exhausted, this works great for me. I often times let it run even after I’ve vacuumed already, because there is always something I tend to miss 🤔 or perhaps my dogs walking around shed here and there and release more dog hair 🙄 I would recommend this product as a back up cleaning solution, or for lazy days, but it has different patterns and it goes around and makes same routine sometimes so it won’t touch every corner of your house. You can also connect it to your phone and control it through the app. I find that quite convenient. Please see my video as reference to the vacuum being stuck in one area for a while, but also keep in mind that if the area is small, chances of it getting stuck are higher versus if the area is open. It does great in my living room for example, not as great if it gets in my bathroom 🫣

It works, but isn’t thorough
I bought this to help keep up with the dog hair in my house. It picks up everything it drives over, however, it drives the exact same pattern and only cleans certain lanes of the floor every single day. I’m disappointed that it’s not cleaning the floors enough to reduce my need to vacuum everyday.

I’ve had several shark robot vacuums throughout the years and loved them. Work well, good quality. This one, however, will not connect to the wifi/app regardless of what I do. I took off 2 stars for this because I can’t map the rooms, schedule cleaning, remote clean, or anything. The vac is only functional with manual buttons. Very disappointing because I like to set the scheduled cleaning.

Got this to help with picking up fur from my floofy cat. It’s just a basic turn on/turn off robot. I can schedule it to “start” thru the app, but there is no way to select how long it runs. So I guess it just goes and goes forever!

Basic but good
There are no fancy bells and whistles. It simply moves forward until it touches something and the turns at an angle and continues. I do find clumps of dog hair on my rugs but they are easy to pick up. It replaces a programmable self emptying one I loved that died after about 4 months of use. I will stick to basics from now on.

This robot will not connect to my phone app. I’ve tried for 2 days now, doing all of the recommended troubleshooting. When I press the two buttons on top to start pairing with phone it is supposed to blink and say something like “ready to pair” but the light only blinks and it never says that. I am unable to get it to pair with my phone shark app. So before I’ve even used it or even tried it I’m sending it back. The basic doesn’t even work on this thing. I am going to order another Roomba instead. I never should have ventured away from Roomba because they are amazing and my last Roomba robot lasted forever and did such a great job and was so easy to use. We will never buy shark robot again.

The time saved from using a regular vacuum is a significant advantage. However, its vacuum power rating is only 7.5/10. One of the main drawbacks is the lack of connectivity with the wifi. Additionally, the vacuum frequently gets stuck on simple objects. In my opinion, the vacuum’s tendency to circle in the same areas could be improved by investing in the vacuum mapping feature.

Not the Best, Not the Worst
I have had multiple robot vacuums and the Shark has been the least impressive of all of them. Positives: it gets the job done and is easy to clean. Negatives: It is unbearably loud. It randomly starts itself in the morning. It takes about 15 minutes to find the docking station on its own. I’d recommend spending your money on a different brand.

Unbelievable
I have the robot set up and running exclusively in my bedroom. This is a low traffic area inhabited by only myself and two short haired domestic cats. It is a very tidy area with no visible signs of mess or filth. I run the machine every day. Every day after the machine runs, I empty it and it’s rubbish reservoir is full of dust, dirt and hair. My family is absolutely astounded by what ends up being collected every day in the reservoir because it is such a low traffic and tidy space. I don’t know how I lived without this and can’t believe that I used to lug my full-size vacuum cleaner out twice a week to vacuum the space when this little machine picks up a considerable amount of undesirable material from the floor every single day. This was at the lower end of the price points for automated vacuums and the results it provides leave me overjoyed. I can’t even begin to imagine what the $300+ units do. This has been a delight to use for daily tidying up of a space that I enjoy keeping clean, cozy and comforting.

First it’s a Shark. This thing picked up dirt I was sure was not there! I tested it. I vacuumed and had my floors what I believed were clean. Then I released Alice (I named mine Alice because the Brady Bunch house was always clean ;)! OhMyGoodness! I don’t know where she found the dirt/dust but she did and I am thrilled. I run her twice a day because I allow folks to enter my house however they are, dirt, sawdust, leaves, and all! Alice takes it all in stride. She is very easy to clean when she finishes. She runs for about an hour before putting herself up. She isn’t quiet, but not really loud. I turn up the TV a bit and it is fine. I am very please with my Shark!

I have always been pleased with Shark products but NOT this one. I’ve had it for 4 months and have had nothing but issues. It doesn’t stay on schedule, stops in the middle the floor, won’t dock, doesn’t charge, etc. I’m constantly on the app fixing, scheduling etc. Don’t waste your money.

Bought for my 84 year-old mother. She loves it as it cleans all of her floors and she doesn’t need to wear herself out vacuuming or sweeping. She can reach down and turn it on. Only downfall is she has a hard time removing the dust catcher as you have to squeeze it to open it and she doesn’t have enough strength to do so.

Worked well for a year
This little robot vacuum was my first and it was a game changer. My floors have never been so clean, and on a continuous basis, with just the push of a button and not much else required but to empty the bin of dust and dog hair between uses. However a couple months ago, after about 10 months of almost daily use (minus about a month of cumulative days without being activated due to being out of town etc) it started getting stuck in places it previously navigated without issue. Low-lying thresholds between rooms mostly, but today after a little over a year of ownership it actually got the stuck error message after bumping into the wall. This means this vacuum cannot be used unattended or it will end up stalled somewhere before long. Also, the wireless remote app requires a 2.4 GHz WiFi band so you cannot have dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz active on the same network you have to set them up as separate networks to get the Shark vacuum app to work. All in all not a terrible starter robot vacuum but be aware that you will be paying for only a year or less worth of functionality, whatever that is worth to you.

I have handheld shark vacuums so I thought to try this one after a cheap one broke. The trash compartment is so hard to empty not as simple like in the other one. It went randomly everywhere and it would try to dock without the battery needing to be charged and not finishing. The positive is that it didn’t get stuck as often like the cheap one. Other negative is that it didn’t have a remote control and you need an app. It also didn’t have the option to do 1 area focused cleaning and it didn’t have option to do along walls following the walls to clean. It just has the option to randomly go everywhere.

Shark room vac
Such great suction and very thorough. I have not programed it yet, as moving. Just start at let it go at will. Amazing of all the dust and everyday dirt that is not detected by eyesight, that is collected!

Does not map and will randomly disconnect from WiFi
I had a shark from 2018 that worked better than this thing. This one does not map the house and does randomly disconnect from WiFi. Then you have to start the process all over again. Would not buy it again

Will not connect
This device will not connect to my home network or my iPhone. I have tried every solution I can find both from Shark and from the internet. Never have I had this problem with any device. It’s 2024. it should be seamless!

My experience with this vacuum was that (1) it’s super loud, (2) it ‘hard’ bumps into things and walls neighbors downstairs can hear it, (3) it runs over the same already vacuumed spot over and over (4) would get stuck in places. I couldn’t find any reason to give it any star.

Awsome, this is the second one I have, works great and for a long time, cleans well as expected the areas which it could cover, nice price too, it helps me a lot , could do other chores and let it help me

Shark robot
I’ve owned at least 3 shark robot vacuums and this is the worst product I’ve ever received from Amazon and shark. Does a horrible job cleaning. Does what ever it wants, have to go behind and clean. Have to physically make it go into other rooms. Terrible waste of time and money. DON’T BUY. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE IT A MINUS ‘0’.

Giving it the bennett if a doubt. This is the second one a bought. Same name and model. First on lasted 1 year 2nd one 4 months. They both ended up having the same issue. Turns on go es about 8 -10 inches then stops. It’s clean, charged and properly installed. Buy a better quality, this is a bad product.

Pros: Affordable. Best for shutting in a bedroom to get the stuff under the bed. Cons: NOT good for real hairy dogs like Aussies. It doesn’t get in corners or along baseboards where furniture is, so you still have to get out a regular vac. You still have to pick up pretty much everything on the floor..ie: standing fan stands, any electric cords, shoes (with shoe strings), clothes, pet toys. I’m not sure this is saving me much time. I’ll use it till it wears out but won’t buy another robot vac. In my opinion robot vacs are for minimalists who don’t have much to vacuum around and are too lazy to actually do physical work.

Stopped working
The vacuum was delivered on October 10. By November 9th I requested a return. I used it a handful of times and it worked amazing. Great suction. Easy to use. One day out of nowhere it just died. I will probably order it again in hopes it was a defect on that model.

Does a great job
We now have 1 of these in each level of our home and they do a great job on pet hair. They make the carpets look great and we have to empty them several times because they suck up so much. I love mine.

Absolutely amazing
First time Shark customer, first time Robot Vacuum owner & user and I’m impressed. I wasn’t sure what brand to buy, being that there are SO many and so many price ranges. I saw this vac at a big box home improvent store and noticed it got the best reviews compared to less and more expensive vacs, with the great price point it was worth a try. Amazon’s price was better than the store. This little vac was extremely easy to set up. Just plug in the dock, place the vac on and charge before your first use. Once charged, download the app from any app store and set up an account. The app guides you through the steps to get the vac started, it’s very easy. Easier than setting up a new phone. Overall this vac seems to be very well made, so we’re very pleased with it. This little bugger picks up a LOT. She (ours is named Rosie after the Jetson’s robot) swept old carpeting that was very dirty due to moving things around and storing in that room. She fluffed the carpet and picked up ALL of the debris on the carpet. She did a better job than my Oreck (my Oreck is older and losing suction, though does a great job on vinyl plank). Suction is A+! As already stated it picked up string, paper pieces, dust, etc, etc off of old carpet. She dusted the plank floors extremely well. This vacuum mauevers very well. She became confused after going under a snack table but DID figure her way out! I was very impressed. It gently bumps it’s way out of situations and to find it’s way. It cleaned under every table, along baseboards, under couches. When we felt she had vacuumed enough, just hit dock button in the app and the vac returns to its dock. We did learn that it’s best to place the doc in an open area, otherwise the vac can’t maneuver into the dock. It needs space to spin and back into it’s dock. A++++ quality, A++++ performance.

I’ve only used my iRobot for about a week, but so sad it’s working well. My last one got stuck a lot and we’d have to find it and put it back in its port. That is not happening with this one. My last one got caught on wires; that is not happening either. It is also much quieter than my old one.
