Breaks in about 4 months
I ordered this product to avoid chasing a robot around to empty it’s dust bin. I previously owned an irobot. My irobot lasted years. I was told by my sibling, shark is great any issue very easy to deal with. Shark customer service is not easy to deal with. They have you video to see what the issue is. I showed them and was told go thru these steps and contact us again if the error happens again. I explained second time I have gone thru these exact steps. I have had this error several times today. Showed them the issue, no error message however opened up the back and the self emptying part had not emptied. They asked me to find a box big enough to send it back. I don’t have a box big enough to send it back without risking the unit getting damaged in transit. For the amount of money spent on this item and the fact that they have video evidence it is not working I fail to understand why they cannot simply honor their warranty and replace a faulty product. Instead I am asked to pay for a box big enough to return it as they cannot replace it until they get the original item back.

Three robo-vacs in 10 yrs, this is the worst.
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely the worst thus far. Cons: 1) Very small container. 2) Gets clogged constantly and errors. 3) Gets stuck in corners constantly. 4) Hair gets stuck exiting the vac to the station constantly. 5) Very small brush width. 6) Can’t understand voice when it errors. 7) The swing arm that is supposed to pull stuff into the brush head actually keeps tossing it off to the right and never gets picked up. Pros: 1) Good battery life. 2) Decent app for programming 3) Not that loud. Stick with Roomba. Took a chance to save money – big mistake.

Great budget robo MopVac
As these combo units are becoming much more expensive $6-900+ I feel like this unit is the sweet spot. Really thorough, easy setup, cleans amazing, great app and easy to swap out the pads and wash and reuse. I just been doing .5oz Mr clean floor concentrate and water to fill up the back. Swap the pad every few goes. Cleans extremely well.

It rarely works properly
I’ve had this shark vac/mop robot for about four months now, and I regret this purchase. Here are a few reasons why: 1) I’ve had to redo the mop’s mapping of the house about five times, and it still won’t reliably vac/mop the rooms/areas assigned. 2) The mop can only find its way back to the dock about 50% of the time. Often I find it spinning in a corner or running into a piece of furniture until it dies. 3) Lately the robot will simply leave its dock and go about 1 foot forward, spin around, and then go back to the dock. The 1 foot area in front of the dock is very clean. I’ve spent a great deal of time troubleshooting these issues, and some of the tips I found did help, but not for long; the robot always goes back to having the same issues mentioned above. Overall, this vac/mop has been more trouble than it’s worth. I’ve spent way too much time and experienced a great deal of frustration trying to get it to work; I wanted it to work! If you want a robot vac/mop to do what you expect it to do, then I wouldn’t recommend buying this one.

This Shark vacuum does a very good job. I love the fact that I can use the app to select individual rooms to clean. I also like that I can mark areas within the rooms to omit. So far, I am very impressed with my new Shark. I named her Hazel. 🙂

Do not buy!!
Worked great until it started randomly starting itself throughout the day and night. After weeks of troubleshooting with their less than competent customer service, finally agreed to replace the unit. However, they will not send the replacement until we send back the defective one. Meaning I’m inconvenienced and not able to use something through no fault of my own.

Difficult to set up
I had quite a bit of difficulty in contecting this to the internet and actually getting this set up. After a little over an hour on the phone with the service tech., I was told “we will call you back within 24 hrs.” The next day they called me back, we were able to get the unit set up after about another 30ish minutes. I have not been able to set up scheduling the vacuum to clean on its own. But by pushing the clean button its works well. There are no directions on switching and using the mop. That is another downside. I did a bit of u tubing and figured it out. If I could get this set up to clean on a schedule I would give this a 5 star.

I expected so much more from this vacuum. I bought it on sale to replace another brand that has been acting up a bit. I’d read mixed reviews, but decided to give it a shot and was hopeful that it would be worth the price given the brand. Boy was I wrong. The app was not user friendly in my opinion after using others that were much easier to use/navigate and the vacuum itself did not perform well. We have pets and my long hair ends up all over the house…this would roll over a pile of hair and do nothing. Even on the highest power it would miss so much. I gave it multiple chances to prove itself but it just wasn’t worth keeping. Back to my old one. At least I’m used to her faults.

Should have purchased sooner
I love this robot Vacuum. We have 3 dogs and it picks up dog hair with ease. Normally i sweep everyday to try to keep up and it’s already saved me so much time. I love that it has a bagless system that i don’t have to change daily. I was told to make sure i got one that can map your house and it works just as i was expected. I am able to control which rooms it cleans, set it to do a more in-depth clean, see the estimated time, and schedule days ans times to clean. I haven’t had any issues with the app so i don’t know if they made updates since the other users made a review but i am happy so far. My only complaint and reason for the 4 stars is the robot itself is rather big and areas i feel like it should fit, it doesn’t. I also noticed it is kind of all over the place and jumping around and doesn’t always get the debris along the way or edge but for the most part it does clean the floors well despite this. It’s not super loud and if i’m in a different room i cant really hear it.

This vacuum is a game changer
I was going back and forth if I wanted to invest in a robot vacuum on prime day. We already have a Dyson vacuum that works great, but we wanted something that could alleviate some household chores on a daily basis. I specifically wanted a vacuum with a hepa filter, and this was one of the only vacuums I could find that had one! So far, we’re really impressed! ‘MAUDE’ IS SUCH A BIG HELP!
Just built a new house to include my aging mother and her 2 cats. Now, 3 adults, 4 cats and 1 large black lab occupy this space and the length of time it has taken to vacuum the floors has been too long. I can’t keep up with the hair and dirt, so I decided I needed a robotic vacuum. I chose this because I have a Shark Navigator Pet vacuum and love it, so thought this would be good. My mother named it ‘Maude,’ and Maude has been doing our floors on demand as well as daily, picking up all sorts of crumbs, pet food, dirt, and whatever else is in her way. My husband is so impressed by the looks of all the floors, and it has saved me so much time that I now get to do other chores. Everyone needs a ‘Maude.’ Oh, and Maude hasn’t eaten any power cords or rugs! The dog is hoping someday Maude will play with him, but she won’t give up her duties!

Worth Every Penny
Ok so I don’t write a lot of reviews even though I buy everything from Amazon. I have 2 dogs, a Rottweiler and a Lab mix. They both shed like crazy. I got the Shark and just had it vacuum the first day. I did not map out my house floor plan. It goes back to the charging station or dock when it needs to recharge. It runs for an hour and then recharges when it needs to. Once recharged it finishes the job. 3 days after the first vacuum my floors were still hair free!! It goes under the bed and retraces itself even going on the rug which is shag. It literally leaves vacuum lines!! I had it mail and vacuum today and I am elated!! Seriously , love, love, love!! It also empties itself!! I highly recommend!! The best item I have ever purchased from Amazon !!

4 Stars – Great Robot, Tricky Setup, but Totally Worth It!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had my robot vacuum for about a week now, and while we didn’t hit it off perfectly at the start, we’re on good terms now. 😄 Setting up the mapping and carpet zones? Well, let’s just say it was a challenge for me. But once I got the mop part going, it was smooth sailing—loved the video tutorials in the app (super helpful!). The multi-purpose floor cleaner (don’t need to dilute) that came with it smells amazing, like it’s giving my floors a little spa day every time! I use this robot on my first floor, which is about 2500 sq. ft., and on normal mode, it does run out of battery and cleaning solution, but that doesn’t bug me. I love that I can tell it which rooms to clean—it’s like commanding my own little cleaning army! I haven’t figured out if there’s a scheduler yet, so I just play cleaning commander whenever I need it. One funny thing: it really likes my baseboards. Like, a little too much. My poor robot is covered in white paint scuffs now, but it seems unbothered, so I guess I should be too. All in all, once the setup was sorted, it vacuums and mops like a pro, so I’m happy!

Great little vacuum!
The media could not be loaded. This cute little vacuum really cleans my hardwood floors beautifully! I’m using the mop feature in the video. The floors are clean and shiny. I moved my area rugs out of the way and will put back when the mopping is finished. I love the ease of use. I have used the vacuum feature every day since I received it. I have dogs and need to vacuum every day. When the vacuum gets full, it returns to the docking station, empties itself, and goes back to were it was to resume vacuuming. Make sure you follow instructions to have things like cords and such out of the way. Makes it a smoother process. This little vacuum was a good investment as vacuuming my house has become quite hard with back issues.

HONEST REVIEW – Unit clogs Pet Hair externally, leaves pet hair everywhere
Unfortunately although it claims to be specific for pet hair, the picture clearly shows the unit has issues with sucking in the pet hair. Leaves pet hair everywhere vs suction into the unit. It was not full – the unit goes back to home base to “unload” the dirt in the base. Buyer beware on this unit. Comparison – For ten years, I used a NEATO robot vacuum which never clogged. The difference; NEATO had a larger roller and suction area. The Shark has a smaller roller and smaller suction area.

One week in, so far very pleased
The navigation (using LiDAR) is a huge step from the other robots I’ve used, it took about 10 minutes to map the entire first floor. When on an actual cleaning run it also has a much softer touch than robots that rely primarily on a bumper to know when they’ve hit something. Most of the time the Shark will stop about 1/4″ from a wall or obstacle and follow it around at that distance, although sometimes it does make light contact before following around the object (but does not drag itself against the object). There are three speeds on the vacuum, even the maximum is quieter than a normal vacuum cleaner. You can easily hear normal conversation over it running in the same room (although you may need to turn the TV up slightly). The mop function seems to do an excellent job as well. The only critique I have here is that with the mop attachment, the dustbin must be manually emptied (but since the mop pad will probably also need to be changed after each mopping run, it isn’t a huge issue for me). The battery life seems adequate. With the vacuum on the highest setting, and with the mop attachment, the robot went back to recharge after covering, what it reported to be, 500 sq. ft. Recharging does take several hours (longer than I would have expected, but since it automatically pauses and resumes, I guess it doesn’t really matter). The mobile app (used to manage pretty much everything) works well for me. The only limitation I would call out is that, currently, the scheduling function does not allow you to specify which rooms to clean (when running on a schedule it will clean everywhere).

We have been looking at getting one of these for years, on Prime Day, we finally pulled the trigger. This Shark Robot is a lifesaver, not sure how we managed without it! It self dumps and then continues to clean after she is charged back up AND the mopping is great as well!! Highly recommend!

Sad but true
I’ve now had this for one year and within the first six months I had to have the robot replaced because it just stopped. They were kind enough to send a replacement and the company is nice but I have had problems with it ever since. It will go off by itself ignoring the scheduled time and it will also not follow the map and go into rooms I have put a no go into on. It’s like it’s got a mind of its own even after a factory reset and looking up a bunch of solutions. Sadly I’m going to have to throw this one out and get something a little bit more reliable. I hope this helps you decide for longevity since they are still quite expensive.

I am impressed with how well this robotic vacuum works. As a busy mom of 2 I plan for vacuuming most days (totally hands free) and mopping 2 days a week (requires to switch to mopping attachment and ensure reservoir is filled and a new mop pad is attached) and it keeps my floors free of dust and grime. Would highly recommend.

I have tried to map my home twice now it does not detect any wires. It’ll run them over pull them out of the wall, if left on the floor, it will try to vacuum up shoelaces if left on the floor. Failed every obstacle I put down. It’s missed very small pieces of paper I threw on the floor for a test. If you have a floor lamp, it’ll try to climb on this base. It does not map out the whole room. It missed the whole center of the room, while mapping.

Robots are getting better
This replaced a “D” shaped Neato branded robot that is no longer in production. This robot requires much less intervention. We have two cats and a dog so we run it every day to reduce hair and dust, this vacuum is quieter and the self emptying feature permits a smaller capacity dustbin to compete with robots that have larger dustbins. Dog and cat hair still get caught in the roller but not as often as was the case with the neato. Bottom line this Robot is a noticeable improvement over the Neato.

I was on the fence about purchasing because an old robot vacuum would get stuck everywhere and barely worked so I didn’t use it. However, I’ve never been disappointed by a shark product so I took the plunge. To say it was the best decision would be an understatement. With a shedding puppy, and 2 toddlers I felt I was vacuuming every day before. Now I set this little miracle worker to go before everyone wakes up and I come downstairs to a clean home. I feel like super woman/super mom before the sun comes up!

You have to clean
After this cleans each time you have to clean the filter, and dump what was vacuumed up. It does fit around a lot of the furniture, so not a great clean.

One of the best gifts to myself in a long time!
I am very happy with this purchase (sale price $299). The app is definitely not the best and would benefit from an overhaul but don’t let that deter you from purchasing this robot vac unless you cannot manage phone apps as a rule. My vac is the dry only model. This has saved me from a lot of work and difficulties vacuuming manually after major surgery. I have two dogs, including German Shepherd (hair factory) and this makes a big difference in keeping my floors hair free. I run this on average twice per week and then vacuum the house manually every other week and my floors are well maintained. I have recommended this robot vacuum to a few people. Before this purchase, I cheaper out and tried two off brand robots. There is no comparison with those pieces of junk and the Shark. Noise level is low. I dump the dustbin after 2-3 uses because there is no reason to ignore it – it takes a minute to remove, dump and reattach. I am very happy with Clean Latifah and hoping that if I take good care of her she will continue to take good care of me for a few years or more.

Barely got two years out of it. Only cleans part of the house and stops. Factory reset, remapping and new battery didn’t help.

Misleading
I bought this because it was a better brand but apparently better brand doesn’t mean better. It says it won’t run over stuff if it’s laying in the path and this things runs over toys, poop and anything else in its way. It also maps but then doesn’t follow it. It is always going into areas that I have blocked off. I’m so disappointed in the produce. I will never buy again

The media could not be loaded. I won’t touch a mop again🤪! I LOVE IT. Ease of Setup. Picks all my dog hair, It doesn’t leave a spot without clean it. I’ve scheduled to start cleaning at night when nobody will be around. I wake up and my floor is perfectly clean. Mop the floor well, I have carpets in the bedrooms and it does a perfect job. Is really Amazing♥️

Just Randomly Quit!
Worked fine until just after Amazon’s 30 day return policy, then randomly stopped contacting to the WiFi. No matter what I’ve tried (rebooting and restarting everything). It just stopped. Bad form Shark and “Trading group” ! You’ve lost a customer forever. Stay away from this product and seller!!
