Works with Clumping Pretty Litter
I spent a lot of time researching automatic litter boxes because I wanted to switch to one before I adopted a second cat. I found that there were two large hurdles for me: the fact that I prefer to use pretty litter and I have a very specified and limited space for the litter box. I switched to the clumping version of pretty litter and this one fit! Plus it has the added bonus of being not ugly. My cat was wary of the box at first but the first day I had this fully set up, with his original box next to it, he chose to use it. So far I appreciate how quiet it is and the integration of the app to keep me updated on my cat’s bathroom habits. So far 5 stars!

Not worth the money..
I don’t understand the sparkling reviews on this item. It was insanely expensive, but I was willing to pay it as someone who HATES scooping litter. The inside of it is so small, my 10 pound cat gets feces on him when he turns around due to the massive mess the scooper makes he’s also able to easily fling litter out as he leaves. I’m not sure how anyone can say this box doesn’t need to be emptied at least every other day it smells just the same as any other box. I do like that I don’t have to scoop, the bags are very difficult to tie, but that’s solved by getting normal ones at the grocery store. The ones here are also not able to be shipped to CA, just FYI. The mat helps with the litter but it’s not a solution, I also have a litter rug next to it, there is still litter on my floor twice a day. If this was $300-$400 I could justify it simply because the outside is attractive and you don’t have to scoop, but don’t be fooled into thinking this will solve your issues. If you like a cat and and clean house, this isn’t a cure all.

Amazing, probably buying a 2nd one!
I would say, I would 100% get this litter box. It’s great in so many ways, it controls the odors, the app is nice-ish (very simple), and most importantly no more scoping my cats litter. Also it’s nice to look at. But maybe I was expecting the waste container to not fill up so fast, I own 2 female cats. And every 3 to 4 days I need to empty the container cause it says it’s full. But maybe that’s a me issue But honestly I have no real complaints. Also the litter mat is an amazing extra gift added on!

Got two! Potential Issue could arise…
Got two of these bad boys for my bad boys. They work great but above the litter robot they actually look great in my space. Way better design aesthetically. As for the cats, well they both took to it immediately. I think the entrance is inviting they seemed to like it better than my normal boxes. My only concern is the fabric inlay for the bottom of the barrel. This seems a lil sus. Hoping it doesn’t hold smell after a few months. Will report back if it does have issues there.

Does anyone test products before they sell them?
Hope you like your cat covered lightly in kitty litter. If their bodies touch the inside of the container they will have a light layer of litter on them. Great design?? The tray below the litter box is very small and has sensors in it. So every day to 2 days you will need to shake the tray so that the sensors don’t think it is filled. I put an old school litter box next to it when I go on vacation because you can count on this litter box thinking it’s filled when barely anything is in the tray. I only have 2 cats. I have had to scrape wet poop off the side walls a few times. Returning this huge box will be fun

I took a long time to research different automatic litter boxes and the aesthetics of this box in particular really got me! It looks great in person and all the accessories are also nice. When I first received it, it was very easy to install and get working- the package box was huge but it’s super lightweight! It was also very quiet when cleaning. The app is easy to use. Unfortunately, there are a few cons to this product… It does have an issue with retaining odor, despite the deodorizor it comes with and using other air purifiers on top of it. The waste compartment gets full pretty quickly. I began to get an Error 06 after only about a month, and despite the videos on how to fix it, it persisted. It also was not cleaning as efficiently anymore and became a bit noisier… I believe the motor was beginning to deteriorate? I also don’t like the waste bags too much, as they are very stiff and the drawstrings don’t close up very well. Despite this, PAWBBY customer service has been pretty amazing and responsive. They follow up on your questions within at least a few hours or a couple days. They are sending me a new part to install for free with an easy to follow video and a gift to make up for the inconvenience. Here is to hoping that it will solve my issue… A tip to possibly not run into the same problem- use natural litter (ie pine, walnut, grass seed etc) rather than bentonite clay, as I believe the clay doesn’t work as well with the cleaning. I switched to clay to combat the odor, which works well in that regard, but the drawback is that the barrel would get stuck compared to using natural litter. Clay also seems to fill up the waste compartment faster since it doesn’t spread very well due to harder clumps.

INCREDIBLE, best purchase ever!
I’ve always wanted a cat litter robot, but our place is tiny and no offered a size that would fit. Not to mention all of the designs are hideous and bulky. Not Pawbby! This sleek design is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional. Not to mention quiet! Please sell the litter mat separately, I love that too and want to buy another one! Their support team is responsive and helpful. Setup was a breeze. Packaging was fantastic and arrived undamaged. Wish there was a way to remotely reset it when we are out of town, but other than that absolutely flawless!

Amazing Product, loved it, Worth every Penny 💕
Amazing automatic litter box got this Jan 11, 2024. The product is well packaged when you open the box, the entire drum is wrapped with packaging & the product front/back/top/bottom very well protected for shipping, very impressed. It’s like unwrapping a gift for Christmas. The product is very well made in structure, very sturdy in the frame/structure better than the brand Meowant. This Pawbby doesn’t get stuck, it rotates well, OMG this has more features, and this is without using the app. It’s easy to clean. I have 2 girls and 1 male cat’s, My picky girls are happy they don’t have to cover up their brother’s messy poops no more. Love how it reminds me when to change the bag every other day, I can go at least 3 days, or 4 if I level out the poop before sensors go off with reminder of having to change out the bag. Regarding the odor, the beads that come with does wonders, with help from Walmart Arm & Hammer Cat litter Deodorizer that I use inside the drum, and Cat Lavender Crystals does the trick. Updates later.

It smells!!! BEWARE ODOR
The product doesn’t retain the smell well. Several of times now I have walked into my house and it reeks. Despite me changing the bag even more so than the machine tells me to. Also, although it’s aesthetically pleasing keep in mind that the space it self is still pretty small and the litter will fall out and get on the floors. Lastly, the wifi connection has been very spotty so I don’t have access half the time. Which for me personally, defeats one of the reasons I got it, which was to monitor remotely. With that being said, I am heavily considering returning this product. Definitely test it out first and read other reviews before buying.

Best Automatic Litter Box So Far
I LOVE this litter box. I have 4 fur babies and this is my 3rd attempt at an automatic litter box and is by far the best. Not only does it look really cute and stylish, but it’s so simple, works really well, very easy to clean, and the cats like it. I have four litter boxes (3 auto) and they by far prefer this one. I’m planning on getting another one eventually. I would say well worth the spend. You can use regular trash bags once you run out of the provided ones.

Well worth the $$ to splurge on getting the right box. I’ve had cats for years and have scooped and had litter genies (which are amazing too), yet so tired of having multiple boxes for two cats and litter all over the house. I vacuumed constantly and scooped two boxes all the time. A coworker told me to try an automatic box. I searched and reviewed for awhile. When I found this unique looking box, it caught my eye. In further review Inhad to try it! It took two days for me to transition my two cats to this one box. So easy! So clean! No litter all over the house and SO much LESS work for me. They love getting a clean box and I love being able to see which cat has gone, in the app. I can track who is using it and how often based on their weight. The box will stop cleaning if a cat get near it, which is fine with me. I have one cat that loves to watch it and he’s figured out he needs to sit further back or it will stop. There is no smell at all and I have it in the corner of my bedroom. It is so quiet that I sleep right through the cleaning phase in the AM. I have zero regrets and many thank you’s for this buy. Spend the money on it, you’ll love it.

Great Automatic Litter Box BUT Doesn’t Seal Smells Well
Great automatic litter box which makes scooping easier, however we really can’t go more than 3-4 days without throwing out the entire waste basket because the smell still goes through. Makes sense since the waste drawer isn’t fully sealed. And Deodorizer pod doesn’t help that much. Litter Box sits in guest bathroom which starts smelling after day 3, so now have to work on getting air freshener for that room. Still a good product, just not as smell proof as advertised, so 3.8/5 stars.

Pretty but it stinks!
The box is beautiful. Works fantastic and my 7lb and 14lb cats use it all the time. The app tracks their uses and sends notifications. The only downside is the smell. It does nothing to contain the odor. The box cane with a small container filled with those watery scent beads. They don’t do anything to help, so I’m left to change it often which defeats the purpose of buying it. I’m disappointed because other than the smell it’s great.

Cat approaching warning since I first plugged it in
I have tried and tried to move this to an open space, at first I thought it might be that I was too close when I was pressing the touch screen, but when I walked around back, still nothing. I’ve unplugged, reset, restarted, reregistered, all to no avail. It looks nice sure. It might be a great product, it is quiet for the 2 second it starts to auto level then errors out. I might have gotten a lemon but i am frustrated beyond belief for a $700 CAT LITTER BOX. It made me feel horrible as it was a gift I gave for Christmas that simply doesn’t work. Still waiting to hear back from the company. I would not recommend. (I will update immediately if anything changes)

Game Changer
I’ll be honest, I got my first cat and decided to go top of the line right away because I didn’t have to have to deal with litter boxes. This works just as advertised and so easy and convenient. After 2 weeks I change the bag and it’s that easy! I do clean it monthly to make it look brand new again, but once a month is way better than having to scoop daily!!! I used the clumping litter and you honestly can’t smell a thing until you get close to that two week mark and it’s ready to change. However I just switch to Pretty Litter last night so I’m eager to find out if it works well with it too. Pretty litter doesn’t smell at all! I have a separate open non automatic little box up stairs with pretty litter in it and I’ve never smelled anything once! So hopefully it works well in this! The size of the machine is great and I def think it’s worth the money! It’s super easy to clean and easy to put right back together. Love how you can track how many times your cat has used it per day too!

Getting somebody to feed the cats is not always such a big deal scooping Kitty litter is always a little bit trickier (plus we don’t want to do it ) that’s when I decided to try the Pawbby smart Kitty litter box. Since my wife will not have anything that looks like a Kitty litter box in any part of the house that people will see I needed to this solved that problem.The Pawbby is very elegant looking and it’s something that you could keep anywhere in your house, like a piece of furniture which is what drew me to this originally. The product was extremely easy to set up with no tools needed basically had to do was to plug in the system. The app itself took a few times to get working correctly but with fairly easy enough to get sorted out. My came with extra bags and a deodorizer right out-of-the-box . I believe I have enough supply to last me at 3-4 months (ill get back to you ). The app is cools since it will tell you want you when you need to change the bags/litter or the deodorizer . The app itself can either set it up to clean automatically after a certain amount of time or allowed me to clean manually right from my phone. The app was able to load in for both cats and by matching them up with their weights (which the litter box will tell you when they are in-box Nice feature))This allow you to determine which one was using the box and when . This was a very nice since in the past one of my cats had uniary track issue that we were able to discern by discovering how often it was going to the bathroom, going forward this will flag that!!!! My biggest Fear is that the cats would be uncomfortable using the box but after some gentle coaxing they both seem not to have an issue. The box will notified me when my cats are approaching and know if there is a cat in the litter box preventing any unwanted cleaning for the cats safety . The cleaning cycle if fairly quick and not to loud afterwards all you have to do is pull out the bag The app also gives helpful hints So far so good and I would highly recommend it

I’ve been using this product for a few weeks now and my cats have all started using this one, ignoring the others I have around. They love it. I like the information I get from the app – you can enter information of your pets and then the app alerts you when they use the box. You can also clean it and such from the app. It was easy to set up, and this set comes with bags and a litter mat, which makes clean up easy. The scent pod that comes with it also helps, I don’t smell the waste in there. I’m really liking it!

I have never had anything like this before for my cat! This self cleaning litter box has definitely made my life easier. I was worried that my cat would be afraid of it because she is 15, stubborn and pretty set in her ways. I was wrong. The first night I set it up she used it within hours with no problem. Set up was easy but I did have some issues getting it connected to my WiFi. I called the customer service number after hours (I did not leave a message). I eventually ended up getting it to work on my own. A lady from customer service noticed that I called and called me back the next morning to see if I needed help. How is that for customer service! App works great, very quiet when cleaning and is totally a game changer if you have cats!! So happy with my purchase and I highly recommend!

Awesome automated litter box
It is a very stylish Litter box that upon first seeing I thought was a fancy speaker for a surround system. We are keeping it in our office, but I could see having this even in a higher traffic area due to its sleek and modern design. It’s by far the best-looking Smart Litter box on the market in my opinion. Setup was breeze with the included directions. Connecting with the app was easy enough. Once connected to the app it is pretty straight forward to use. We have 3 cats and the fact that the box weighs the cats which allows the user to input the cat names matching the weight is a great feature. This allows the user to keep track of how many times an individual cat is using the box to track health concerns. In fact we discovered one of our cats was using the box up to 14 times a day. The app notified us and informed us to do a health inspection on said cat. I love this feature. I’ve had no issues with the app updating and have not experienced any glitches. I’ve been very pleased with its design and functionality. As far as the functionality of the actual box I am also very impressed. It cleans after the cat automatically and does a thorough job which eliminates all the smell and irritation of a standard litter box. The unit is relatively quite while cleaning and is not distracting or bothersome. I was concerned it would not be able to keep up and maintain with multiple cats using the same box. Again, the box knocked my expectations out of the park for its actual ability to self clean the litter. Additionally, it helps save a great deal on the amount of litter that needs to be added to the box. The fact that I don’t have to buy expensive litter for the box is a huge plus. Once the waste compartment is filled the box or app will notify user to change the waste out. The bags that are provided for the waste compartment work perfectly and make removing waste and adding a clean bag super convenient. The addition of the deodorizer is also welcome. I have zero complaints about the product and would strongly recommend this Smart litter box to anyone with a cat or multiple cats.

As soon as the automatic cat litter box arrived, our curious cat immediately began circling around it and even climbed in to investigate. It took me about 5 minutes to set up the device by myself. It comes with instructions, but it’s mostly self-explanatory. The infrared settings are very sensitive, providing a safety feature that prevents the cat from getting stuck – a detail which is of utmost importance to me. The machine operates incredibly quietly, and its sensor works great, stopping the machine if either me or my cats approach it. There’s also no need for separate weighing. The litter box automatically records when the kitten uses it. The app interface is very user-friendly. It quickly sends a notification to my phone, informing me which cat used the box and when they did so. It truly is incredibly convenient.

I primarily bought because I liked the aesthetic; it fits right in and doesn’t make it super obvious I have a cat toilet in my living room. It was so marvelously simple to set up and I love the notifications. All is very, very user friendly. It’s of high quality and really works like a charm. My one major drawback is that it has not contained the smell at all (it’s bad) but I have two cats who prefer this over the other litter boxes in the house so it gets high traffic. It’s easy to dismantle and clean and I’m hopeful maybe I just need to get the right litter to help improve the smell situation because I love this thing otherwise. I’ll buy another one if and when I solve the stink.

I debated on purchasing such an expensive automatic cat litter box but decided to try this one and the Kungfupet. I just started using it and so far I noticed big differences. Pros – Setup time was easy and quick. The directions were self explanatory and easy to follow. – The litter flattening fundtion is perfect. The other brand doesn’t have this feature and didn’t know I needed it until I noticed how the litter stayed ina mountain in the back of the box. – The look of the box is perfect. My She room is with blues, gold and pastels and the box has a grayish blue tint with faux wood-grain look and brushes gold legs. Very modern looking with clean lines. – It is very quiet. I could have put this unit in my bedroom with how quiet it is. You forget it is there. – Love having the reset function where you can dump all of the litter and start over. – Perfect size that sits neatly and inconspicuously in the corner of the room. And carry handles and conveniently located on both sides of unit making it easy to move around and try different locations until you find the perfect spot for it. Cons: Price and no step. LOOKS, SAFETY, APPLICATION, SCOOPING ALL BAD. NOT WORTH $600. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
I purchased this cat litter using my own money and am not affiliated with the company or brand in any way or fashion. I am a cat owner of many years who has tried many many automatic cat litter brands. Review Updated 09/01/2023 This is a cat automatic scooping litter box machine that costs $600 and advertises itself as being worth that price point due to the aesthetic quality, superior safety, app usage, and the most important function of scooping litter. In the few weeks that I’ve had the displeasure of being stressed trying to make this product work, I have found out that all 4 aspects (looks, safety, app, and scooping) are all bad and this is ultimately not worth the headache, wasting your time, and risking your cats lives for a product that does not work 1. DEFECTS TO THE LID IS CONSIDERED NORMAL As I mentioned in my first review of this product, the first thing you see when you look at this litter box is obviously the top part of it and I was very surprised to see that my overly expensive splurge for the aesthetic of having a nice looking litter box, came with scratches and defects (see picture). I’ve been informed that the scratches and aesthetic issues on top of the lid of this $600 cat litter box is due to the lid material and the minor imprints, cuts, and issues due to the “injection molding process” is considered standard. What this boils down to is the aesthetic cat litter box for $600 is not aesthetic and will likely come with a manufacturing defect which the makers of the aesthetic cat litter box to be a “part of the process”. 2. MATERIALS UNSAFE FOR CATS + “SAFETY” STOP MALFUNCTION The product came with a mysterious toxic white powder already inside the litter box when I opened up the barrel. In addition to this mysterious powder being unsafe (and this already being a major red flag when I first opened up the product), the litter box continuously says that there is a cat approaching when there is no cat approaching. If you look at my picture, I am nowhere close to the “detection system”, zoomed in, and taking the picture from a side angle and it still says that there is a cat approaching. This means that my electricity is being wasted and also the litter is not being scooped as often as it should be. You might this, this could be human error, well I have the litter box set up in an area with 0 foot traffic and I’ve wiped the sensors clean to make sure they are free from any dust. 3. APP IS TRASH + TRACKING FUNCTION FOR CAT HEALTH IS BOGUS If you are trying to track your cat’s health and think this application will help you to do that for the superior price that it costs, you will be sorely disappointed. The app does not detect in sleeping mode when my cat goes to the bathroom or track this history at all. This means that I have no clue how many times during the night my cat actually went to the bathroom when the purpose of my getting a robotic cat litter was to track its health. OR I could deal with the litter box turning all night long just to track when my cat uses the litter box. The app has no feature to control by myself how much litter in the waste compartment box I think is “too full”, This means I keep having to change out the bag even as the clean litter is being put into the waste compartment even when the litter is below the “max line”. When I manually clean the litter box from the menu on the screen, it does not log this into the litter box history at all. There is also no instruction guide for the application, and features in the application that are not in the manual and have 0 explanation. I have very good wifi as I live in the middle of the city, and I’ve had connectivity issues with the litter box. Once I reconnect, all the history of when my cat went to the bathroom is not updated and reflected in the app, leading to inconsistent data. Lastly, not a critical issue compared to all of these other issues, but this app’s UX is very clunky and it is not clear at all how much personal information it takes from you as it asks for an email sign-up, connects to your wifi, wants your location, and tries to track your other app usage and history. 4. SCOOPING FAILURE WITH WASTING CAT LITTER AND WHY THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH AN ALREADY CUMBERSOME WASTE COMPARTMENT The waste compartment is a whole problem in itself in the design of the amount of litter that falls into the waste bin as well as actually lining and using the waste compartment. This litter robot continuously dumps clean litter, even when well below the “max fill line” into the waste compartment. (see picture of litter in the waste compartment.) This means that the litter box continuously is getting “fuller” with clean litter. I have included a picture of the amount of litter that gets dumped during cleaning. I am using Dr. Elsey’s cat litter, which is the most popular brand of clumping clay litter in the USA. There is also definitely no cat litter exceeding the max line. This wastes the litter liners you need to get to fit into this box as it detects how much “weight” is in the cat litter box and this determines when it decides to no longer automatically scoop. What makes this worse is the fact that the litter liners need to be neatly pleated down on the sides of the litter waste compartment or else the machine will think that you have more clumps of litter inside of it already. Initial reaction & review: Aesthetic & Packaging: I splurged on this automatic cat litter because it was supposed to be superior quality and aesthetics. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and the inside drum and found a mysterious toxic looking white powder that smells like arsenic sitting inside the litter box. I am extremely suspicious as I don’t know what the powder is and had to clean it up using a mask and gloves. While I expect to have to clean something when it arrives, I don’t expect it to come with a potentially toxic chemical powder. Next, I noticed a plastic scrape on the top of the litter box that was there before I opened it. It does not come off no matter what cleanser i used. Sure, if I was paying under $100, this wouldn’t be an issue but the whole point of this box is that it is supposed to be an attractive litter box. And the top part which is the most immediate part that you see, came to me already defective and damaged. I am extremely disappointed by the aesthetic and will have to see how it compares to other similarly priced litter boxes when it comes to the actual usage.

I downloaded the phone app for this litter box and the connection was smooth. Navigation in this app is pretty easy, and a lot of options are customizable (auto clean frequency, sleep mode, etc.). This litter box can also identify different cats by weight, which makes it great for multiple-cat families. As someone who needs to go to the office, I can easily monitor my cats’ bathroom activities through the app. My two cats are very happy with their new litter box and are using it every day. My female cat is happier since my male cat doesn’t bury and she always had to do it for him but not anymore:)

It can record the number of times the cat went to the toilet and judge which cat went to the toilet according to the cat’s weight. The sensor of the product is very sensitive and can stop cleaning when a cat is close to or using the product to prevent harm to the cat. This product can clean up cat droppings. The cat’s feces will be collected into the dustbin at the bottom of the product, and when the trash box is full, it will automatically push a message to remind me to my phone. All I need to do is dump the excrement in the trash can and replace it with a new garbage bag. The product is also equipped with a deodorant box containing deodorant, so even if the product is not fully enclosed, it will not cause indoor odor. And the deodorant box is installed out of the reach of the cat to effectively prevent the cat from eating by mistake. App design is cute and easy to get started with. Worth the money.

Stylish Auto Clean Litter Box – A Must Have
The media could not be loaded. I brought in this stylish self-cleaning cat litter box for my 14 years old cat as I was planing to travel out of town for couple days. I was surprised that how easy it was to install this litter box, connect it to wifi and configure the mobile app. When litter box was ready, my cat got interested and started to walk around it. (Hopefully she would learn to use it soon) I am very excited about the mobile app which allowed to control the litter box remotely and monitor my cat’s bathroom habits. The odor control feature is another big plus. In terms of the price, though it is above average price for auto clean litter boxes, it’s worth every dollar.
