The media could not be loaded. I noticed a lot of the bad things people were saying in the reviews had been fixed. I was able to easily move it into tight spaces and it turned right and left! It cleaned my floor better than any other vacuum I’ve had. You do have to empty it every 1 or 2 uses so far. I’m guessing that will be less the more and more you use it. I have no problems getting it to stand on its own. The bottom of it you can detach and take it to the stairs. It makes it a lot easier than just carrying the whole vacuum and it just stands there for you. I love this vacuum. It was a great deal for such and amazing working cleaning machine!
We bought this after seeing multiple people say they had thick/ shag carpet and it worked well for them. Well that was not the case for us! The vacuum legitimately sucked in our carpet and would not move. So it was powerful but when you have thick/plush carpet, that doesn’t work. Therefore if you have very thick carpet, it likely won’t work for you either.

Dust cup came prefilled
I ordered this vacuum and it said I was getting one that was not refurbished. I opened my package this afternoon and after unboxing, I noticed the vacuums dust cup came prefilled with dust and other people’s hair for me. I don’t have a problem with refurbished products but if I spend the money on something that is supposed to be brand new, I expect it to be brand new. Save your time and energy if you want a brand new product and go to the actual Shark website, like I wish I would have.

I have been buying eureka brand but they are all defective on the suction and the customer service is terrible. Not perfect but a great bang for the buck
This is not the best vacuum machine but it is strong, does a good job and is inexpensive. This is my second one. My first shark vac was free because I bought a few appliances at Best Buy and they gave me some store credit which I bought a shark vac with. I had it for 5 years of service and it still worked well. What I like: – Strong suction and beater – great price – easy empty – simple to clean What I don’t like: – short hose when using attachments – on some carpets it can be difficult to move (esp for elderly) Overall, this is a good machine, gets the job done, but it is not the rolls royce of vacuums, it is more like a small toyota pickup. Even though the machine is not 5 stars (probably 4) I am giving it 5 stars because of the price. It is hard to get much more bang for the buck than a shark vac. great value : 5 stars

WOW, I knew our old vacuum wasn’t getting the job done properly but a day after receiving my shark NV360 I assembled and ran across our rug a few times and was horrified at what it picked up. I can say in a good way that boy this thing really sucks! This is the 9th vacuum I have purchased in the last 14 years! I have had 3 Chow Chow dogs in that time! It literally is a full-time time job keeping up with the shedding. This vacuum is far superior to any of the name brand cleaners I’ve tried! The suction power is great, it’s light weight, and so easy to use (I’m 70 years old).

Small canister, short cord, but good power
Great vacuum. Lightweight, great suction, love how the top and canister pop off for hand held cleaning use. BUT. It has a very tiny canister that must be emptied after every single room (or half a room for larger spaces), and a VERY short cord. The attachments easily fall off their storage area because of gravity. Poor design. NOT good for large dogs with lots of shedding because the canister is so tiny. I have to wash the filter after every single use, then wait for it to dry. And, emptying the canister into my outdoor trash bin makes such a mess! And I swear we are not dirty people – we are a shoes off household living in a ~1700 sq foot home. This vacuum would be best for small spaces with 0 animals. I missed the return window by one day, but I need something bigger and with a longer cord. Might try to sell it locally and upgrade… 🙁

Best vacuum ever. This vacuum sucks up more dirt, detritus, and dust that I could can even imagine. Even when my carpet looks clean to the eyes, running this vacuum over it pulls up hidden dust, dirt, threads, etc. Has both a floor and carpet settings. Handle disconnects from body for stairs or hard to reach places. Collection container is easy to pop off, empty into garbage from the top and bottom, and then reattach. Easy to change filters. This is the second one I’ve had and I also bought one for my daughter. I have two dogs in the house and you don’t see dog hair in the corners or behind doors even with vacuuming once a week. It’s not heavy and stands upright and fits in the front hall closet. This is the only vacuum I will ever buy. Definitely a great value and holds up over years of use.

The good: suction is amazing on my carpet. I have 2 dogs who shed an insane amount and this thing gets the job done. It works on my stairs really well too. I kept it for these reasons! The bad: the suction is so strong that I can’t vacuum any of my rugs. It thinks it’s clogged so I have to turn it off and back on any time I go over a throw rug. My throw rugs aren’t the kind with a flimsy base, they have a rubber bottom that lay flat and don’t slide, but even on the lowest suction setting it’s way too powerful.

This is our Second Shark Navigator Lift-Away ADV, first one gave us about 7 years of faithful service and it worked like a Champ till its last day. It does not loose suction power over the years. It is not expensive and this thing makes vacuuming fun lol. After trying the new one since our old baby had to be retired, Boy I have to say they have made some improvements. On Barefloor, it works amazing but even more amazing now as rollers seem to do some of the help besides the suction to get dirt and pet hair on hard floors beautifully. On Carpets, my Gosh it’s a Beast! You don’t have to force this thing, just ride it and enjoy cleaning your house. It sucks some much crap out of the carpets it’s unbelievable how much dust and stuff hides in what seems to be clear carpets! Enjoy Vacuuming with this beauty!
