The media could not be loaded. I noticed a lot of the bad things people were saying in the reviews had been fixed. I was able to easily move it into tight spaces and it turned right and left! It cleaned my floor better than any other vacuum I’ve had. You do have to empty it every 1 or 2 uses so far. I’m guessing that will be less the more and more you use it. I have no problems getting it to stand on its own. The bottom of it you can detach and take it to the stairs. It makes it a lot easier than just carrying the whole vacuum and it just stands there for you. I love this vacuum. It was a great deal for such and amazing working cleaning machine!
We bought this after seeing multiple people say they had thick/ shag carpet and it worked well for them. Well that was not the case for us! The vacuum legitimately sucked in our carpet and would not move. So it was powerful but when you have thick/plush carpet, that doesn’t work. Therefore if you have very thick carpet, it likely won’t work for you either.

Fragile everything breaks
This is the completion of 1yr with the vacuum. Have replaced brush on bottom,2 belts, 4 filter replacements, hose coming from bottom going into brush compartment broke (duck taped), also the hose coming from tank to the handle broke so has JB weld/duck tape because I have toddler an he knocked the vacuum over so the hose breaks?

This is my second one. It says renewed, but mine was brand new in box. The first one I sucked up pool water with and well you’re not supposed to do that…. Long story! Hahahaha! Husband was drilling holes in aluminum deck and I didn’t want the metal shavings to go in the pool. The nozzle slipped and went in the pool. Should have used the shop vac… I know!! Extremely disappointed
Ordered this November 2024, was super excited… only to be disappointed. Extremely surprised that this is a top rated vacuum on Amazon. I find it extremely uncomfortable and bulky to use compared to an older Shark model I used to own. I have two carpets that the older model had no issue with cleaning but for some reason with this vacuum is SUPER SENSITIVE when it comes to carpets with *even slightly* longer strands–so frustrating. I regret buying this.

A really good vacuum – and it sure does suck!
I’ll admit I’m pretty hard on vacuums. With multiple floor surfaces (carpet and tile), getting a vacuum that works effectively on both can be a real challenge. Especially when you have the pack of dogs that I do. With 4 dogs living here (we used to have 5), there is, naturally, hair that will ball up like tumbleweeds if you don’t somehow get it off the floor. But it’s the dirt that was really getting to me. Sometimes I swore I had more dirt inside than outside. Dirty paws are hard to avoid, and that accumulates to the point of . . . disgusting. My previous vacuum was also a Shark, but it was one of the corded stick-type models. I thought it was doing a decent job until I could literally see the dirt remain on the tile floor while it was in operation. In absolute frustration, I realized I needed a new vacuum – NOW. Luckily, my housekeeper was here that day, and since she cleans multiple houses and has been exposed to the functionality and ease of using certain models over others, I pulled up Amazon and asked for her expertise and guidance. She pointed me directly to this model. “You won’t be sorry.” OK, ordered it. Got it several days later. Easy assembly. A whole lot less noisy that my previous model. And power? Man, oh man, did it suck up junk that I didn’t even know existed. And it was easy to move around without being heavy! What more can you ask for? I am so glad I followed her advice and got this model. It works extremely well. Easy to empty since it has both a top and bottom release for the dirt canister. A duster or canned air gets out most of the junk if there is residue left behind after emptying. My husband also washed the canister and filters (make sure to let it air dry for at least 24 hours!) since it picked up a bunch of dirt that must have been lingering in my carpet for months. Yes, I’m revolted by the amount that apparently had been wedged in the carpet fibers for so long because my previous vacuum didn’t have the power to get it out. I am one happy camper now!

Nice for the price
I love the look however it is easy to tip over. When you put it back in the upright position, it wants to fall backwards. I love that it is lightweight and that it has the attachments I do not like that you have to unhook the class to remove the canister. I have another shark sweeper that I am replacing with this one because the canister broke on my other one. The other one is better because is easier to remove the canister. Also, when you are dumping the canister, the contents get stuck inside because of the way the canister is made. You have to use a paper towel to get the contents out or something flat to rub against the inside of the canister. I also don’t like how you have to remove the hose to clean baseboards. You only have to push a button on my other shirt, but this one does not have a button to release the wand. I probably would not recommend this sweeper, but for the price it is OK.

I am very frustrated and dissapointed. My boyfriend got this vaccum and loves it and after all the good reviews, I decided to get one. As soon as we got it out of the box we noticed it was moving very weird and the pieces didnt click together. I used it once and the second time I tried, it started smelling like something was burning and it stopped working. Thats it, thats my great experience. What am I supposed to do now?!

Pros and cons of this vacuum
The pros of this vacuum is the suction is incredible and I cannot believe how much dirt I got out of my carpet… Even after using my old vacuum first for quite a long time. I was honestly surprised. So yes the section is great it picks up well it’s fairly easy to empty. The cons are that it’s quite messy when you open or when you lift I should say the little container to enter empty trash it gets quite dusty it’s dusty on top it just just kind of a mess easy to empty though. A little bit of cleanup is worth literally getting the suction and the dirt out of your carpet. Easy enough to maneuver however does not work on l long shag carpet as it sucks it up and gets literally jammed. I had read that it did not do this it was I had a little disappointment but it’s okay I will use my old vacuum for that. It picks up dust and debris off kitchen and dining room floors well don’t expect it to pick up large things. I didn’t expect that either way I just am saying it will not pick those things up like large cereal or something of that nature. This vacuum only comes with two attachments a little bit on the cheap side one I believe is for pet hair I’m not certain and the other is just a very small attachment for crevices. For the money I expected just a little bit more but I am still very satisfied with the suction how much dirt it picks up you just need to put the work in to keep it clean and make sure you clean your brushes after you’re using them otherwise they get entangled with the hair that they grab out of the carpet. Oh also you need to have your power adjusted to number one or the first click for hardwood floors and if you want to have your brush actually work you need to have it pushed all the way to number two the second setting. The first setting will not allow the brush to drop down. Just a little hint. The vacuum head is very small and you end up vacuuming a little bit more but again it’s worth it for me to get dirt out of my carpet kind of a germophobe.

Brush roller stopped working after only a few uses.
Brush roller stopped spinning and there is no way to open the unit to check the belt or electrical contacts for the switch. Threw it in the garbage.

The vacuum is good and does a great job. Some features I wish I had thought about that this model doesn’t have such as mode on the handle and easier to separate to make it portable. The cord is shorter than I was used to. Just check features before ordering any vacuum.

Really picks up lint
It definitely does a good job but there are a few things I’m not crazy about. It’s pretty heavy to carry upstairs. The stepper to make it go on an angle rather than upright is a little tough to use. Maybe I just have to get used to it. Overall I think it’s a good one.

Roller issue with pets
At first I absolutely loved the vacuum. Then the brush roller gets so full of hair so quickly and is very difficult to remove it. I am cleaning off the roller every week. I do have a dog but previously had 2 and never had this issue with any other vacuum. Sure eventually they all need to be cleaned but this is excessive. If I would have realized this I would have gone with one that has a self cleaning roller.

So far works great. We’ve always had a Kirby vacuum after 27 years it died. So I thought we give this one a try. The only thing I miss is the transmission! This one is a lot lighter than the Kirby…Kirby’s are heavy. Powerful suction Hard to push on higher pilling carpet…..I played with the opening to adjust the suction to the lowest, still hard to push. Works fine on lower-pilling carpet and wood and tile floors. I was shocked at the hard it pulled out of my carpet…. I was disappointed that it only came with 2 accessories no long attachments. And no bag. I’ll be using parts from my Kirby. I haven’t removed the bucket to clean yet. I sure it will work fine. Hope this last long like my Kirby, but for under $200 I can’t complain.

The cord is in a bad spot, I have to keep holding it out of the way, the suctioning valve keeps moving making it impossible to push across the carpet, it’s way too complicated to take apart the canister, just a poor design and quality. Big disappointment, should have had a longer return time as I was sick and unable to try it after it arrived. I hate it.

Good vacuum easy to turn
This has a lot of suction, we pulled up quite a bit of dirt from our carpet the old sweeper did not get. The head swivels well. The pull off is a nice feature but a little awkward. My wife did not like the height of the handle and it is not adjustable. Goes forward easily, going backward is a little more work. Slightly noisy but probably because of the heavy vacuum.

Trashy Quality All Around
Six months in and the carpet brush will no longer spin. It’s free of debris wrap. Went to see what was going on and shark replaced phillip head screws with specialized security Torx screws. So I can’t even try to fix it without specialized bits. We had a Shark for almost a decade prior to this purchase and it was a champ! Sold me on the brand. Not built that way anymore. Trash. These vacuums are common man’s prices, and to take our ability to fix something away without specialized Torx screws pisses me off! Buy something else and don’t waste your time or money.
