The media could not be loaded. I noticed a lot of the bad things people were saying in the reviews had been fixed. I was able to easily move it into tight spaces and it turned right and left! It cleaned my floor better than any other vacuum I’ve had. You do have to empty it every 1 or 2 uses so far. I’m guessing that will be less the more and more you use it. I have no problems getting it to stand on its own. The bottom of it you can detach and take it to the stairs. It makes it a lot easier than just carrying the whole vacuum and it just stands there for you. I love this vacuum. It was a great deal for such and amazing working cleaning machine!
We bought this after seeing multiple people say they had thick/ shag carpet and it worked well for them. Well that was not the case for us! The vacuum legitimately sucked in our carpet and would not move. So it was powerful but when you have thick/plush carpet, that doesn’t work. Therefore if you have very thick carpet, it likely won’t work for you either.

FALLS OVER!
First, the good news is that the suction on this vacuum is very good. It has great suction on both carpet and hardwood floors and the canister is easy to empty. It also has good maneuverability. For these reasons I’d like to rate it higher. However, this vacuum CONSTANTLY tips over when using the hose. It is HORRIBLE! it has gouged my walls and furniture not while attempting to stretch a great distance, but at 2′-3′. It has also slammed into the top of my foot more times that I can remember! I’m sorry to say the negatives far outweigh the positives on this vacuum. It sucks dirt and it sucks that it the hose is too short for the weight of the machine. Boo!

Out suck’s my Dyson, this vacuum cleans the carpet like no other vacuum I’ve had. It is light weight and compact. Things I don’t love is that it tips over when you’re using the hose and that the attachments don’t stay on. The catch basin is on the smaller side but it’s easy enough to empty, just watch it.

So, I just got this and have used it once. It was pretty easy to assemble, although some parts have to be rotated to click into place. This isn’t mentioned in the instructions. The noise level is acceptable. Bagless vacs are always kind of loud, simply because of how they have to be designed. The suction is great, and there is a suction control dial on the handle to lessen the suction for deep pile carpet or throw rugs. Believe me, you’ll need it. Vacuuming my low pile carpet was a real chore until I discovered this feature. It is noticeably lighter than the 5 or 6 year old vac I’m replacing. Overall, a good vacuum.

Cord always gets in the way. It constantly locks back in the upright position. Vacuuming took twice as long because of fighting the vacuum. The hand held portion likes to spin when vacuuming the stairs. Not user friendly.

This replaced a Dyson and now I feel cheated that I didn’t buy a Shark instead of the Dyson a few years ago. The Shark outperforms the Dyson in every way possible. It cleans next to the base shoe better than any vacuum I’ve had. It’s versatile, extremely easy to move around, and cleans carpets and hard floors equally well. Excellent product

No Suction
After 4 1/2 years this upright has zero suction. Receptacle empty, brush clean and it picks up nothing. A waste of money as I didn’t even use that often. Would not recommend. My Eureka Mighty Mite, however, is amazing. Strong pull on suction, great machine.

Hard to use, doesn’t work well
This vacuum had good reviews and after 6 months I am deeply disappointed. The hose to the floor attachment disconnects too easily and isn’t always obvious. The effort on a rug to push the vacuum is ridiculous and it can’t be used at all on some rugs. And most recently it did not pick up leftover holiday sparkle bits from the wood floor, or the rug. I wound up using my stick vac which did just fine. A big disappointment!

Too much suction power!
The suction on this vacuum is unbelievable! The reason I gave only 3 stars is because even when I adjusted the suction setting to the lowest setting it takes everything I have to push it. My home is mostly throw rugs and I have very little carpet. Because I don’t want to go through the hassle of sending it back I will have to pick up the vacuum and pull it a section at a time. The suction is just too much. Other than that it seems like it would be a great vacuum.

Be careful….Read the fine print
Should have looked at the negative reviews first before purchasing. Much like many others who purchased, this was like pushing a tank across our carpets. Did not even complete one room and had enough. Cleaned the unit out as best we could and repacked. Obtained a return authorization, shipped it back UPS. Couple days later received credit minus 50% restocking fee. OK, sent them seller a message and asked where the return stocking fee was listed. That’s their return policy for anything opened. Mind you now my wife hurt her wrist trying to push this thing and when I tried it after I got home, no way this vacuum was going to be used here. So, take my word if you don’t mind pushing a brick uphill, this will be fine for you. Just check on many returns to find the return policy as it is buried in a few clicks to find. Can’t really be mad at Amazon, but when there is specific criteria on a product return , list that up front. Not just 30 day return / replacement.

Shark sweeper review
It picks up hair well on carpeted and hardwood floors. However it does not do well on rugs. Every time it gets jammed and stuck in the rugs and turns red. So then I have to turn it off and back on for it to spin again.

Best vacuum I’ve ever owned, with a few bruises
I just figured out I’ve had this vacuum for 7 years! It works as well as it ever has! Super strong suction. It works really well on hard floors which is why I bought it, and on carpet. The main brushroll stopped working last year but I was able to fix it myself just tinkering. It’s a really great vacuum. I would never buy another brand if I ever have to buy a vacuum again! My only complaint is that the accordion hose part is so tightly coiled that it’s really easy to pull the whole vacuum over onto yourself while using the wand if you stretch it too far. Really great quality item overall.

Worst Vacuum Ever Owned
Stays charged for about ten minutes then dies and needs to be recharged for hours. I can’t even vacuum one room without it dying, starting at a 100 percent charge. Falls over constantly so you always have to prop or lean it against something. Power is okay for the half a room I get to vacuum before it dies. Then you get to wait a few hours before you can vacuum the other half of the room . Worst purchase ever. Regret it so much.

Shark Still Getting Used To
This is my 5th or 6th Shark in the past 10 years. I like the fact that no bags are needed and the filters are easy to clean. (we have vacation rentals that a few have been delegated to) I don’t like this model as well as some of my older models, primarily because of the way the hose detaches in order to reach higher areas or to attach the small pointed nozzle for cleaning furniture. There is too much of a curve and it’s very awkward. As much as I prefer not to purchase a renewed model, I will likely try one in the future, but keeping the new one I just purchased. I will say that the suction on a new vacuum cleaner is amazing! Note, though, that there will always be pros and cons to most purchases of anything.

Out of this world suction
In the words of a friend – this thing could suck the chrome off a bumper. I caught this puppy on sale and it has been the best purchase. It picks up WAY more dirt and pet hair than our previous Shark stick vacuum. It is still lightweight, versatile to use as a stick, canister or upright. For a little over $100, you cannot beat it.

Well, I don’t do reviews but this one is a must do in my opinion! First words… BUY IT! This vacuum gets 5 ⭐ from me for the suction it has. My carpets have probably never been this clean since 1 week after move in. See photo from one run in my bedroom on the lowest suction setting. I emptied canister and ran one more time on higher suction and it got even more up. Hopefully our allergies will be better with this purchase. I am very happy with it. We have berber carpet and low pile area rug and it works great on both. I also enjoy the removable canister for our staircase. Thanks Shark!

This is the single worst vacuum I have ever used. You have to use your full body weight to push it. I called shark to see if I was doing something wrong and was told that’s just how this vacuum is. “It’s got powerful suction”. No kidding. I’m surprised I still have any carpet. No thanks.

I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Easily the worst vacuum I’ve ever owned. It gets clogged somehow every 2 minutes and I’m not even doing any heavy vacuuming. I have to empty it out and clear the tubes just to vacuum my living room. I have a small apartment and i thought this would be perfect but i was wrong. I am going to buy another Dyson cause the old one finally died after i accidentally sliced the cord, otherwise after 4 years of daily use it was in pristine condition. NOT WORTH THE WASTE OF MONEY

Poor suction on bare floors
There is no suction the middle of the vacuum on bare floors. I got this for new flooring we had installed and I pick up more crumbs with my fingers than this vacuum does on bare floor setting. Theirs is a little suction on the sides, but I have tried cleaning filters etc and still no suction. However it works great on the new rugs installed, is lightweight and easy to move.
