The media could not be loaded. I noticed a lot of the bad things people were saying in the reviews had been fixed. I was able to easily move it into tight spaces and it turned right and left! It cleaned my floor better than any other vacuum I’ve had. You do have to empty it every 1 or 2 uses so far. I’m guessing that will be less the more and more you use it. I have no problems getting it to stand on its own. The bottom of it you can detach and take it to the stairs. It makes it a lot easier than just carrying the whole vacuum and it just stands there for you. I love this vacuum. It was a great deal for such and amazing working cleaning machine!
We bought this after seeing multiple people say they had thick/ shag carpet and it worked well for them. Well that was not the case for us! The vacuum legitimately sucked in our carpet and would not move. So it was powerful but when you have thick/plush carpet, that doesn’t work. Therefore if you have very thick carpet, it likely won’t work for you either.

No carpet height adjustment
The attachments fall off easily. My family used it with me reviews for a couple weeks. I used it for 15 minutes and boxed it up to return. Piece of garbage.

I have a different version but bought this for my Mother when hers broke. After three weeks of lugging mine over, she was sold even thought she likes canister vacuums. Her rugs looked great and the air quality was so much better. I dropped a star because the hose extender to do edges or ceilings stretches about 2 feet. You have to lift the entire unit to get to the ceiling webs and its a tiresome event, especially for an older person. If you forget this, you just keep stopping to pick the entire unit up from the floor. It falls over. Suction rocks though!

Only lasted 2 years
Although I usually love Shark products, this vacuum stopped working and we only had it for two years. It worked fine but it is heavy and stairs were a pain. I’m mostly disappointed that it only lasted 2 years. What a waste.

Love this vacuum
So I waited a while to give a review so I could used the vacuum more than once. This is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. The suction is great, it’s not too loud. I love how the wheels detached so I can sweep my stairs without having to lug the whole vacuum around. Reading the other reviews I do agree that the cord is too short. I have to unplug and plug it into another outlet when I’m vacuuming the back half of my apartment. But the quality of the vacuum makes up for that. Nothing an extension cord can’t fix. The double clips on the side of the dust collector are annoying but like I said the quality makes up for those inconveniences. Love this vacuum!

Let me start by saying that the brand loan is what drove me to buy this vacuum. I unboxed it finally after a very hectic weekend of parties and children, and you can imagine the cleanup, and I have been very disappointed. I am in the process of returning this because For the price it’s a joke. I had the Bissell vacuum cleaner and it just finally died on me and I will be going back To another Bissell.

Worst vacuum I have ever owned
It vacuums for 15-20 minutes and then it just stops working, and you have to let it cool down for 45 minutes to an hour. I’m so disappointed because our last shark bagless vacuum was awesome 😠 Unfortunately we bought it for a cabin and by the time I used it it was already a return date 🤬

I miss my Kenmore
To start off with, I had a Kenmore for at least 10 years, and I loved it! The only reason I got rid of it was because it was getting harder and harder to find bags for it. I chose this vacuum because of the brand and the ratings, but I miss my Kenmore. This vacuum is great on hard floors. I can’t complain about the suction. It picks up SO much dirt! We live on a lake and need something that will pick up a lot of dirt. This vacuum is a workout on carpet though. Maybe the strong suction makes it that way. I loved it until I had to vacuum carpet. Then I hated it. I’ll keep it, but I’ll never buy another one.

Overpriced, any tamper screws to inhibit you from deep cleaning your own vacuum. Flawed design with the emptying feature, requires you to dig your fingers into the bin. Claims it is a barefloor vacuum as well, it doesn’t suck up anything close to a corner or edge of a wall. Don’t waste your money.

Love it despite tipping over.
I recently purchased this great vacuum. It sucks strongly, gets lots of dirt and pet hair out of my carpets, pushes fairly easily compared to my Dyson and overall I am very pleased with it. I spent the first hour vacuuming my house…lots and lots of pet hair and dirt filled the canister numerous times. The canister was easy to empty. I used the motorized accessory to vacuum the cat tree and other pet items. Each time I used the wand to vacuum the entire unit fell over. Every time! I eventually used one hand to hold the canister and the other to hold the wand. This is definitely not ideal. Another thing I love about this vacuum is the width. My Dyson doesn’t fit in the space between the toilet and the wall. This one does!!! After emptying the canister several times in the hour it was time to put it away. I decided to rinse out the thick sponge that sits under the canister, since it looked filthy. When I lifted it out I realized it was a lot thicker than I had expected. It really could have gone for weeks before it needed cleaning. Great quality!! I washed it, dried it overnight and was back vacuuming again the next day! I love the vacuum so far. Only issue is that it tips over easily when using the wand. I hope this issue gets resolved before the next model gets released.

Suction Galore!
I have always had a very good-quality Hoover vacuum in the house and still do. However, it is over 30 years old and is the kind with a “Type A” disposable bag. At one point I wanted a lighter, bagless vacuum so I bought a Bissel which I thought was okay. Then came this one, the Shark NV360 Navigator. This thing is half the size of my Bissel or Hoover, weighs half as much, but holy cow. When I turned it on to use it for the first time, I was shocked at the power of its suction, SO much stronger than that of either of my other vacuums. A few times when I passed over some throw rugs, the suction was so strong that they sort of got caught up in the brush. That’s when the 2nd thing I like about this Shark happened…the brush automatically stopped rotating so that it wouldn’t pull anything unwanted up into the device. I love that it does that so that the motor won’t burn out or so that something inside the vacuum won’t break. What a great safety measure. So what am I trying to say here? Excellent vacuum with very powerful suction in spite of its small and lightweight size. I would highly recommend it. If I had to say anything negative about it, the only thing would be the fact that it doesn’t have a push-button retractable cord. Instead it has the usual cord you must manually wind around 2 hooks on the handle (like most vacuums have).

I’ve had other brands of vacuums and was never as happy as I was with Shark brands-so I came back. It’s easy and lightweight to use and does an incredible job of getting up the pet hair and anything else. It’s a terrific value for the money.

I’ve always had good luck with Shark vacuum cleaners over the years, but this one is a fail for me. On the plus side, the suction is phenomenal, on par with a Dyson (corded upright) Animal. However, that suction makes it extremely difficult to use on carpet. I threw out my shoulder trying to vacuum the bedroom carpet! I tried adjusting the suction collar, but it did not help at all. The dust cup is enormous which makes it impossible to vacuum even a couple inches under furniture because the dust cup protrudes out so far. Also the huge dust cup makes it hard to neatly empty it into a trash bin. Emptying the dust cup requires unlatching two buckles, which is inconvenient. I’ve ended up with a big mess each time I’ve emptied it. Thankfully, the last bit of carpet in my home is being replaced with bare flooring in a few weeks, and I will no longer need a corded upright vacuum, since my cordless Dyson can do everything I need. (I might just keep the “lift-away” portion of this Shark vac to use with attachments, and toss the rest of it). I have significant buyer’s regret about this purchase, and should have returned it.

First of all, this vacuum has terrific suction. That’s about it. It falls over easily when using the clunky attachments, and the cord is entirely too short. I am lazy and did not have the energy to return it. I will suffer until it dies.

I ordered this based off someone’s recommendation off Instagram. I am not impressed at all. It often kicks out stuff when vacuuming over it and vacuuming on rugs are impossible, even large area rugs that cover an entire room.

better suction than dyson but not maneuverable
Positive: -cheaper than Dyson -better suction than Dyson (as you can see in the picture) Negative: -not at all maneuverable -top heavy so when you’re using the wand, it keeps falling -like other reviewers, it doesn’t go underneath a lot of things such as tables, couch, bed -the handle is hard to pull when detaching it -doesn’t hold all 3 of the attachments on the vacuum -the handle just feels heavy when using the wand attachment -cord is so short that I had to attach an extension cord to it so I don’t have to keep unplugging and plug in a different socket. OVERALL I love the suction which is the best thing, you could see the tiny dust particles sucked into it but that’s basically it! Everything else about it is so annoying having to hold the whole thing while vacuuming with the wand. I just wish it be more user friendly. I don’t know if I want to return, maybe I will get used to it.

Although this is one of the loudest vacuums I own, it’s a very powerful product. Sucks up the dirt great. But a bit too powerful for freestanding area rugs even with the brush turned off. Good on bare floors and attached carpeting. Easy to move around. Recommend for most surfaces. Watch out on washable area rugs.

Stick with Dyson for the extra cost
Went from the Dyson ball to this. I definitely regret it but already used it and don’t want to return a dirty product. I would gladly pay the extra cost to get the Dyson again. The attachments are bad and not as easy to use. The vacuum itself is not as wide and doesn’t cover as much ground. It is louder than the Dyson, the cannister is not as easy to empty and the lift away feature is not as easy to use as advertised. It feels cheap, but you get what you pay for. Will definitely never buy again.

Glorious
When my old Shark broke I was so happy with it that I wanted another. I opted for this model as it looked like the newest version of my old one. Let’s just say my old vacuum has nothing on the new one. I’m amazed at how well it works. My 7-year-old carpet looked brand new after the first vacuum. The only downside is the new version doesn’t have a second handle for emptying the canister, having the second handle helped a lot. Otherwise, it’s a great vacuum and the white color makes me feel fancy.

Great suction
I have only used once this is my second navigator lift away and actually my fifth shark vacuum cleaner. I swear by the sharks, they are the best but my last one did not have an LED light when you took the hose out and this one doesn’t have one at all. I don’t know if I’m going to keep it. I’m going to try it again one more time, but I might return it for something with an LED light, a lot of dark spots in our house that I’d like to be able to see make sure I’m getting all the bunnies other than that great suction

Lots of annoyances
It picks up dirt beautifully, but there are lots of small annoyances. The accessory holder is wonky, just sort of sits on the handle and hangs and wobbles. Tips over very, very easily. Very short crevice tool, and the tools don’t snap in so they fall out. Nice to have the lift off feature. I can’t decide if I should keep it or send it back. Don’t love it.

The beater bar stopped working after the second use. It has been 2 months since purchased but after the 30 day return window. Amazon won’t refund or credit and want me to send the broken vacuum back to them it back for a $50 restocking fee.

Definitely a budget pick
The vacuum this is replacing a Shark NV752, which I bought 4 years ago. I don’t remember how much I paid for it. Now, it’s $300. This new one was on “sale” for $160, marked down from $220. Things I like about this new vacuum: The swivel works much easier than the one on the old vacuum did. The cord is nice and long. I vacuumed with the older one and went back over the same area with the new one, and I pulled up a fair amount of dust and carpet lint. The suction does feel quite strong, which is why I like Shark vacuums in general. Things I wish were different: No lights. The cannister needs to be unbuckled to remove it. The whole apparatus feels like it’s made of cheaper plastic than the NV752. There is only one carpet level, rather than the two on the older machine. The switch isn’t quite as convenient to reach. Since I now live in a very small apartment, this vacuum is adequate to my cleaning needs. But I’ll be a lot more careful to do my homework next time I buy a vacuum.

Wow, this thing sucks [in a good way)
I can’t believe how much this vacuum picks up. I thought my rug was clean until I used this. It is powerful yet lightweight. So far, I love it.

It works really well!
I just got the Shark NV360 (V5) and tried it on my carpets. It really works. Pulled up a lot of dirt, and the carpets look better. I like that there are two vacuum settings, one for hardwood floors and one for carpets (with brushroll on), and the cord is long enough to reach a pretty good area. It’s not too heavy or noisy, and putting it together was very easy.

Don’t gift it. Otherwise fine
Overall, this is a wonderful product. I gifted a new one to someone. When they got it, the spring that closes the top dirt container fell off and cannot be put back. Tried to initiate a refund but didn’t learn about gift recipient’s misfortune in the time frame to return (missed it by two weeks?!) so irritated about that. 💩
