The media could not be loaded. I noticed a lot of the bad things people were saying in the reviews had been fixed. I was able to easily move it into tight spaces and it turned right and left! It cleaned my floor better than any other vacuum I’ve had. You do have to empty it every 1 or 2 uses so far. I’m guessing that will be less the more and more you use it. I have no problems getting it to stand on its own. The bottom of it you can detach and take it to the stairs. It makes it a lot easier than just carrying the whole vacuum and it just stands there for you. I love this vacuum. It was a great deal for such and amazing working cleaning machine!
We bought this after seeing multiple people say they had thick/ shag carpet and it worked well for them. Well that was not the case for us! The vacuum legitimately sucked in our carpet and would not move. So it was powerful but when you have thick/plush carpet, that doesn’t work. Therefore if you have very thick carpet, it likely won’t work for you either.

Hard to push because head doesn’t adjust to carpet height
My home is mostly tile and this vac works great on those floors. The area rugs are a different story!!! This vac is a monster to push on the rugs. The head does not adjust for different carpet heights. I purchased a different brand after struggling for a few months.

First time user review
I unpacked this vacuum today and it took about five minutes to put together. This thing has a lot of suction compared to old vacuums I’ve owned. It’s not that lightweight contrary to what others say. It’s lightweight compared to a Kirby or commercial bag vacuums that weigh a ton. It worked great on my big brown area rugs that are taped down to my tile. It worked great on my tile with and without the brush going. However in my kitchen, it’s terrible on small rugs that are not taped down. With my old vacuums, I could stand on those rugs and still be able to vacuum them with the brush continuously spinning. With this vacuum, there is no adjustment to the height So when I try to use the brush on my small rugs, the brush stop spinning completely and basically doesn’t pickup dirt unless you have the brush working. Minus One star for not having an adjustable height for tall and short carpet. Minus One star for the brush not spinning on small area rugs and tall carpet. I used it on shag rug and it wouldn’t even pickup anything even when using the “vent” to reduce suction power. That vent is pretty much useless. The removable tank is very convenient to use for stairs or furniture. The wand handle is very convenient too.

I’ve had multiple problems with my unit. Have replaced the canister twice. Now I have a blockage in the handle that’s unsolvable and customer service says that the 5 year warranty does not extend to the handle. Garbage customer service and terrible design. Buy anything else but not a Shark and definitely not this unit.

Powerful, easy to clean, and puts my old vacuum to shame
I’m shocked at how easy this was to put together. I’m also horrified at how much came out of my carpet just a week after using my old vacuum. The suction on this vacuum is very strong, the canister is easy to empty, and the roller brush is easy to cut hair and thread off of. I haven’t had it long enough to need to rinse or change out the filters inside, but I did go through the instructions on how to access them and handle maintenance and it all seems very easy to manage. It’s very light and easy to pick up and move if necessary. The suction is strong enough that I found it a little more difficult to move back and forth while on, but if that means it’s just doing a good job then I’d toss that in the pro column as well.

AMAZING VACUUM
I bought this vacuum to replace my Dyson which still works, but, is on it’s last leg. I’m so happy that I did. This Shark works so well and actually made me so disgusted by how much dirt and pet hair I didn’t realize I had on my area rugs. So light and easy to use, along with having to detach the body from the base and vacuum up the stairs and in my Jeep. 100% recommend this product, you will not be disappointed.

I wish I had taken a picture of the amount of fur, dust, and dirt this vacuum picked up from my carpet. Thought I did such an amazing job that I FaceTime my parents to show them what an amazing vacuum this was. I had recently purchased a cordless vacuum, and it just was not doing the job, I feel like my carpets were not being cleaned efficiently, I didn’t want to have a vacuum with a cord, but eventually settled on a corded vacuum because I thought it would do better with carpet. I stumbled upon this vacuum on Amazon and after reading the reviews I thought I’d give it a try. It was really easy to assemble. I didn’t even have to use the instructions , but I did have them handy to check and make sure I was doing everything correctly. I live about a 600 square-foot apartment. My apartment is not too big, but the amount of stuff I picked up was in immaculate. Instantly, I could hear it picking up stuff out of my carpet like dirt, sand whatever. After vacuuming one round the entire dust bin was 80% full! I knew my carpets were dirty, because I knew my old vacuum wasn’t doing the job, but wow this vacuum really sucks, and not in the bad way. I have not used the pick up feature, so I will update when I use that feature. The attachments are super nice and handy, I was able to get the edges of my baseboards to get all of the dirt and grime up. I also love that it has , a bare floor mode to use on my wood tile floors and then a brush for carpeted floors. I’m going to do a second round tomorrow and can’t wait to see the difference. I highly recommend this vacuum.

Sent a refurbished vacuum when it wasn’t advertised as refurbished
The vacuum has great suction on first use, but I was under the impression that I ordered a brand new vacuum. When I got the package it included a note that said it was a refurbished vacuum so it didn’t include the instructions. My last Shark lasted six years, so I was really hoping to get the same use out of this one. Not sure it will if it’s refurbished.

So far this vacuum cleaner is picking up everything I go over. It seems like a powerful vacuum for the price range. I have all hard floors and a couple very thin, durable rugs. The only possible downside I can think of is that it’s tough to get underneath some of the furniture because of the canister.

I recently bought this vacuum after reading customer reviews. I am very satisfied with it. It was easy to assemble, The handbook of instructions was helpful when I first used the attachments, and was appreciated by this novice. This vacuum has good suction and removes dog hair easily. It is easy to maneuver. And its design allows me to reach narrow spaces which I could not reach previously. As noted in one of the reviews, the cleaner leaves a small uplifting of the carpeting showing where it has cleaned. My only problem with the vacuum is when I used the attachment when vacuuming furniture. I found it somewhat unwieldy, but I attribute that to my unfamiliarty with the machine. Emptying the basket of debris is easy. I like this product and I’m happy with its purchase.

For left hand people
The design of the vacuum seems best for a left handed person. The setup is frustrating to reach the Wanda release with the intake next to it. The storage for the extra components are also in the way. On top of that, one is stored upside down. Always falls off when in use. The cord will not reach all the way in to a second room too. The power suction is good but the Wanda hose does not give and tips easily.

Impossible to push; very s-l-o-w to get refund
I would have selected zero Stars but it wouldn’t let me. I should have listened to all of the negative reviews- this vacuum was virtually impossible to push on my low pile area rugs. I called the customer service phone number and their only suggestion was to turn the dial to lessen the suction, which did nothing to improve my ability to push the vacuum. I initiated a return and according to Amazon they’ve had the vacuum back for a week with no refund issued. I had an old Shark Mavigator vacuum that I loved, after this experience I will never buy another one.

The Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe Upright Vacuum lasted about five months before it started to struggle. Now I can’t get the roller to turn at all, so it’s reduced to being a canister vacuum with a hose. I have a Bernise Mountain Dog, so I am constantly vacuuming up her hair balls. I know it can clog the spinner part – so I clean that regularly, too – but we’ve reached the point where it just doesn’t work, anymore. What a waste of $170! Now I have to buy ANOTHER vacuum, but I guess it won’t be a Shark!

Worst Vacuum In history of vacuums
I don’t think I could hate a vacuum any worse than this one. I wish I could give negative stars. The cord is so short that I can’t even vacuum a whole room without having to move the plug. The suction is absolutely terrible. It has a bare option for tile/wood floors but it “barely” works. If you are a female with long hair do not buy this vacuum because the moment it sucks up more than 10 hairs it will stop working and you have to remove them for the brush to begin working again. Sometimes it smells like burnt plastic but I can’t seem to find anything burning or melting. It was easy to put together, but it’s very heavy, and it’s very hard to push in the brush mode. Don’t even think of using it on stairs because you just might kill yourself. If you’re disabled this is a total nightmare and a complete fall risk. I wish I could return it but I’m stuck with it. Do not buy this worthless vacuum.

This vacuum cleaner in wonderful! The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the hose is very short. I realize you can take the canister off to use it, but I vacuum all my hard floors with the hose and long attachment. So, therefore it does not go as slick as my older shark vacuum, that I miss terribly. I vacuum often as I have pets. I would change the brush on my old one immediately if I could, but there aren’t many, if any, Sharks that can be replaced. So, 5th star, is very much missing my long hose and long attachments!

We upgraded from an earlier years model and the suction is amazing, easy to clean, only down side is doesn’t have a light.

This is the only sweeper I have used that caused me back pain. I hate this sweeper.
I had a heavy duty shark with tons of suction. It was heavy, but it never hurt my back! I just used this and I want to sit down and cry. This was like throwing money down the drain. Everything about it is difficult for me. It is small compared to what I had and loved. Until now, I didn’t know it was possible to have this kind of experience with a sweeper. Everything on this is low and the hose and lift away are such a pain to use. I have raved about Shark for years, but this is not the Shark I knew and loved. Very disappointed. This is the worst sweeper I have ever had. I wish I hadn’t used it. I would return it in a heartbeat. For anyone a little older, I do not recommend!

We’ve been struggling for a few years with finding a vacuum that works for us. Family of 5 with animals. Saw this vacuum on Prime Day and thought l, “why not can’t be any worse!”. I am sooooo pleased with this find and purchase. It handles all surfaces and various dirt and hair. Prior vacuums, we were CONSTANTLY cleaning the brush from long hair from my daughter and I and tibes were clogged from dog hair. We’ve been doing sweeping, dry mops and then regular vacuum to avoid hair clean outs. This vacuum delivers like the old school vacuums we had growing up. I just hope it lasts!!

Sharks are great
I own two Sharks. This and a cordless one for quick cleaning. This Navigator has more than enough suction power for everyday normal use. I don’t have any pets so this one works for me. I have a friend with some mega expensive Dyson. Honestly I don’t see how his vacuum is any better. Not for just normal use anyhow. And certainly not for the price Dysons go for. My only complaint about this vacuum cleaner is that Shark doesn’t give you a soft bristle brush attachment. Just the stubby crevice nozzle and an upholstery one. But again. For normal use ( and for sucking air out of compression bags ), this vacuum is plenty strong.
