Frustrating with no instuctions
I havent actually used it yet but I was pissed off enough to write this. Package came with a thick book in the smallest font I have ever seen. I had to use my mag light on my iPhone to read it. There were no instructions, only warnings in about 20 languages. I had to google the company to find a guide on how to use. the pages shown in the online guide were not in the included booklet. I will followup on the actual use once I get a chance. Now that i found a users guide I am charging the unit. Evermore pissed off since Amazon delivered it to my next door neighbor. Perhaps they could hire people who can read house numbers. Both houses have distinct number signs right out front.

Did not work on my particular vehicle.
Unfortunately this did not work on my car’s battery (‘07 Lexus RX 350). The battery is only 5 months old and the car was left sitting for three weeks for reference. Per the instructions the white light turned on which means the device was hooked up correctly. I tried starting the car immediately and when that didn’t work I waited 30 seconds as stated in the instructions. Still didn’t work. Tried a few more times and gave up. The return seems to be a hassle for this, Amazon states they will refund me within 30 days after they receive the product. Considering all the good reviews I wish this had worked for my car.

Looks good could perform better
It could not start a single cylinder ATV with battery voltage at 11.9 volts. I even let it sit hooked up for over a minute and NO go. This was exactly the purpose and situation I purchased it for, day ruined could not get out and ride.

I was having problems with the battery in my car and was carrying jumper cables in my trunk but you need another car to jump it which isn’t always there. And I was a little leery of this tiny new-fangled contraption and didn’t know how well it would work and doubted that it would actually have enough power to actually work but IT WORKS GREAT! I’ve used it twice and it works great. And when it isn’t used it seems to hold the charge for quite a while. I make a point to check the charge once a month. It’s worth the money just for the peace of mind.

Had this for several years before I needed to use it. When I needed to hook it up the clamps were way to stiff for me to squeeze. I had to have another person hook them to the battery. Once he had them connected it worked just like it was advertised. Great product but not for someone with severe arthritis in the hands. I would recommend it to average user.

Receive the unit today. Went to charge it but there was no instruction manual or car port adapter. Per the online instruction it says, “Step 1: Charge the GB40. The GB40 comes partially charged out of the box and needs to be fully charged prior to use. Connect the GB40 using the included USB Charge Cable to the USB IN port and the USB car charger. It can also be recharged from any USB-powered port, like an AC adapter, car charger, laptop, and more. Did not find the USB car charger. Is there supposed to be a manual included, in addition to the multi-language warranty?

My battery died in an underground, packed, hotel garage. Couldn’t get a car close enough to jump it. Ordered this and it showed up to the hotel the next morning. We purchased this battery booster in 2023! Only used it once for my personal vehicle but I’ve already lost count how many people we’ve been able to help with it. We boosted about 5 cars before having to charge and the charge holds for a long time without depleting the battery. This booster is stated for small vehicles but I can confirm that it’s been used to boost a full size pick up truck. The polarity safety feature is great, making it impossible to cross the battery or wires. Took us too long to leave this review but this item is a must have!

Misleading Description
The description on the page is misleading, and also items that were supposed to be in the box are not there. Specifically, there is not a 12-volt car charger nor a user manual in the box. Also, the description says, it uses usb micro connectors–so I also bought an adapter to use with a wall charger ( that I need to supply) — but it is usb-c, so I wasted money on the adapter and now need to buy a usb -c adapter.

I have a midsized SUV, ag type battery died. These batteries are hard to get and hard to install. I had to go about a week before mechanics could get to it. I tried several boosters, one saying it was 2000 amps. Borrowed my neighbors noco 1k, it worked with barely a charge. Bought my own and easily performed multiple starts. Piece of junk! Instruction manual NEVER found English and I looked page by page and NO ENGLISH, had to literally cut the box, package open! Beware battery malfunction, and don’t trust the ratings they give these
Lasted just over 3yrs before overheating and bulging the plastic battery body just while sitting in vehicle. Honestly every time I ever pulled it out to use it it never was able to jump start my 3.6 v6 or 5.3 v8, so I don’t trust their guidelines on what it can jump are correct or how many times for that matter. Won’t purchase this brand again, will find something stronger and more reliable for the money wasted on this.
