I got this to have in an emergency if our vehicle ever wouldn’t restart. Luckily, it happened a week after having this. We went to jump start and nothing happened. We did it correctly. Another bit of luck is we were parked right by an auto supply store. An employee inside was nice enough to use his jump starter and I purchased one from their store. The next morning, the vehicle wouldn’t start and their jump starter worked to get us to Pep Boys. Thanks for nothing, NOCO. Returned.

Works like a charm. I am really bad at figuring out physical fix-it type of stuff. I had of course charged it when I got it. So when my car was dead, I simply connected the clamps to the car battery, and the car happily turned over, so I did not have to call roadside assist. When I first purchased this charger. I couldn’t give it a 5 star rating because I had not used it then. But now I can say this charger is very nice and it works great. I’ve used it twice on a 2.5 liter engine and once on a 3.5 liter engine with the batteries on all 3 vehicles being totally empty of any charge. I connected the NOCO, turned it on and hit the boot charge and all 3 cars started up and with no hesitation. I knew the NOCO still had much charging power left, but I just wanted to see how much power was drained from it. I connected the NOCO charger to my lap top and it was still full. I love this charger and with the NOCO carry case for it. It’s very convenient for storage and to carry around it I had to. The charger is heavy and appears to be well built. This thing is out and I really like it. Thank you.

Impressive, this little box has reliably jumped the car multiple times on a completely dead battery. Very well designed and quality components and accessories. Even the minor detail of having a plastic bar to clamp both leads to when in storage is a nice thoughtful touch. Price is a bit high but I’d rather pay more for something this well made that I would need to rely on in an emergency situation. After using a few times I have confidence in keeping this around for myself or anyone else that might be in need.

It got me out of a jam…….
I bought one of these because my truck battery died this week…..came out of the doctors office and my truck wouldn’t start. A gentleman walking past me looking under my hood asked if it was my battery, I said i think so. He said wait a minute and went to his car and came back with one of these. He said it had been in his vehicle for about a year and only had two “bars” so it wasn’t fully charged at all. I have an F150 that requires a good amount of cracking amps. With only two bars it started my truck with no problem.

Didn’t really know what to expect when I ordered this product. A friend has a much larger more powerful model but it is much more expensive. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality when I received this. I had occasion to use it a couple of times once on a battery that I knew was very dead and several years old. The vehicle started with no problems. The device itself and the connectors are high-quality. The device has built-in attached covers that cover the charging holes and the holes for the cables to start the car. Charging is easy and since the batteries are lithium ion, it holds a charge for a long time. I bought this for my wife because she was having unexplained battery problems with her car. I like it so well I put one on a wish list for myself. Highly recommended!

Wouldn’t jump start a V8
First time trying one of these and it wouldn’t jump start a 4.6L V8. The car battery had about 11 volts. The NOCO sensed it and boosted but wasn’t enough to turn the starter over even after letting it boost for a few minutes and several tries. I had to just charge the car battery with a 7 amp charger for a few minutes and then it started. It’s been returned.

I retract my previous review where I did not follow directions properly. Before using the charger plug it up until it’s a green shade. To charge your battery hook it up and press the power button then press and Hold the red circle. That should get you started.

I’m not going to lie. I’ve had only a few jump starting products and clearly I’ve been purchasing cheap, foreign knock offs! Every ad likes to say ‘yes, it works’ or ‘works right out the box’. And yet, one stands out by telling the truth! NOCO Boostplus worked better than I expected on my ’17 Dyna with the stand HD OEM battery. And it hardly holds a charge! It worked the first time. And it still turned over later on! This product works as it says. Perfect for small compartments and a must have for family vehicles. And bad batteries!

It’s a great battery charger, but like a lot of products, you have to buy costly accessories, like, in this case, a NOCO 12v 10w power adapter to charge the darn thing…And if you don’t use their adapter, they won’t replace or repair the charger if something goes wrong. To me, that seems like a scare tactic. Why can’t companies include everything you need to use their product? Just charge more initially. Don’t nickel and dime customers later.

NO USB-C BRICK INCLUDED!
WARNING: This product requires a USB charger brick which must be PURCHASED SEPARATELY. That’s right, there is no charger brick in the box. You get a USB C to USB C cable, but no brick. Of course a USB C charger brick can be bought for $5, and if you have a spare port on another brick, you probably won’t care. But seriously, it would have cost the manufacturer less than a dollar to put that in the kit. Meanwhile, I’ve spent an hour to get this sorted out over the phone for my retiree mom, who wouldn’t know a USB charger if it bit her in the you know what. I don’t care how good the product is, this is just a CHEAP A$$ move, not to mention highly insensitive to the challenges of older customers.

The unit appears to be well made but did not provide sufficient power for a single start. I used it to charge my phone and it was exhausted from fully charged while only adding 20% to my phone.

Bought this as a gift for my elderly parents and loved it so much I had to get one myself! Got a call last week that they had to use it and it worked great!! They love keeping their independence. :-D. It is very small in size but packs a punch! I am impressed with its power. You can also charge your phone with it. The lights power on… once the light starts blinking you can start your car- and it started right up! It seems very durable. I love the compact design which also comes in a travel back. I got this on sale just before Christmas, but would pay full price for it as well as it has already been a life saver. Great value for the money!

Doesn’t take up a lot of space in the car and it packs a lot of power. Not sure how long it will remain charged but will update once I find out. It comes with well made heavy duty positive and negative clamps to attach to the car battery and the charger has a USB in (for charging) and USB out (for powering/charging your phone or other USB devices) and two handy flashlights on one end. The lights are adjustable in brightness and they can flash if you want them too. The flashlight is very useful if you break down at night and helps you see under your hood to connect this charger to your car battery. It all fits in the included cloth bag so you don’t lose anything. I got this on sale for $99 and I’ve very happy with my purchase.

This is an excellent product. It is great to charge a dead battery. I have one in my older car and it works great. I decided to buy another one to keep in my newer car. Unfortunately, they have changed the cable and it has the same configuration on both ends, even though the unit Itself has the same configuration as before with two different ends. You DO NOT get the cable shown, and you CAN NOT charge it from a USB station. I will have to buy another cable. Not that expensive, but quite frustrating.
