Battery Charger With Caveats
This charger doesn’t immediately jump start a car, it depends on how low the charge of the battery is and how fast the charger can charge the car battery enough to start. But with that being said, it does work and it is handy to put in your vehicle storage for emergency use.

This jump starter does not include a charger to charge it. Unlike other companies that sell a similar product and include the charger and charging cable you will need to purchase those items separately.

jump started my 3L bmw perfectly as advertised
bmw lithium battery drained and safety “off” would not take a charge with a charger, this jump starter worked perfect to get my car moving again which allowed the charger to work after a short drive. Nice rugged plastic case stores in my trunk for any future needs of myself or others needing a jump. I am happy with build quality, price, function all as advertised.

Doesn’t work if it’s cold out
The red error light was flashing i talked to tech support.they asked if it was to cold or to hot outside, I said cold he said the lithium battery was to cold. I said that kind of defeats the purpose of leaving it in the car. The unit won’t do anything until the error light stops flashing. Which means the battery needs to heat up before it can be charged.

Had a doctor’s appointment this morning, I was away for 3 was car sitting in the cold. Packs a punch
I mainly bought this to safely jump my motorcycle. Used this to jump my truck as well. Some jump packs won’t work if the battery is completely dead, but this has the ability to override that. It is pretty small for a jump pack, but it is strong. The leads are detachable and there are rubber covers to protect the connections and charging port. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a hard case to store it in. Just comes with a cloth drawstring bag to put it in. Overall I’m happy, much better than the cheapo one I got from Walmart.

Bulging after several years

It had a very difficult time starting an F-150. It works fine for my Infiniti. I would definitely buy the 1500 amp or 2000 amp unit. I regret buying this unit.

This jump starter appears to be made very well. It looks very nice, and has quality parts. The design seems to be pretty fool proof, and I really had high hopes for when and if I needed it. A friend called me one day to ask if I could help his wife jump start her car (as he was unable to get there). I was looking forward to being the hero with my un-tested NOCO GB40! Unfortunately, her car must have been “too dead”, or my GB40 hadn’t held its full charge since I last charged it up (which may have been 12 months ago). The starter would turn the engine over a few times, but it would not start. I ended up jumping her car with my original jumper cables.

I got recommended buying this jumper box and unfortunately I didn’t last 6 months. Within the 6 months it wouldn’t charger or turn on anymore. Only used once and always kept in a cool/fresh place. Buyer beware.

Easy to use. Compact. Easy to charge. Highly recommend, takes away awkwardness of asking strangers for a jump. Works instantly, no waiting for the battery to charge. I’m having issues where the cold is draining my battery, it’s saved me mutiple times from being stranded in 20° weather. Only thing to note, you have to have a good hand grip or use of both hands. I was able to help another person who had 15 ft of jumper cables stretched out between cars that weren’t working in less than 5 min and that includes the walk back to my car to get it. Highly highly recommend, I’m not the type to make that recommendation lightly.

Gotta Be Honest – It couldn’t start my 3032E
I left the lights on – on my JD 3032E. I bought this – just for the convenience of not having to lug anything big and heavy to the tractor. I got this thing. It seems like quality. It charged up in a couple of hours. I took it out there and hooked it up, turned it on. The 3032E turned over a little but not enough to start it up. So, I am disappointed. I guess I’ll keep it. Maybe, when I have a zero turn lawnmower battery go down, it will have the juice to start that. It better! But, it can’t start the JD diesel. And it claims to be able to start diesels up to 3 liters. The 3032E is about 1/2 that so it is supposed to have the juice…but it doesn’t.

I purchased this jumper bc my old one just isn’t cutting it. It won’t jump my Jeep not sure if it’s just old but a friend recommended this one to me. I got it and it’s 75% charged and I was able to jump my completely dead battery. Started right up. And it still at 75%. Definitely recommend this to everyone.

Well built, bad design
My first impression of this unit is that it’s very well made and feels very sturdy. High quality plug covers, nice display lights and the jumper cables are beefy for their size. The little bag that it comes with is a joke and doesn’t even have a spring closure so everything just falls out. My biggest complaint is the power button. It is Very easy to accidentally press and isn’t recessed or protected in any way. I charged it up and put it in the bag with the cables and set it on my counter to put in my truck the next day. In the morning I noticed that the lights on the display were all on. The power button must have gotten bumped when I set it down. It clearly doesn’t have an auto-shutoff feature as it at on for about 14 hours. This is a terrible issue for something that will be thrown under a seat or in a Rubbermaid with other emergency items. It is so easy to accidentally depress the power button. If it’s pressed twice the light comes on. I bought this for under the back seat of my pickup truck but there’s no way it’ll still be charged when I need it, if the light is turning on when I hit a bump. The power button needs to be redesigned and it should come with a decent carry pouch. Will likely return unless I can figure out a way to store it where the button isn’t accidentally pressed constantly

Rav4 2009, the battery died after the dome light was left on. I connected the NOCO Boost, waited 1 minute, then tried to start the car. The first attempt almost started. The second it did it. This jumpstarter is very small and light compared to others I have had before. Also, it charges quickly in any USB C charger.

Easy to use and works
I got two of these to hive yo my kids who went off to college. Peace of mind was the purpose. Well, that was 6.5 months ago. Never had to be used until today. My car happened to be dead from the ongoing freeze and luckily one of my kids were home with the battery jumper in his trunk. Pulled it out of the box, partially charged at 3 bars, jumped my car on the very first try. It worked!!! All by myself, didn’t need anyone else to help me. BTW, my car has a V-8 engine, not a small car! I am ordering one for myself to keep in my car now.

A must have for anyone with a vehicle
After watching my friend jump his car with this item, I knew I had to have one. If your battery dies there is no need for jumper cables or another person willing to give you a jump. You just pull this out, hook it to the terminals, hit the the power button, wait for a light and boom, you can start your car. Ridiculously easy to use and store. The size will fit almost anywhere in the car, the design allows for a built in flashlight to be used if need be as well as USB charging ports for charging devices. It does have some weight to it but nothing of concern as it is a better at the end of the day. I can’t personally speak to how long it will hold a charge but when I asked my friend before I bought mine he said he’s left it for 6 months without charging and it was still usable, so yeah, well worth the money for peace of mind on the unfortunate days your battery gets drained.

Not for all cases of dead battery
I ve had the gb40 for several years. First if you have a low voltage fully functional battery this will augment and usually start your car. It will not start a dead battery or battery with a CCA below 400. Once you figure out the light show on the box, try boost, disable the safety features, etc you’ll still be out of luck. It can’t match the traditional battery CCA. I can’t break out my plug in jumper – bingo starts, my portal lead battery jumper – bingo it start. When try the GB40 – clunk, no start. So beware it’s not going to save you every time.

Good little unit, but I wish I would have purchased a bigger one
I like it, but I have two gripes. One, this unit uses a micro-USB cable. Pathetic. Who uses those crap cables anymore? USB-C is where it’s at now, and anything less is unacceptable in 2025. If I had known it was micro-USB I wouldn’t have purchased this one no matter how good it is. Second, I bought this for mine and my wife’s cars, but honestly I should have gone bigger. I tried using this for my coworker’s truck, but it wouldn’t start it because their battery was older and completely dead. I know a larger unit would have started her truck because I have a larger one of these at work, and it will start anything, even big trucks. Go bigger if you can afford it.

I haven’t used the product yet, but I’m sure it works. However, it does not come with a charger “box”. You have to buy a USB-C charger to plug into an outlet. It did come with a USB-C cable.

I bought 2 of these chargers for our car. Never really hoping to need to use them. But guess what when I least expected i need one and I was prepared. It worked so great I decided to purchase 3 more and give then as gifts to my 3 kids to have in there car. My youngest was in need of a jump in the morning before work and was so happy to not need to get some help from other because he was prepared and was happy that I had lifted him that. Does Not Jump 4 cylinder car after a few years
We kept our gp40 in a temperature controlled garage over the last 4 years. We fully charged it before using it to jump a 4 cylinder golf. And we are attempted to jump it it did not work. We used a gb40 from a friend, who had just purchased one, and it worked. This is a device that will not last beyond 3-4 years even if well maintained avoid.
