The mop still works great. I highly recommend it. The vacuum stopped working after a year and 3 months. It did a good job while it lasted. The WiFi will not work now, so it doesn’t map or follow a map. It will not auto-start either. If you want a temporary solution that will last at least a year, then it was great while it lasted. It is very noisy, so don’t expect to run it while you are at home.

Requires way too much human intervention
We have been using this for 1 1/2 years now and I must say that if it wasn’t so expensive it would have thrown in the garbage a long time ago. When it works it does a good job of cleaning. However, that is overshadowed by the barrage of errors that shut the thing down and require human intervention. I conservatively estimate that 70% of the cleaning jobs result in an error, usually from the dust bin being full. If that weren’t enough, when the job is restarted the unit starts vacuuming areas that were not part of the job. Very frustrating!! The software seems very buggy, as ive had to reboot the machine more than a dozen times.

The vacuum is nice but
This was purchased as a bundle. We’ve enjoyed the vacuum and been happy with its performance. The Braava Jet M6 causes us continual problems pertaining to mapping and performance. When the mop does complete cleaning of a few rooms it feels like the time it took was excessive but if that was the only complaint we had it would only be a minor annoyance and we would keep it. The mop will search for home and many times fails to find it and has to be retrived. When it finds home it is unable to dock, spins in circles, gets stuck in a nearby corner, or searches the room at random. Several times we’ve remapped, completed factory resets and spent many hours trying to set this up but to no avail. The way this mop currently operates is unsatisfactory and is not a product I would recommend

Roomba S9 works great but the Braava Jet ?
I had been looking for a new Roomba and found the bundle in amazon. It was a great price. Roomba S9 does a great job sweeping my floors. I’m amazed and how it cleans the floor it does a great job. the only problem was the braava jet M6 the lid was broken so I had to return the whole set back since I bought as a bundle. I do plan on buying it again.

Worked for the 1st 30 days
So I’ve had the roomba vacuum/ mop combo for over a year. when I 1st got it, it was easily a 5 star product. My floors were always clean love the fact I had less cleaning to do around the house. Shortly after a month I was having nothing but problems. The vacuum was getting stuck out in the open with nothing around. It couldn’t do a full cycle without me having to do something to help it out. There’s so much dust that gets under the vacuum it won’t charge when it’s done, so I have to clean it everytime. I really thought this was gonna be a low maintenance machine but I’m constantly having to clean this or get my dog hair from underneath. I have huskies so there is a lot of dog hair but I read the reviews and everyone said this was good for people with dogs. Now it’s to the point where I can sweep right after it’s done and I pick up a lot of dirty. I’ve replaced the filter, blades, and the side brush but still having problems. The mop is more of a swifter. It does an ok job but for what I was expecting when I paid 1000 for combo set. The mop currently can’t get unstuck from the docking station so I have to take it off in order for it to work. The app was pretty neat and loved it but I’m reviewing base on how to vacuum and mop work. The replacement parts are expensive so be ready to pay a lot for the upkeep. I wouldn’t recommend this at all. It’s a waste of money and bummed out I spent so much just to be disappointed

It’s nice to have a robot
I guess it will take a while to remove the old Bona wood floor polish, as the BraavaJet floor cleaner results in streaks when viewed in sunlight. Both the iRobot vaccum and floor cleaner are a great addition with pre-programmed schedules. The house map required a couple of attempts to get it correct and all moveable obstacles needed to be removed (only for mapping) including chairs (which seemed to confuse generating the map). Now I put a do-not-enter box on the map about the dining room table and the problems went away.

Planned Obsolescence
Roomba is obviously working on a planned Obsolescence schedule, The first one we had died at 13 months, so for some reason we bought another one that lasted 11 months, the company replaced it with one that lasted 12 months. I think I will go get a Shark.

Within a year – CLIFF DETECTED ERROR – THEY WILL NOT FIX!
This is my 2nd or 3rd Roomba. I have loved all of them – except this one. The mop is fine. But the vacuum was never “smart” and now won’t work. Roomba will not fix nor replace ,as I purchased a roomba that the box had been opened to save $150. I will NEVER own another roomba.

Don’t buy this if you have a large, long-haired dog
I bought this to manage two dogs’ worth of hair. It is nice when it works, but it’s utterly incapable of dealing with the dog hair. Unlike most vacuum cleaners, where you can disassemble them and remove the hair clog and they’re none the worse for wear, this thing gets dog hair wrapped around the rollers, and then it gets stuck inside the rollers and makes burning smells and self-destructs its rollers and the little pins that hold the rollers in place. Even if you remove the dog hair after every round of vacuuming, it will still form mats in places you can’t possibly imagine and use them for self-destruction. The comments that say “this thing is pretty dumb about mapping your house” are correct. It takes a long time, and when it’s finally learned its way around the house, it starts having tantrums about docking or talking to your phone so you have to reboot it and then it forgets all its maps and you have to map again. I expected a lot better from a household appliance that was this expensive. I have given up on this and regret buying it, but it is too late to return it.

Let down for the price
Pros – Mop and Vacuum do a good job cleaning when they work. – mop is very quiet. Vacuum allows for reduced suction so can be run fairly quietly. Cons – Had to send both the mop and the Vacuum back within the first year due to them no longer working and just giving errors – still get constant errors every time you try to start them so the auto schedule is useless as they will say “tank needs filling” or “lid not closed” as soon as they try to start. Once you open and close the lids a handful of times they will finally start. Overall for the cost I don’t feel it was worth it with all the issues we’ve had.

Generally, buying home appliances is not a recommended gift for your wife. But is was a hit. She loves it. My wife is a clean freak is not not comfortable if/when the floor is dirty. Especially the kitchen floor. So now when she needs the floor cleaned she taps on a button in her iPhone and the Rumba goes to work. And she’s pleased with the job it does. I’m pleased, too, because since I have retired vacuuming the floor became my job. (You see my motive). Now if I could only find a robot that cleans bathrooms…

The vacuum works wonderful. Vacuums tile and carpeted areas well. Transverses between flooring types and thresh holds easily. Maps the house well. Software is a bit clunky and does not come with in depth instructions. Overall very pleased with vacuum. The M8 mop is another story. It does not map well. Runs into things excessively hard. It gets stuck under chairs and needs rescued. It does not handle a thresh hold with more the an 1/8 of an inch difference without getting stuck. Also gets stuck in the areas where carpeting meets the tile.

Always broke
First you have to pick and sweep before using it or it won’t work. Then it worked the first time and froze the second time. Called troubleshooted, work for a day. Called they sent new parts. Replaced parts worked for a day. Called, troubleshooted, rebooted, worked for a day the died again. Now in the process of sending the whole unit back for repair or replaced. The Lid on the Braava Jet m6 Robot Mop BREAKS
The media could not be loaded. The latch to the lid failed in just a few months and we were able to use the machine by taping the lid shut during operation, and in less that two years the lid completely failed at the hinge. I went online to research this problem and found that numerous other people had the same problems with this product, in fact there are videos on how to replace this part which is available for sale on eBay.

Good for every other day light cleaning
Bought this with more of a mind towards curiosity to see how well it would clean: happy to report it’s doing great on every day cleaning. Just not worth it. From connectivity issues to parts just breaking on their own, not to mention the fact it doesn’t avoid objects, just makes other competitors better. The mop is more of a joke. VERY UNRELIABLE and NOISE – Every couple of months the Vacuum disconnects from app
Every couple of months it gets disconnected from the app. When this happens I have to add it again. which means spending days re-mapping and resetting the scheduling There is no way to delete the old ones each time I have to read it. so I know have 5 Roombas on the app to figure out which works. for the past month non of them worked as I don’t have hours over days to get it back working. When it works its great except it supper loud coupared to older models so you cant watch TV be on the phone or hear your self think.

I think my expectations were too high.
For this price I expected it to be much smarter. The vacuum kept getting caught on chairs. The Mop got caught on literally nothing. I told them both to “go home”, the mop kept trying to go onto the home for the vacuum, I had to pick it up and put it back. Then the vacuum got stuck on the home trying to climb onto it. They are much louder than I expected. I get that it’s a vacuum, so it being loud while sucking stuff up would be one thing, but even when it was just riding around mapping, it was very loud. DOES NOT WORK AS STATED
This Roomba does not work as outlined in the “features”. It does not clean well, avoid anything in the line cleaning, doesn’t avoid dog accidents which was a main purpose of purchasing due to an incident with a previous version of Roomba which I never wanted that to happen again. The sensors need help
This product started out amazing but after about 6 months we are constantly having to take it apart to clean the inside of the sensors or it won’t run it just keeps getting stuck on a cliff in the middle of the floor. Won’t even plug in
Can’t even use it because the plug doesn’t fit it’s way too loose. It has potential to work because if I wiggle it around it’ll briefly get power but it will not stay in place. any kind of movement at all and it will make it come loose. It is naturally just too loose to stay plugged in. I’m not the only one either, I’ve seen several people on Reddit post the same issue. Overall, simply can’t use. The power cord is arguably the most important part and it doesn’t fit. Worst product ever.

Roombas are not smart
This is the fourth Roomba I’ve owned and I use it daily, in spite of that fact I think irobot misses the mark on the most basic issues outside of actually vacuuming. You would think that power cords, water and furniture damage would be among the top concerns in designing these.. Yet my roomba always find creative ways to do damage. These things will eat appliance cords, phone cords, plants and run right through water obstacles they create. They will run until cords are ripped out of the walls, shredded and the rollers on the vacuums are completely destroyed. Even in soft touch mode all my high end furniture in the house has marks and scratches at Roomba level. I love home automation and want so badly to have an automated vacuum but honestly my Roomba only makes it all the way through vacuuming my house 1/5 times without being untangles or unstuck.

This product is incapable of discovery and cleaning. The bumper jams constantly. It can’t find itself in the room, and appears to be sensitive to any radio signal in the house. Incredibly disappointing and horribly expensive lesson to learn … don’t buy this. it might be a great R&D product, but someone should file a class action lawsuit for complete failure to deliver.

Not worth your money
It doesn’t clean well all the time. It can’t find its way back to the dock. It doesn’t matter where you send it, it either cleans another room instead or spins in a circle. It hits a wall and yells it’s stuck. All it has to do is turn 90 degrees. Sometimes it tries to go through a wall to get to another room or its dock. As much noise as it makes while cleaning, one would think it would pick up everything. If it’s bigger than a hole punch circle, it will remain on the floor. I absolutely hate this machine which saves me no time and causes endless frustration.

It was broken
My M6 refused to work and iRobot cannot fix it. I googled it and there is a famous “wheel tracking problem”. They cannot fix it and I was encouraged to use a 75USD credit to buy a new one. Funny thing is that I had it for only 1 year and 5 months. Before you buy any iRobots, search the reviews and complains online, it will help you to save your money.

Getting in on the subscription model?
We purchased a Chinese knock-off robot vacuum a few years back. It was cheap, and worked really well for the price. Over the 6 months we used it we never had to replace the rollers or side brush. So I thought, “get a name-brand one and it’ll be even better!” Boy was I going to learn a lesson. There is comparatively absolutely no logic to how this thing cleans rooms! It might clean the room once, maybe three times, and no matter what the app says, it’s NOT based on the room size! Now the real kicker. Over the years we’ve owned this model I’ve replaced all the rollers, brushes, and filter in it at least once a month! And they’re not cheap! Also because of the flawed logic of how this thing cleans and maps it often rams up on bumps, and gets stuck! It’ll then spend hours humping the bump and balding it’s tires. I replaced both wheels last year, that’s once, and then this last month they were bald again! Luckily I found some Chinese knock-off tires so hopefully they’ll work better! All in all this is a shameless cash grab from iRobot. Expensive meant-to-wear-out parts. Flawed logic makes you have to replace other parts. Why do I have to buy the whole thing all over again year after year after year!? For what I’m paying THEY should just send me the new model! Oh yeah, the mop is ok

I have an iRobot 880 that I loved but died because I couldn’t get the powered wheels to work any more. And believe me I bought all kinds of parts to keep it running. So I broke down and purchased the iRobot Roomba s9+ (9550) Robot Vacuum & Braava Jet bundle. So, what do I think? The s9 vacuum has been terrific at cleaning. I love the straight lines that the vac does. Great job in determining my houses cleaning area. Easily the best iRobot I’ve had. (I’ve had 4 iRobot vac’s.) The only thing that’s a problem, so far, is that the replacement rollers rattle badly because the roller length is not long enough. I’m worried that this rattling may shorted the life of the unit. It also very loud due to this. Would I buy it again? Probably. It depends on them correctly improving the rollers and noise.

This model always has a bin error and there is nothing ever in the bin. A friend has this model and his always has the same bin error. I’ve replace all of the rollers, filters and brushes. It cannot ever finish a job without stopping for the bin error.

Never would connect to wifi, customer support no help
Waited 10 days for customer support to address the issue, unacceptable. After 5 or more attempts to set this up, I was at a dead end. I tried for 4 days to call the customer support line, and finally got through after the 4th day. The support person was friendly but could not fix the problem, so she sent an email requesting my router info, etc., to escalate it to a higher tech team. I replied immediately, but received a confirmation 3 days later that my info was finally being forwarded to the team. It has now been 10 days since my initial contact with support and I still have not received any more replies from the higher tech team. I expect better customer service from a luxury product such as this. I am returning the item, and will never be purchasing another Roomba.

Frustrating from day 1
Both devices were a pain to setup and get mapping. Braava did not come with the proper supplies to allow it to map, so I had to wait to get cleaner before it could map. Roomba constantly reports a “Bin Error” when almost done. The app used to link to a page promising an Braava gives no indication when to change pads, and is almost always wrong about whether or not it needs more cleaner (says empty when more than half full, but says nothing when it is out), so you must watch it to see if it is actually cleaning. October firmware update to fix the issue but know the error brings you to a missing page error. Both devices randomly decide that they will ignore your map and create a brand new one, ignoring the areas you told them to not enter. Devices do not share maps, though the advertising said they did. Will not purchase iRobot products again.

Para el precio no vale la pena, demora mucho en cargar, la aspiradora con los plásticos de abajo me rayaba el piso y el mapo no limpia bien, deja manchas de agua, no me gustó para nada , demasiado caro para su mal funcionamiento.

Not Worth the price
The Brava Jet lid didn’t last a year. Called support and it’s already out of warranty. The option was to buy a refurbished one that the price was ridiculous. We will not be our purchasing another one.
