An assembler issue
The box came beat up after inspecting the air compressor whoever assembled it did not assemble it correctly and caused a plastic to break. If it wouldn’t take a 6weeks to replace it . I would send it back !

High pressure, quieter than 80db, compact. still new. contacted Alton Industries for a parts diagram. Per their “Licensing Agreement”, no parts diagram is available. told the pump+motor is one part number. therefore no simple rebuild of the piston or regulator is possible. I would have bought elsewhere if I knew.

You have to remove the top of the plastic cover to put a wrench to the connector. It is quiet and fills as expected. Does get warm when running.

Didn’t last 30 seconds. I love craftsman tools, but this isn’t one of them. Worst part is their return authorization. didn’t include transportation costing me nearly $200 shipping. Why ever buy anything from them that they don’t really back up. Please don’t take the chance.

New compressor to replace the old one.
Delivery was good, the box was intact and the packaging prevented any damage. I powered it up and it ran up to the 175PSI and shut off. I left the tank sit over night to see if it leaked down and it didn’t. I left it for 7 days and the tank stayed at 175psi. I don’t use a compressed air weekly, then there are days I use it to dry a part or two off. I like the fact it hold the 175psi and no leak down, I know it’s not the best to store air in a steel tank. I let it sit a day and drain any condensate out. my old tank lasted over 30 years doing this method. I like the two outlet design, The add on manifold type can drop the like pressure. This makes the two outlet great, if someone is running say an impact gun and you are using a blow gun. Would I buy this again- Absolutely!

The tricks of marketing, I was too fast to have it , not knowing or understanding what the #s mean. So I can’t run the tools full time that I purchased for this unit.

Beware! Made in China. The Craftsman brand no longer means quality & service.
There was no extended warranty available. Now I know why. At about 90 days after the purchase date this compressor stopped working & couldn’t be restarted. The Amazon customer service person said that I could return it at my expense & get a refund less about $105.00. She suggested that the manufacturer’s limited 1 year warranty might be a better option & gave me their phone number. All they would do was to send me the 2 plastic parts that fail “most frequently”. I paid a local repair man $50 to place them. That didn’t work. I called Amazon & said that I was now willing to accept the refund offer. A very rude person said that it wasn’t possible that I had ever been offered a refund & refused to do anything at all. It makes a very expensive doorstop.

broken wheel
The compressor came with one broken wheel. The only way to get a new one is to send back the whole compressor. Shipping will cost way more than just sending me a new wheel. Kinda dumb but that seems to be the direction…

No Capacity to do real work
I purchased so would have more capacity on air tools. Looks big but has little capacity for some reason. Had a while and today tried to blow grass off riding mower to put away. Terrible had to stop 3 or 4 times for it to catch up. Not much different than the smaller one I replaced.

Smashed wheels
Product arrived in box that was beat up. After I finally got it out of the large box, I noticed the plastic wheels were smashed in and cracked. I looked up ordering replacement wheels and they are $70 a piece. I may as well have bought the larger compressor for about the same price. All I want is the replacement wheels. I don’t want to package the compressor up and ship it out. What a hassle.

Caught on fire after a 5-6 months
Caught on fire and was smoking after 4-6 months of use. Disappointed for a 600$ compressor.

Good value. A little noisy.
It’s a great little compresser for my use. Tires, pool toys, a few tools. It’s a bit on the loud side, and the tank rings like a bell after about 3 minutes of running. But for the price and the infrequent use that I give it, a pretty good purchase. 👍

Great air compressor and affordable
The compressor puts out air volume and pressure for sand blasting. It’s light weight so moving around job site is great. So far it has impressed everyone who has used this compressor.
