Cleans very well (tufted and polyester) , light and easy to handle, enough supplies to do the job right out of the box, small footprint for storage. Note the solution container is smaller, which contributes to the light weight. Beats renting the heavy machines used by folks with major fecal or urine contamination in their carpets and returned to the rental station for the next customer…
The only thing I don’t like about this product is that it requires pre-sweeping if you have a mild mess on the floor. In my case, I have one cat and a 5-year-old daughter who leave crumbs here and there on the hardwood floor. The cat sometimes flings litter out of the box and sheds more during summer. If I don’t pre-sweep, all of this gets sucked in and cleaned off the floor. However, when it’s time to do a deep clean, there’s a flood of water, chemicals, and dirt because everything you’ve sucked in clogs the tubing where the clean water circulates, affecting the flow the machine needs to auto-clean. This will also happen if you have a “hairy” area rug. DO NOT vacuum/clean it without first ensuring the hair is gone, or it will be a pain to clean the parts afterward. It’s a good product if you do the Pre-Cleaning. 😊

Does not leave floors clean
I was really excited for the two-in-one vacuum and mop action the CrossWave offers. We live on a farm and our kitchen floor is prone to regular abuse from muddy boots and paws, as well as the usual spills/drips/splashes etc that are typical in the kitchen. Vacuuming and mopping regularly are necessary but kind of a pain, so I hoped this would save some of the hassle. I didn’t expect that it could handle over-the-top mud and muck, but even with just normal traffic debris and dirt, it will leave dirty steaks or puddles where you run it. I’ve followed all the instructions and ensured I run the self-cleaning cycle each time, but still have not felt my floors were cleaner after using it. Very disappointing, especially considering the cost

Works on wood and tile – not so much on carpet
Got this primarily for carpet, less for wood/tile Works very well and good suction and decent battery life for its size and use. Definitely not a whole (large) house on one charge. It’s also not to be mistaken for a conventional vacuum cleaner for generic pickup. It’s a wet vac hybrid. Issue is – it does NOT do carpets well as the rotating cloth brush does not go deep like a normal bristle brush and there is no way to change it . So the end result is carpets are just patted or slapped around on top without getting the dirt out. In one case I could say the dirt may have been pushed in further. The clean mode seems to keep the roller clean – but spills quite a bit outside on the floor . I don’t know if I have a faulty unit but the seal definitely has something to ask for. Besides that it’s ok. A middle of the path one that should have been sold as a hard floor shinner – glosser only.

How many reasons do I love this thing?
My cleaning lady retired a while back and I realized that if my house wasn’t going to be completely disgusting I would have to have something to help. This gets my hardwood and tile floors clean and is light and easy to use. I wish there had been more explanation on how to use the cleanout cycle but I did figure it out and I love that it cleans the dirt out of itself. The value is great and I am 100% happy with my clean floors.

Not even remotely worth the price
It works decently as a vacuum but there are far more cheaper vacuums on the market that do the same work. This vacuum in particular is much heavier than some of the others out of cheaper price and more importantly the reason why I purchased this is because it has a dual use of being a mop as well, that function didn’t work at all every previous product I have ever used for mop and works better than this.

Very good vacuum
I have not personally used it but my husband has and so has my cleaning lady. Both have loved it, they said it is easy to use and want to try the other fetches of the vacuum when they have more time to learn how they work. It looks nice and easy to dock the sound let’s you know it’s docked.

I use it everyday
I love this more then the first wireless crosswave. The quality is better. It leaves my floors feeling really clean. I got the product used so it wasn’t expensive at all. The water capacity I would say it’s pretty much the same as the first wireless crosswave. It’s look is alot slimmer and nice looking. The suction is very nice there’s no extra water on the floor you have to worry about. It has a setting where you can use less water too.

Horrible
Clogs all the time and even when it’s not clog keeps saying it is.

Water leakage, sub-par cleaning, poor quality overall
I really wanted to love this thing, but it has been extremely disappointing. For the money I spent on it, I expected so much more and wish I had purchased something else. The water tank leaks, I have to fight to get the plastic cover for the spin brush to click into place and it still falls off every time I vacuum. The suction for dry vacuuming is awful and I find myself going back to my cheap stick vacuum that this thing was supposed to replace. I was trying to invest in a good 2-in-1 solution for vacuuming and mopping when I purchased this, but it just feels like a waste of money. There are so many better options out there at a similar price point.

Perfect for cat owners
This has worked great for cleaning up the not so lovely things cats leave on the carpet. The liquid cleaner function does a great job and cleans the carpet great.

Don’t like it
This machine it’s not working as i thought don’t Clean as supposed to clean the water don’t come on all mop just from the side and this case not all the mop wet

Great!
It works well for tile but I think it’d work best on hardwood or pvc click flooring. I have to go slower on my passes than I normally would for it to clean well, which is just an adjustment for me because I like to go fast. I have to empty/ refill the containers often but it cleans great. Saves me a step.

LOVE!
I have a high shedding dog and this has saved me so much time cleaning my floors! I used to spend twice the time vacuumizing and then mopping separately, now I get everything done at once. Easy to use and clean. Works great picking up dog hair and dirt.

Love this
This is my third machine. I so not like to sweep before mopping. This is great. It saves so much time. Especially if you work. No water left behind. Just clean. I like tat it cleans the carpet also. Just to touch up the kitchen rug. Or the bathroom. Leaves them fresh again

Love this thing!
The media could not be loaded. I do wish I had two or three of these guys, but, for now, one will do. I’ve used ammonia, simple green, plain water, and a few other cleaning products but no issue. I’d love it if the water/garbage water/battery were larger; however beggars can be choosers.

Great wet vaccum
I was looking to buy a wet vaccination which can be used on rugs as well. We have carpet rugs in bedrooms of our apartment. This works for us. Happy with the purchase. Easy to clean after use.

Not impressed
We have a lot of hard wood flooring on our first floor. I was looking for something to make life a bit easier to keep it clean. For the first use, I swept my floors and started with the vacuum. It didn’t wash up anything off my floors. It did leave a little wet mark so I knew it was “working.” I tried to add a little pressure as I went over my floors and that helped a little. It worked the best when I placed my foot on the roller, it needed that much pressure to actually wash the floors. I thought maybe it would only be better on fresh spills instead of acting like a mop. I reached for it again after a juice spill on my floors and again not impressed. It did work better but still I feel like I had to add more pressure for the brush to actually get to the floor to clean it. I wanted to love it, but just really disappointed in the floor cleaner.

Easy to use and works so well.
I have mostly hard floors throughout my house, tile and hardwoods. This device works great for cleaning and is so easy to use and easy to push. In retrospect, I probably should have bought one that plugs in as the battery will go dead before I finish but that is not a huge deal (4000 sq feet to clean). I actually take to base with me and plug it in to charge while I clean other things. The Bissell itself is very easy to use, the instructions are very clear and the tanks are easy to fill and empty. Also love the self cleaning feature when you are finished and the fact that you can take the roller brush out to dry. (I hate the sour smell that comes when things don’t dry well.) Overall, It is wonderful and I love it! would definitely buy again

Time saver
This Bissell CrossWave Floor and Area Rug Cleaner, Wet-Dry Vacuum, is the best value for your money. It helps me to be able to complete my vacuuming an moping with ease. The suction on this Wet-Dry Vacuum is absolutely the best. Love that I can manage the heat level I’d preferred to use on those hard to remove areas.

Awesome tool!
I don’t often write product reviews, but this vacuum is life altering 🙂 It is so easy to use, to take apart, to put back together and to clean. The ease of being able to mop and vacuum at the same time is phenomenal. Stop researching other options and just buy this now!

Its a good price for all it does. I love my new electric floor vac-mop. I love the whole shebang. Who knew floor washing would be such fun. Boy when you wash that rug something explodes inside of you- the satisfaction is tingly. Just get it!

My favorite cleaning tool ever!!!
I bought this dry wet mop cleaning device after reading all of the amazing reviews, and I’m obsessed. My kids love it too and love cleaning for me. It’s super easy to use and clean. I love how with the push of a button, you can switch from dry to wet cleaning. Plus, it easily cleaning hardwood and mats without an issue. The size is perfect in for tall costumers and there is little sound. I chat on the phone as I clean! Super easy to use too for the older crowd who struggle to push things.

My worst Amazon purchase ever!
I bought this thinking it would be worth buying to clean the hard floors. It worked for about a month until it stopped spraying water and before that it never cleaned the floor evenly with water and the roller. Even though each time I cleaned all the parts after each use it leaked dirty water. I’m more than disappointed. I’m pissed!

Nice Machine!
Purchased this machine to replace another (different brand tho) that I had for a few years and motor failed. This does a good job!

Machine refuses to charge
I have owned this machine since the end of May 2024. I have used it just three times. Put it back in the charger after the last use and it has failed to charge. It’s absolutely plugged in and the indicator shows that its charging but the battery level does not go up. Got in touch with Bissell support but they have done absolutely nothing to help me out. I’ve asked for an exchange and received no response. I would not buy this machine again or any other Bissell product because of the poor support and apparent poor build quality. If you get a Bissell lemon, you’re absolutely stuck with it.

Floor Has Never Been Cleaner
I have a laminate floor and I decided to go with the Bissell Cross Wave to make cleaning easier and better. The cross wave unit is well-made, and comes with complete instructions. It is easy to use and I was amazed at how well it cleaned my floor – in fact, my floor has never been cleaner. The water picked up by the machine was black – showing how much dirt it had collected. This was a very good purchase and I highly recommend it. (Need to read about it before purchasing and make sure that it is appropriate for the type of floor you have)

Lasted 3 months
The concept is good, but it’s not as simple as it looks. Every time you use it you have to clean it out and air dry all the parts.. so much for quick clean up. Currently it gives me an error message and shuts down when I try to use it. Not worth the price.

Best upgrade ever!
So much better than the regular green crosswave. There’s a self cleaning feature that cleans the brush and makes it almost completely dry. Also a section where you can pull the dog hair out and crumbs without digging into it with your hand and it’s separates it from the dirty water. Love this!

Easy use, easy to clean.
I run a small non profit 501c3 and have have only used this twice, but as a household with 3 dogs (an aging Cocker spaniel and 2 Australian Shepherd/Standard poodles under 1 year) + 50plus foster cats and kittens, I love how easy this machine is to use and especially how easy it is to clean out after use. I do wish the brushes were a little more abrasive for set in accidents (I’ve had to use a mop and scrub brush to loosen some spots), but it has definitely made my floor cleaning less strenuous.
Adrienne Ferguson –
like the brush cleaning feature
I like that this can do wet and dry messes at the same time. It even has a feature to clean its own brush when done. I have only used it on hard floors, not carpet.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
This is the absolute WORST vacuum I have ever used… All it does it is spread dirty water around, dies every 3-4th time using the vacuum for no more than 10-15 minutes at a time, leaks water, the replacement parts are different each time and have to be replaced every 3-4th use, we spent 20-30 minutes cleaning the rotating mop and it STILL leaks dirty water everywhere and absolutely stinks.
Michelle Sullivan –
Obsessed
This is a godsend. It is so easy and straightforward to use and such a great addition to my routine. I didn’t realize how dirty my floors were until I used the mop feature for the first time. I love the febreeze solution, it makes the house smell so fresh. It’s a great value for the money and isn’t too heavy to maneuver.

Cleans great!!
With dogs your floors won’t be perfect but the Omniforce exceeds my expectations for the floors!! The only downfall is the battery life. It doesn’t last long enough to do all my floors so I do have to charge it to finish. However, it’s still worth it to be cordfree and cleans itself for the most part

Works like a CHAMP!
I’ve always respected Bissell’s dedication to creating pet-friendly home products. My daughter-in-law introduced me to the Bissell Crosswave, praising its effectiveness in cleaning floors—a must-have for their two-dog household. I took advantage of a great deal on Amazon and have been thoroughly impressed. It not only tackles spills as advertised but also excels in daily cleaning tasks. The first use left me shocked at the dirty water—yuck! Despite maintaining a clean home and using other products, nothing compares to the CrossWave. It’s astonishing to see the dirt it removes and feel the cleanliness of the floor afterward. With hardwood in my great room and ceramic tiles in my laundry and bathroom, it leaves no streaks or residue.

Great product
The vacuum has a really good quality, good price. Very easy to use and removes the dirt really well. Not too noisy, good suction and durable.
Imsa –
Lightweight, easy to use pricey
So to start off it’s a nice vacuum but pricey. I love the cordless function since I don’t have to worry about how far I can get with a cord. I don’t feel any heat when I use the wet function. You need to go slow to get a good suction and the noise is minimal. For a toddler mom it’s perfect as it doesn’t scare my kids as much as the old bissel vaccum we had. Be warned you must replace the brushes every few months so it gets pricey. Also not great for a main vacuum since you can’t get to the corners very well and no attachments. I had to buy a cheap vacuum to get the corners and hard to reach places.

Great decision
I recently had my kitchen remodeled and there was dust everywhere! We don’t normally wear shoes in our house, but I couldn’t ask the workers to not wear their work boots for safety reasons. I thought about hiring a professional hardwood floor cleaning company once the remodel was complete, but decided to invest in this instead since I would be able to continue to use it in the future. I’m happy with it. It does clean well. The first time I used it, the water in the dirty water tank was black. I had to repeat the cleaning 4 more times for the water to turn more of a light brown. It was obviously picking up the dirt, but I was frustrated that I had to run it so many times for the water to go from black to a light brown. This made me wonder if I should’ve invested in a more expensive machine. But, maybe, this is as clean as it will get regardless. I do like how easy it is to use. You just fill the clean water tank to the designated line and add your solution. You put the tank in the machine and you’re good to go. When you’re done, the machine has a self cleaning option that’s easy to do. After I run the machine, I always take out the filter and clean it under warm water. I also wipe down the outside of the machine. Very simple process. I would recommend it.

Hit and Miss
Pending on the floors that you have, this will determine what type of finish you get. I have tile and wood floors. Does a better job on the wood floors vs. the tile. The suction to pick the water up is ok, leaves the floor wet. Dry time is about 10 minutes,
Ling ling –
DO NOT BUY
It’s a waste of money and a piece of crap. It leaks and doesn’t even clean the floor, instead it smears dirt and creates more messes. And don’t bother reaching out for support because it’s a waste of time, all they tell you to do is check the connections. Everything is connected properly and it still leaks.
