Navigating the Trade-offs: The Upsides and Downsides of the Product
Several customers have expressed satisfaction with the product, citing its usefulness for a range of applications. A customer, Nkarna, mentioned how the product served as an excellent inflator for an air mattress during a camping trip, scoring it a 5-star rating. Similarly, Tina Garbarino claimed it to be the best power inverter she had used after going through three others. She also pointed out that it’s a product you can’t cheap out on, indicating its quality.
The compact size and charging capabilities of the product also seem to have won over many users. Richard Kearney commended the product for its efficiency, allowing him to use Bluetooth in his 2003 Tacoma. Another user, Michael, applauded the product’s portability, stating that it worked well with his small laptop in his car. Users also appreciated the inverter’s low noise level while in use.
Furthermore, the product’s long-term performance and durability have also been highly praised. As noted by user T. Estrick, the product has remained sturdy, durable, and reliable even after several years of use. Despite the numerous positive reviews, the product has also received its share of criticism. Several customers expressed disappointment over the product’s reliability and functionality. For instance, user Mumbles complained about the product going into fault mode without anything plugged in. Nursing101 shared a similar experience, stating that the product did not work the first time it was used right out of the box.
Other users have had issues with the product’s longevity and its impact on other devices. Derek Ramp, for instance, lamented how the product burned through three fuses in his truck after just two uses. Another customer, Just me, was upset that the product broke the auxiliary power outlet in their new car after one use.
Lastly, some customers questioned the product’s power capabilities. Charles Stark noted that the product doesn’t do anything a cigarette adapter wouldn’t do and that it doesn’t power much. Mike also reported that the inverters do not work properly, turning on and off every second, making it impossible to charge. He further criticized the company’s customer service for not responding to messages for help or warranty.
What do the stars speak of?
Opinions about this product were divided in such a proportion among the buyers.
I was really worried because I have an air mattress that has a built in pump, i didn’t know if that was going to be an issue. But damn! This thing really pulled through and did an amazing job. Totally need this if you’re inflating beds/floats on a camping trip. Totally awesome.
Goes in fault mode without anything plugged in! 🤬

Great for road trips, solid, and cost effective!
I bought the 300W Power Inverter for our family road trips, and it’s been an absolute lifesaver, especially for my wife. It allows her the convenience to use her breast pump on the go, ensuring our little one is always taken care of, no matter where we are. What I personally love about this inverter are the built-in USB-A ports. They’re perfect for charging our devices without needing to juggle extra adapters. The inverter itself is compact, easy to use, and really delivers on performance. It’s made our travel experiences smoother and more comfortable, knowing we can power what we need, when we need it. A must-have for any family on the move!
Frank Y –
Excellent product
I read reviews that said it would blow a fuse in the vehicle if over amps but they have fixed that issue. Even given a short circuit on the output only puts it into alarm and it returns to normal when the short is removed. It delivers full rated power and works perfectly!

DO NOT BUY! Unreliable and inconsistent power
If you use this for tiny items, it works fine. If you use it for anything heavier-duty, ie laptop, small electric devices, the power cuts out constantly making the device you’re trying to power unusable

Part of a Bugout Kit
I just wanted this to have something for emergency use. We put it in the car and leave it there. If the power grid goes down, there’s the car battery until the solar generator is up and going. I like that it’s there. Just in case.

Don’t order
Order did come fast, plugged it in to the car and not even five minutes later it burned up the port and blew all my fuses and I was only charging two iPhones. so now this little purchase is going to cost me much more money so don’t buy this product

Good inverter
Excellent for the price, works great. Doesn’t crap out like the low-amp models
Mike Williams –
Mostly great
Wish the cord was a little longer, but it works like a charm. We’ve ran a laptop on it during longer road trips for the kids to watch movies. Charges several devices at once with a pretty good charge time and not overheating.

Best inverter so far
Have used different inverters before none seem to be as good quality as this one especially for the price 👍🏽on / off switch actually works unlike others
Brian –
Works great but …
I’ve been using this for a year now. I am nomadic, living in a Prius. This inverter has worked flawlessly. However as others have said the outlets are too close together. Cannot plug two devices in at same time also cannot plug usb in when left outlet has a three prong plug in it. Serious design flaw. Did you bother testing spacing before releasing it? Evidently not ! Reissue a wider unit and it will be worth 5 stars.
JEBates –
perfect for travelling in a car
ultimately used this to run a heated pad for my furry friends during a long trip, and to charge some devices while I drove. construction is compact, sturdy, and the cord was definitely long enough to reach back from the drivers seats to the seats immediately behind. didn’t notice any impact on my driving or peripherals such as heat/ac.
Muy buena herramienta, tiene buena calidad y se ajusta a la descripción del fabricante –

Works great, no issues, hasn’t over heated
No issues yet with this product. Works well with my laptop. Just be weary of the size of your plugs. Apple’s products take up a substantial amount of space. Hasn’t overheated with extended use.

Useful and reliable
I’ve had this inverter for over 9 years now, taken it on multiple cross country trips, including ones that have involved car camping where this was our only source of 110 AC power for days at a time. I originally bought it after such a trip where we found the 1 amp USB slots that were factory-installed in our SUV didn’t put out enough juice to recharge my wife’s iPad while she used it, or even get it to a full charge in a reasonable amount of time when she wasn’t using it. Since then this inverter has powered laptops, portable DVD players, iPads, and phones, often all at the same time, while providing steady power and not overheating, thanks to its built-in fan. I think the few people who have had problems with this are either trying to use it with devices that draw too many amps, and/or their car’s electrical system is limited and not designed for such an inverter (see further explanation below. So my advice is: 1. Stick to the devices it (and your car’s electrical system) were designed to provide power for, and avoid amp-hungry appliances like power tools and coffee makers I’ve seen mentioned in the low reviews (SMH). 2. Check the specifications of your car’s electrical system and its output from its cigarette lighter outlets before you buy this inverter, and before you jump to blaming this inverter when things go wrong. Car cigarette lighters are practically never designed to be on a circuit all by themselves, and depending on the car model the cigarette lighter could be on the same circuit only with low-draw components like dashboard lights and overhead interior lights (many of which would not necessarily even draw current at the same time that often), or it could be on the same circuit as a high-draw component like, say, your car’s air conditioning system. That is going to make a big difference as to how much additional load that circuit your cigarette lighter is able to handle, and thus will affect what you can plug into the inverter. I personally have used this in a 2011 Toyota Venza, 2011 Chevy Malibu, 2017 Mazda 6, and a rental in 2016 that was either a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon, and again, never had any issues in any of these cars, but other vehicles (including newer generations of these same models) may have the issues I mentioned above.

Fried my laptop charging port
Said it could charge a laptop – plugged it in, it lit up like it was charging for a second and then stopped – thought maybe it just didn’t work at all, but when I got home and plugged my laptop in, the entire charging port was fried and would never charge again. Come to find out this should not be used with laptops like it suggests – too strong.

Works like a charm!!
Had a small inverter I was using to hook up Christmas lights (3 sets of 100 lights) on my jeep, but the fuse kept blowing. Bought this one and haven’t had a problem! Love that I can plug it in and use the switch to turn it off instead of plugging and unplugging every time!!

Really bad electrical design
So, I wanted an inverter that I could use to run small power tools and thought this might work. Unfortunately, I plugged in a tool that needed 480W, which I found out later, and caused the 300W inverter to fail. That’s on me. I decided to see how this inverter was designed and it’s quite odd. First, I figured I’d popped a fuse in the circuit but when I examined the circuit board, I saw a 50A fuse! That takes 600W (at 12VDC) to pop! Here’s the thing. Fuses are sized to protect the components with the lowest wattage rating. So, if you have a circuit where the “weakest” part can only handle 350W @ 12VDC, then your fuse should be 25A (300W). This means if the system sees a load greater than 300W, the fuse will blow before the “delicate” 350W component. That was not the case with this inverter and obviously, an internal component failed at the 480W load instead of a fuse. Sad. In short, a proper electrical design is where the fuse is purposely “weaker” than the lowest wattage component in the circuit, so it fails first. Just not impressed with this inverter.

AC Ports Don’t Work
The USB ports work well. The two AC ports, however, do not work at all. Total waste of money. Do not buy.
