Good but Wrong Product info – It’s a Modified not Pure Sine Wave Inverter
I ordered this product because it I needed a pure sine wave inverter with 3000 watts or more. But the information on the Amazon page gave conflicting information. On one part of the information, it read “modified sine wave,” but on another part it said “pure sine wave.” I got the same confusion from people who had bought the inverter. Some said “modified” and some said “pure.” So there was only one way to find out for sure, and that was to buy it and look at the manual and also use an oscilloscope to objectively see what kind of wave form this inverter was putting out. One way I tested the inverter was to see if it would charge my Anker Solix F2000. If it could not charge the Anker, it had to be “modified” sine wave. And sure enough, the Anker would not charge. Then I put it on the oscilloscope, and low and behold, the wave form was clearly modified with its boxy form, which is different from the wavy form of the pure sine wave. Besides all that, the actual manual in the box clearly said “modified sine wave.” But had the product information been clear, I would never have purchased this product because I needed the extra benefits a “pure sine wave” inverter carries with it, such as the ability to power or charge some electronics that are sensitive and need either home electricity (which is “pure”) or an inverter that closely mimics home electrical waveform current, like the “pure sine wave” inverters. So for everyone else in the future looking for a “pure sine wave” inverter, this is NOT one. It is “modified sine wave,” and I hope Amazon makes this clear in the product webpage information without the confusion. Needless to say, I had to send the product back and request a refund due to the false and confusing information on the product page. I’ve included a picture of the manual which states “modified sine wave” as further verification. In the defense of the actual product (aside from the confusing product page info) the inverter did power a hair dryer that pulls over 1,500 watts with ease, as it should have. That was good. But still not what I needed. Hopefully this review will save someone else the trouble I had to deal with.

Nice power inverter for use with RV
We haven’t used this inverter a whole lot yet. So far it is working well. We were able to charge several cell phones with it. We put it in our trailer. It did drain the trailer batteries some but we expected that. I am not sure how much of the trailer batteries was due to the inverter versus other power usage in the trailer. Overall we are satisfied so far. Time will tell how well it lasts.

I gave this as a gift to my son and his wife. They have an ice cream truck. Prior to this purchase, they had to use a generator when they were at festivals. The generator is noisy, smelly and uses a lot of gas. Now all they have to do is drive the truck and the inverter/converter keeps the ice cream freezer cold and the ice cream frozen.
