After issues with the initial setup I was going to return it. Gave it another try glad I did. Work really well the setup take a little bite of time to get going but once it does your good. I do have an occasional and sort time issue when it losses Bluetooth connection with phone will reconnect quickly and your back a running. I would recommend that if you are going to get watch a few videos online to help with setup and be patient.
Works great when it finally connects, unfortunately i live in a small town and am at my destination 95% of the time before it finally connects…….useless for drives under 15 min.

This is going in the trash because the connection is so lagging and unstable with Pixel 8 pro. Just tried it again this week and it’s connected for 10 minutes or so then disconnects… junk.

I’ve been using this product since Dec 2022 in a 2017 vehicle; so it was easy to set up for me being tech savy and that connect pretty seamlessly once it’s connected for the first time… Only thing about this design is that my vehicle usb port is vertical and after like year and 3months my orginal android got a short in the cord. So be mindful of the cord and probably get little extender to reduce wear and tear.

Great device but failed to work.
This was a great device for wireless Android Audio but failed to work after 10 months of using. The MA1 would not connecting to Bluetooth and won’t factory reset. I tried contacting Motorola support with no response for warranty replacement.

Works great until it dies in the heat
My original one worked flawlessly for a little over a year until one hot summer day, it disconnected. It would eventually reconnect, but then disconnect again. I spent hours troubleshooting, trying to get it to work again, but I was unsuccessful. Since I had gotten used to the convenience of having Android Auto (especially Google Maps) on my car’s infotainment screen while keeping my phone in my pocket, I ordered another. That one worked flawlessly for about a year then disconnected. Once again, spent a few hours troubleshooting before giving up. I’m now giving up on this device for now and trying another brand. I may return and consider the price an annual fee if I can’t find another device that works as effortlessly.

Suddenly Stopped Working
I loved this device and only have had it since January. Out of the blue today it stopped working and my car will no longer recognise it. It is not my car, I know this because it works with other cables. I am unsure about a warranty and do not know what to do because I obviously cannot return it at this point. I am very disappointed.

Intermittently disconnects and now completely stopped working
I’ve had the device installed now or a couple months. It often decides to disconnect and reconnect randomly sometimes not reconnecting until the car has been restarted. Now it feels to connect at all no matter what I do. Device gets super hot all the time and I think this may be causing some issues.

Had been looking at different options for wireless android auto. Decided on motorola. Very simple to sync to. Works really well. Small problem I found. It does have a tendency for XM Radio to be a little choppy. (Using xm on my phone) When using navigation. Its Flawless. Calls crystal clear. Would give it 5 stars if there no problems with xm radio. I give it a thumbs up.

Works Great Until it Dies
I bought this item at the very end of January and it has been a dream to use. The USB port in my car is a little finicky, so turning it into wireless AA was the perfect solution. However, the other day as I was driving, the device literally “cancelled” my connection and it never came back. The lights blink, but nobody’s home. It no longer connects my phone to Android Auto, even after a factory reset, and is now useless junk. I believe I paid $70 for this device then, and got less than 6 months of use out of it before it died. Not great. I tried to contact product support to see if they’d replace the unit, but everything I see says support ended shortly after I bought it.

I’ve been using this Android Auto adapter in my Jeep Gladiator for more than two months, and it works perfectly. It takes 20-30 seconds to connect after you start the car, but then Android Auto pops up on the screen and works exactly like it does when I use a cable. There’s no lag, and I’ve no problems with it dropping out. I highly recommend this!

This product works when it wants to. It disconnects at least 2 times per 30 minute drive. It attempts to stay connected even when my car is off and I have been out of the car for a few minutes. When I attempt to disconnect in the car or upon getting out of the car, it will continue to reconnect and will not allow me to disconnect unless I unplug it from my car…. even with the car off. I only gave it a 3 star because it is great when it works properly. … So buyer beware.

Great wireless android auto adaptor
We purchased a 2024 KIA Telluride and were surprised that it only supported wired android auto. Did a little research and found this adaptor for Android Auto. Please note this only works for Android devices and not Apple devices. The install was easy and it works great. It connects every time I get in the car and does not drop out.

Following the manual, but the green light is blinking continuously after the Bluetooth is paired (no info in the manual what it means), and the car (Mazda 3) does not show anything about android auto. Android version 12, Android Auto version

Connection issues are painfully annoying
I don’t usually write reviews but here I am. Im giving this 2 stars because when this device works (for the brief amount of time that it does work) it works well. However, it connects initally for maybe 10_15 minutes with no problem, then proceeds to disconnect and connect constantly to the point that I now just unplug from the vehicle and this is literally everytime I drive. At this point, it’s not worth the money. Im sure there’s a much better option out there.

Haven’t had it for 6 months yet and it’s dropping connection.
It sometimes disconnects and reconnects while I’m using it to navigate with Google Maps. I had tried all the reset. Making sure I had my update on my phone. Still the same problem. Very disappointing Motraola. You should spend a bit more money and get something more dependable.

A big step backwards
We’re unable to use this device with more than 1 phone, so when my wife and I switch driving this car, only 1 of us can use Android Auto. This device is therefore not worth buying. Also, the double sided tape is useless. It doesn’t keep the device stuck to the car at all

It’s unfortunate that this stopped working properly. After a couple months, it disconnects, on and off. I unplugged, and plugged back in and it still continues to disconnect. My husband purchased one also, around the time I did, and he’s having issues as well. I’d advise to look into other options.

The Motorola M1 Wireless Android Car Adapter was fantastic at first. It allowed me to connect to Android Auto with my Samsung phone wirelessly, letting me listen to music, use Google Maps, and access other features without dealing with cords. However, the product died or quit working within about 15 months. It was great while it lasted, but I expected more durability for the price.

This product is fantastic. Easy to pair, works as you would expect it to. I would normally recommend it to anyone if it weren’t for the fact that I’ve had two of them die in less than 2 years. I have a feeling that they’re not able to withstand hotter days. Eventually it will disconnect and stay on a white light, never to reconnect again. Consider a different wireless AA device that is less prone to heat death, or accept the fact that you’re going to have to take this out of your car every time you’re done driving to extend the life of the device as long as possible.

Awesome device when it works…lasted 15 months.
I loved this device when I first got it. It had a couple hiccups in the beginning where it would disconnect and reconnect but that symptom continuously got worse over the next 10 to 12 months. I got in today and the device fully stopped being recognized. I tried it in two other vehicles and it is not working at all. Very disappointing, especially for a Motorola product. Wireless Android auto is amazing, I would just try a different module instead of this one.
