It was a trick getting the holder set in place with my phone in the position I wanted it. That did work for many months, then the base broke from my six-year-old passenger trying to climb over it. It was not very durable, so I won’t buy another one.

I have a case on my phone, so I could not use it to charge my phone. But it had to be plugged in to operate the holder of the phone. So could not plug in both.

This is by far the best way to mount a phone in your car. Unfortunately, one of the screws holding it up fell out. It still worked for a long time but eventually the bracket weakened and now the weight of the phone overpowers it and it droops down so it cannot be seen.
