We tried using the sticky mounted type cell phone holders but with the hot weather the adhesive doesn’t seem to stick very well. The weight of the cell phone would often shift the mount or just fall off the dashboard. This cell phone holder was easy to install….just insert it into a cup holder and adjust accordingly.

Tired of phone sliding off the seat when I brake too hard or standing it up on dash to read navigation instructions, this was bought for my wife’s 2015 Odyssey and my 2005 CRV and/or 2009 Escape, which it works equally well in either. It might not be tallest available but it adjust fine height-wise for my needs. It easily contorts to just the right position for easy viewing. I do wish it was just a bit taller but otherwise it is great. The dash of my truck is not conducive for a suction cup style holder and I did not want a holder stuck on my windshield. The vents in my truck are round so the other styles would not work on the vent louvers but my truck has a dual cup holder under the stereo on the dash. The expansion plugs press against the inside edge and catch just under the tension lever perfectly.
