I bought this for the purpose of registering my new battery, and it worked well when I found and followed a YouTube video for it. But I think it has a lot of additional functions that could be beneficial – it would be even better if there is more info on what it can be used for, and how (YouTube video would be great!) I found some review videos but maybe the manufacturer can provide some even better?

Great scanner so far
Had the scanner for a bit over a month and works great so far. We primarily work on reach forklifts and other medium duty construction equipment and the scanners on the tool trucks do not offer much support or are very expensive. We decided to try this scanner and have had luck reading the industrial cummins engines as well as hooking into our own service trucks that are classed as ‘medium duty’ and traditional scanners often don’t work on.

It was very helpful showed all my code readings precisely on my BMW f10 I have a 528i I learnt of a code that my mechanic never told me I had a drivetrain malfunction and it’s bcz my car was converted from xdrive to rear wheel drive which I only discovered after useage of this product installed my airbags and it showed exactly what was wrong why my airbag codes didn’t go away reset perfectly I’d definitely recommend you to try its worth the price and I even use it to check codes on my Chevrolet very easy to use

Do not use on International trucks!
On my 2018 international with maxxforce engine I plugged in to pull codes and cleaned the 7th injector due to fuel pressure codes to it. When I cleared the codes after the cleaning and driving it set a ” Tamper” code which put the truck into 5mph derate immediately and required international software to clear the code and perform a Regen. Tool works ok for some trucks and certain codes but be careful if using on an international, if you clear after treatment codes even if you made the repairs it’s going to derate you because this scanner can’t perform the correct operations to clear emissions codes properly.

Actually Works for Rear Brake Service Mode!
Tried to find a reasonably priced scanner so I could replace rear brake pads myself. Ordered and checked other scanners that say they will put my Mini in rear brake service mode but when I received the scanners they did not do what they claimed. This unit did what I wanted it to do at almost the same price. The manual that came with it was a real plus in that it explained how to maneuver through the various folders to find the service I needed to perform. In short, did what it said it would do for a fair price. 5 stars for me.

I have two Kenworth t680 one 2016 and the other 2019 and the devise only works on my 2016 and the 2019 keep giving me this communication error/ ecu no response. Communication and I updated it! Does this device work on multiple trucks and does it work on newer trucks! I really like the way it works on my 2016! Please Help!

Avoid paying products that does not work i tried this on my Dodge ram 1500 from 2015 and it does not work! It has a problem reading the ECU. Always saying ECU error communication interrupted. I tried it on two cars, did not work on either of them.

Why won’t this work on my 2024 Kenworth T480? When we run it, it gives a message along the lines of “invalid communication port”. Please advise if an adapter is needed and if so, which one. Or, is it something else? We have tried updating and that did not work.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! It allows me to diagnose my 2015 KW T680 paccar. Shows all the fault codes and even live data on almost all components. The best part is it will force a regen on a paccar engine, which sold the deal for me. Clears all codes and is easy to use and understand. You must connect to the internet to activate it and update software and you have to be plugged into a vehicle(doesn’t have to be truck) to power it on, but it’s all worth it imo. Very pleased and I would definitely recommend!

T-680 PACCAR
Love this, gives me the code and fault so I know what I’m talking about before I go into the dealership for repair. Also allows me to clear most codes if I choose to do so. Haven’t had to try a forced regen and I don’t believe it will do this but overall I am very pleased with this unit.

Cost saver for Diesel RV maintenance and engine codes
The Device has OBDII, 6 and 9 pin round Heavy connectors included. Have used as a live engine monitor as well as to troubleshoot gremlins and engine lights. Was able to force a regen on my 2009 ISL 400hp as well. Would recommend getting printer to be able to save live data measurements when troubleshooting, but overall great tool for the money. Menu needs work, but after a few attempts was able to navigate to the screen I needed each time.
