I have only had the AstroAI T8 2500A jump starter for a week, but I did test it. So easy to use. The Amazon reviews can be misleading as they lump the 1500A, 2000A and 2500A jump starters together. The complaints about the boost button are irrelevant as the design has changed. I completely disconnected the battery from my 2008 Toyota Sienna V6 and hooked up the T8 jump starter. Pushed the “Boost” button (MUCH improved over earlier models). The minivan started immediately! The T8 charge went from 100% to 95%. The company was very responsive to my questions both by phone and email. And there’s a 2 year warranty. The storage temperature is not to exceed 158 degrees F. I bought 3! Time will tell how long the T8 lasts.
Starts everything I have connected to too. But unlike other brands you have to hold the power button for way too long to turn on. I don’t use is enough to remember I have to hold power down so I wrote it in the box.

This unit is junk. Worked for two months, has an easy life here as I only use it in emergencies, but now won’t jump anything. Power light doesn’t even come on unless it’s charging. Just use it on my regular cars. Nothing tough even. Run away.

Actual Capacity Is Lower Than Stated
This works as a jump starter, just fine. The issue is, that in the specs on the amazon page, it claims that it is 12v, 15200mAH. This would mean that the battery is 182WHr. The reality is, that this is a 4S1P LiPo Config, so 14.8V, 3.8Ah (56.24WHr) battery, and is only 15200mah when used as a 3.7V battery for charging via USB. I wouldn’t care about this too much if this was stated anywhere on the Amazon page, but it is not. It doesn’t bother me that the listing is advertised like this, I am sure this is mostly due to other brands claiming that their batteries capacity at 3.7V as their 12V capacity, but where is the actual capacity in the Product Info section, or literally anywhere on the page?

Have used it twice successfully
Friend’s vehicle is waiting for a part so the battery drained while waiting. The starter solenoid would chatter so we knew it wasn’t dead, just low. Twice in that condition we have used this to start it, used only 3% of the unit’s battery charge each time. I love that when it is connected it automatically turns on and in our case ‘start’ was on the screen right off the bat. the vehicle started was an ’06 Kia with a V6.

super practical and fail safe use
Very satisfied so far, used 3x on dead battery discharged to about 5v. So much quicker and easier than using jumper cables. One use does take the jump starter charge from 100% to 80%-84% but you can always charge back to 100%. Display told me right away that I had to use the stronger boost charge to start the car. Not sure about keeping the kit in the car at all times (heat tolerance could be better).

Dead car battery can happen to anyone
I had left the car doors open too long unloading stuff. When I tried to start the car the battery was dead. I called AAA and after 5 hours waiting and multiple calls, I called a friend of mine. I thought he was coming with jumper cables. Instead he connected his A1 car charger. On the 1st try my engine turned over and I was able to drive home. The next day I ordered an A1 car charger for each of my cars. Just the piece of mind it gives me is worth it.

They shipped the wrong item to start but I filed with Amazon and they shipped the correct thing. The first time I needed it it started a battery on a 2024 ford f150 that was completely dead. Would recommend getting one.

Life saver in an emergency
This starter was amazingly easy to use and saved me multiple times when my battery was shot. If you don’t have one of these in your emergency kit i recommend grabbing this tool. It does not charge the battery but allows the alternator to kick in by boosting the starter

I was definitly sceptical about this jump pack when i bought it. My brother-in-laws 2003 F250 sat for over 2 years. We needed to move it…. battery was completely dead….. i hooked this up, and on the first try the truck turned right over, too bad there was no gas in it…. i ended up using this pack 3 times to start that truck, all on the initial charge, before it didnt have enough charge to jump it again. 3 jumps, on a completwly dead battery is not bad….. the battery is so dead, letting the truck run for an hour, and taking it for a 10 mile drive, the battery was still dead, and would not start at all…. i am thouroghly impressed with this pack. Between its available power per charge, and its compact size, definitly worth the purchase!

Had a dead battery in a car that jumper cables couldn’t fix. When we took this thing out of the package, we turned it on and saw the battery level was at 76%. Hooked it up to the car battery, pressed the boost button and sure enough, the car started like it was nothing. After charging up the battery, the product had 61% charge left. That means that I could boost a few more dead batteries before I even have to charge this thing. Not my first product from this company and definitely won’t be my last.

Ordered the charger yesterday and has been delivered today. As you can see, came with everything it claimed and especially surprised that it came with the AC-DC converter. Came with a 75% charge right out of the box. It came with a cloth carrying bag instead of hard case but that’s ok. I purchased it for my work van which has a nasty tendency to drain battery when its turned off but still has key in ignition which happened to me 3 days ago. I should not have to be concerned about being stranded again on the road and having to wait on co-worker to give a jumper. Seems like I’m all set. Thanks Amazon.

So my car had a battery that was on its way out. One day it was so dead that I couldn’t even jump start it. I had gotten this, and wanted to try it. To my surprise it worked on the first try. Brought my car back to like. Now the battery was kinda small, only 520 cca, but it was at 10.6 volts. Vehicle was a 4cyl.

It is great for what I bought it for
I am completely amazed at the size of this thing and the power that it has. I purchased it to start my Lawn Mower, Generator and to have it as an emergency power source in the event of a power outage. As chance would have it, I needed it sooner than expected. I use my Lawn Mower to haul wood, it has a large engine and is ver difficult to start if it has not been run for a month or two. In this case, when I jumped on it was completely dead, I hooked this thing up and cranked away for quite a long time before she fired up. It only dropped it to 88%. Later that day, power went out, so I hooked it up to a 12 volt light, 100 watt equivalent, and powered it for 8 hours before I went to bed. By that time, it was down to around 10%. All in all I am fairly impressed an it should be noted that I have not tired cranking my 5.7 liter truck or any vehicle engine yet. I am not paid or encouraged to write a review by anybody and will only write real reviews on products I like and I will tell you what I have used them for. I will also tell you when I think something is a piece of crap, no sugar coating.
