Was nervous this wouldn’t get the job done but it did. Had my car in storage for 9 months and assumed the battery would be dead, which it was. Used this on the completely dead battery and it started instantly. I had to drive around a bit on short trips immediately after jumping it and obviously the battery hadn’t charged yet from the alternator but I whipped this thing out and it started my 2001 Toyota 4Runner 5 more times on one charge. For the price this thing is awesome.
Jump starts my vehicle sometimes works, sometimes drains from 100 to empty and does not even crank over engine. Wish I would have bought one of the bigger models with more cranking amps. If thinking of this get a bigger model if you have a v8 of any size.

At first I was ready to return it because it didn’t work for me. Truth is my battery was bad a lnd not just dead. I bought a new battery which was also completely dead when I brought it home, I decided to try the Jumper again. The trick is to leave it on for a couple minutes even hit the boost button. So the battery in my truck, from not being used, went down to zero volts. Anyone who’s tried to charge a battery with a modern day charger knows it won’t charge if the charger can’t detect a volt or two. On a whim I spent a total of 42 bucks for a small battery jumper fully expecting it to not work and or not work well. Much to my amazement I connected it turned it on waited 20 seconds and tried to start the truck which didn’t hesitate whatsoever in which to start. This thing is AMAZING. A buddy of mine has a boat with a marine battery (much bigger than a standard truck battery. Jumped that thing too! Also has a couple USB ports that can be used for a cellphone etc. it also has a light. what’s super nice is it’s a small device that could easily fit in a glove compartment. It’s made out of hard plastic which seems to be very durable. Battery life is what I expected. You get 2 used before you have to recharge this device. This may not seem like much but it’s putting out a lot of amps. I literally can not find one fault it this product .

Works to unlatch the hood of a 911
Bought this to see if I could use it to a) unlatch the hood of my 911 (996). The battery is in the front trunk you see, and if the battery is dead, you can’t open the hood to jump start it. The solution is the jump terminal at the driver’s feet. I was able to hook this up, and struggled to figure out what to do until I read the manual three times, and then found the tiny start button on the jumper dongle. Once I hit that, the car got enough juice in about a minute to where I could unlock the hood. Then I decided to see if I could start the car. Completely dead battery. Hooked the cables to the battery this time, and within a minute I had lights coming on, cranked and it started. Cool. It really works.

I have a few different jump batteries from different brands for different vehicles and this one is by far the worst. It’s finicky and doesn’t work over half the time, when other jumpers start right up. I think it’s because the cables are junk more so than the battery.

The day it arrived I charged it with my MacBook Pro USB-c charger for less than an hour until fully charged. An hour later my car would not start. I hooked ip up (VERY easy and SAFE), let it charge for 2-3 min, and the car started as soon as I pushed the start button. Charger showed it had dropped from 5 to 3 bars, which I assume means it is good for two starts before needing a recharge, but it is a tiny little device (as compared to long jumper cables and a 12 volt car battery), and since most cars today include USB outlets I suspect it can be charged while driving. It takes little room to keep in trunk and could be a lifesaver–for me or just helping another driver. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
