BAD PRODUCT…TWICE!
My 2011 Bostitch finally gave out. Have a Craftsman garage so I was looking forward to adding this compressor to the “Red Stuff.” Ordered the first unit last week. It had a bad connection where hose meets the tank. Would not fill with air and what went in leaked out at that point. Amazon has a great return program so, rather than getting a refund, I replaced the unit with another. Received today. This one holds air, but the gauge housing is loose at the tank and can be moved left and right instead of stationary. Begging to eventually spring a leak. This time I am returning for $$$ and will research for other brands. Can’t recommend this product at all.

This is a small but very functional compressor, which is reasonably quiet and refills quickly. I used it to replace a 30 gallon, 3 HP compressor, which I gave to my son. No, it won’t do all the things my old much larger one would do, but is very portable and easy to store. If you need a reasonably priced, but still capable compressor, and don’t need it to blow your sprinkler lines, or power a wood shop with multiple workers; this may be the compressor for you.

Unusable, Hose Does Not Fit Connectors on the Compressor
It’s probably a good product, but I am unable to use it because the connector on the hose does not fit the connectors on the the compressor. The male end goes into the female end of the hose (making a loop) but the male end of the hose does not go into the female connections on the compressor. The extra connectors that came in the bag fit into the compressor, but the one on the hose does not. The one on the hose is not removeable.

Does exactly what its designed to do. I have several different uses: tire pressure fill ups, paint gun, sand blaster, air hose cleaner…all of them work flawless. My only complaint is the noise…but that was expected. When filling up with air pressure this machine is LOUD. Also, side note…make sure you’re running a high volt outlet. I plugged this into a daisy chained outlet and the power this thing puts out, blew the circuit breaker. No complaints…works great, just loud and takes in a lot of power to run.

Charged it to pump up bicycle tires and would not start again after 1 attempt. Trash. Tried draining the tank so the pressure valve would reset. No function after. ordered new one. Crafstman is no good anymore. Ordered a replacement and it came delivered with a broken regulator valve. Therefore both Craftsman compressors didnt work. I am moving to something else.

The first one arrived in a state that leaked air and absolutely would not pressurize: I presume that the relief valve was stuck open. I returned it for a replacement and recieved a new one that is completely functional. I’m using it to inflate a car tire that leaks about 1/2 a psi per day. One day soon I’ll get that fixed, but this has allowed me to delay the inevitable for more weeks than I care to say. This is why I bought it, so I very much appreciate that it came with all the things I need to accomplish this task including – if I am not mistaken – a tire pressure gauge. Very nice. I have left it plugged in and pressurized for about three months and have only ever heard it run ten or fifteen seconds after I begin pumping up the tire, so it seems pretty airtight. And it doesn’t run for very long, suggesting that the compressor is well sized for the service. Very Happy.

Instructions Suck
Don’t try to follow the instructions in the box if you’ve never used an air compressor before. Just cut to the chase and go to Youtube. Once I got this set up, it has done everything I needed it to do. I would have given this 5 stars but getting started was totally frustrating.
