I got this summer of 2023 & have hardly used it since. Now it won’t even charge. It’s been with that red light for at least a week & no change! Not worth the price!

Although I did not get the model I ordered, an Av993 (I received an RV2011) it appears to be an efficient vacuum.

It is easy to use and program, well made. Picks up great. Hardly hear it runningAppearance good.

I had a Samsung Powerbot vacuum and was very impressed with how well it performed mechanically. and was very SMART because it uses camera technology! but it’s a bit pricey. Since the Shark brand has made a name for itself, I had high expectations from This Shark AV993 IQ Robot Vacuum. Mechanically, this vacuum performed as expected, but the so-called advanced navigation feature is the biggest downfall of this robot vacuum. This IQ robot lacks the IQ avoiding pretty much everything. It’ll bump into my desk trash bin and push it all over the room, run over your foot, and your fur baby’s tail instead of avoiding it, and get stuck and have to find it regularly, It’s like playing hide and seek with this robot vacuum 🤣 Also, this vacuum with its advanced navigation will always fail to reach its docking station when it is time to recharge. Once this Shark Robot Vacuum retires. I will look into other brands.

Product stopped charging and no customer service or support have tried multiple times,

Never docks on its self correct so it’s necessary for you to check it after every run or you’ll come back to a dead battery and even after mapping it doesn’t pickup like others I’ve seen. Would not recommend.

After 6 months started to get stuck, This robot was good at first, but then it started having issues. The company doesn’t offer any real maintenance services. Instead, they expect you to watch countless repair videos and then schedule a video call with someone to teach you how to fix it yourself. Eventually, the robot just stopped working, and there are no replacement parts available. It’s a waste of money because they don’t provide any technical support. Avoid this product.

I’ve used shark robot vacuums in the past but this one is terrible. It never successfully docks, it will just stop in the middle of the room with the brush rollers still on but won’t drive. If you try to dock it on the app nothing happens, and if you pick it up and place it on the charger the brush roller still won’t turn off. You have to wait for it to die to turn off and return to the charger. I thought it was a one time glitch but it does it every day I run the vacuum. I regret spending so much money on this

I ordered a Shark vacuum when I moved into my brand new home; I have plank vinyl flooring throughout, with a few area rugs. No pets and no kids, so the house is spotless. I ran the vacuum throughout the whole house about once a week and periodically in certain areas that I used frequently (i.e. touch up the dinette, etc.) I called the Help Desk, which took forever – verifying my information was painful as there was a bit of a language barrier, but once I got through that, the representative sent me a video chat, so she could see what the robot was doing. She then heard the “error code” for herself – the vacuum would only run for 2 seconds, give an error code, and claim there was something “under the unit”, even though it had been cleaned and the floor was flat. She said there is no way to repair it and I was past the time to return it. I paid nearly $300 for something that didn’t even function for one full year! It is very disappointing and as I didn’t pay the extra $40 for the protection, there was nothing she could do. Honestly, I shouldn’t have to pay an extra $40, just to have something covered that stops suddenly working within a year. This is an expensive little item here! This is the first review I’ve ever written on Amazon but I just wanted to get the word out to folks to either a) select another product, b) pay the extra 40 bucks or whatever and c) to proceed with caution! I don’t want anyone to pay the costly learning lesson that I had to experience!

I’ve owned this vacuum for about 8 months now and it can’t make it to the trash quick enough. More isn’t always better! I replaced a 2 year old Eufy that worked fine but I wanted a schedule, zoning and consistent pathing. Every day this thing has something stuck or is stuck somewhere or has some random issue. I have to search for it because it’s never back on the dock. Better vacuums for less money!
