The media could not be loaded. I noticed a lot of the bad things people were saying in the reviews had been fixed. I was able to easily move it into tight spaces and it turned right and left! It cleaned my floor better than any other vacuum I’ve had. You do have to empty it every 1 or 2 uses so far. I’m guessing that will be less the more and more you use it. I have no problems getting it to stand on its own. The bottom of it you can detach and take it to the stairs. It makes it a lot easier than just carrying the whole vacuum and it just stands there for you. I love this vacuum. It was a great deal for such and amazing working cleaning machine!
We bought this after seeing multiple people say they had thick/ shag carpet and it worked well for them. Well that was not the case for us! The vacuum legitimately sucked in our carpet and would not move. So it was powerful but when you have thick/plush carpet, that doesn’t work. Therefore if you have very thick carpet, it likely won’t work for you either.

New Dog, New Shark!
Last time I had a Labrador I had a shark navigator, it was the purple one. It worked better than a Dyson for pet hair, I loved that thing! I gave it to my sister when I moved to all hardwood floors and my dog passed away. She had dogs and the old Navigator is still going strong after probably a decade of use. We recently got a new chocolate lab and then recently moved into a carpeted home. I needed my vacuum back. This white professional version had a slight deal so I ordered it and it does not disappoint! I’ve been using a sub par vacuum for about a month and then this arrived. It picked up everything the other vacuum had missed in one pass and a full canister after doing the whole place. Just wow! I couldn’t be happier with our purchase!

The only issue with this vacuum is the length of the cord. It’s not that bad but a little bit longer would be perfect. What I like about this vacuum is all the options and controls are on the upper part of the vacuum. The ability to to adjust the suction and change from carpet to hard floor is all at your finger tips. No more bending over. It maneuvers like a dream. This is the perfect vacuum for me. I definitely recommend this especially if you have back issues.

Fine for very basic vacuuming
I have always had Shark Vacuums over the years, but the full-sized ones. Bought this one for doing light work and stairs. Definitely not like a traditional Shark, especially on picking up pet hair. Feels flimsy, parts don’t fit together perfectly. If you’re a full-sized Shark Vacuum user, this just doesn’t compare at all. But for the $, or super light cleaning, it’s fine.

Tomorrow will be one full month that I had had the Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away. I was surprised by the size of the box it was delivered in, as I expected it to be quite large but the box was fairly lightweight and the vacuum was really simple to put together. I purchased this based on others reviews and my very well known brand vacuum that I had previously died a not so slow, yet still horrible death. What has exceeded my expectations is the power of this vacuum. I thought my carpets were pretty clean before but this sure proved me wrong! I haven’t emptied it yet, but it seems pretty user friendly. One thing I also noticed, and that also made my dog quite happy was that is not nearly as loud as the last vacuum. Hopefully it will continue to last for years! So far would recommend.

Great vacuum at a reasonable price
We purchased this vacuum after our old Sears canister vacuum failed. Replacement parts are no longer available due to its age. The Shark vacuum seems to have great suction and emptying the dirt bin is easy. It’s heavier than our Dyson vacuum but the Dyson battery doesn’t last long enough to vacuum our entire house.

I have had one for my downstairs for several years and love it. So I decided to buy another one for upstairs. They are almost identical except the canister on the new one is almost half the size as my old one. Not sure why they would do that.

Don’t buy this vacuum
This vacuum is terrible. I have used it twice and hate it. I wasted my money. 1st it won’t stand on my carpet, it tips over. If you have anything more than a low pile carpet good luck. 2nd again if you have anything more than low pile carpet the suction doesn’t adjust enough. I can barely push the vacuum on the lightest suction. 3rd it doesn’t fit under the kick plate in my kitchen or bathroom. Only way you can vacuum is going straight on. 3rd design of emptying it, it has 2 latches to remove it, a real pain. I would really think before buying this shark. This is my 4th one and by far garbage.

Powerful vacuum but not user friendly
The Shark NV360 Navigator Lift Away Deluxe Upright Vacuum has strong suction. However, it is quite heavy and difficult to navigate, especially on carpet. I have been accustomed with past vacuum (Oreck and Dyson) to being able to pull the vacuum around the home with ease. Not so with this Shark. Also, the attachments that come with the vacuum are minimal. There was no brush for the floor, or small brush for baseboards. I had difficulty finding additional attachments to purchase, and ultimately went directly to the Shark website. The choices for this model are minimal and inferior to other brands I have had in the past. The brush bristles are so short that it is difficult to use the attachment without scraping the plastic and marring the wall or other surface.

Used to live in a garage for a bit and had rugs to make things a bit nicer. Moved into a new place and brought them with me and while I used an older vacuum I thought it was doing an alright job. Best Vacuum Ever
As you can see, the pile of my carpet is sort of a mini shag. It tends to mat down where I sit on my sofa. No other vac I’ve had over the years would fluff up that area (not even raking it worked) until now. This vac fluffs it up without much effort on my part. This vacuum can be a bit hard to push, because of the high suction. I solved that problem by loweing the suction (instructions included with the vac). My arthritic back is thankful. I also can’t believe the amount of dirt this vac picks up. You’d think I never vacuumed my carpet before. If you’re on the fence, try this one. All my old vacs, including a fairly new stick vac, and my old Hoover Windtunnel are heading for the trash

Where is the light kit?
Vacuumed yesterday. Received my new vacuum cleaner today. Re-vacuumed about 1/3 of the den and was amazed at how much dirt got pulled up! This machine advertises “light kit included”. There is no light on this machine short of the brush roll indicator. A real light would be nice. Assembly was super easy and maneuverability is great. If it had a light kit, I would have given 5 stars.

I bought this product the first time and the handle cracked within five minutes of using it. I ordered a replacement for it and this one came with a cracked handle. So I’m guessing that they just made a bad batch or that it is being handled improperly. So I’ll just have to go And get a different product

My total cost was $109.51(free shipping Amazon prime) I chose the cheapest version of this as “cosmetic scratches” wasn’t a concern as long as it would work as well as the reviews. Guess what? PERFECT CONDITION & as I wasn’t expecting until 7/19 I’d vacuumed using my Bissell lol LITERALLY finished & here came the UPS(Late for him 7:30 pm) Couldn’t resist so I revacuumed & HOLY SMOKES!!!! I think it’s overpriced for what it is. The canister is hard to empty because the sides inside aren’t flat, and so hard to wash then too. It picks things up but just ok- already slowing down only a few months in. I knew I wanted to return it but I was scared I wouldn’t find anything better so kept it. Eh. Not happy but better than nothing. Everything is overpriced now.

Suction works well at first but after awhile isn’t that great. Ive been hit in the head by this vacuum more times than I can count, It is rage inducing. The attachments don’t stay on the vacuum, I stuck them in the closet and actually forgot about them. The whole design of this vacuum is just horrible. I switched to a Bissell and have no regrets.

Not what I expected in a Shark
This is vacuum in my opinion does not work well. I do not have pets or small children and it still spits out popcorn pieces, bits or Pringle chips.. just about everything while on carpet. I do like that it does a pretty good job on bare floors and that you can easily hand clean the filters. The canisters are easy to open and use. I am now looking for a better vacuum.. this one just does not do an adequate job.

Short Cord, Great Suction
Negative – that is a freakin’ short cord for a vac. Positive – My Dyson died one week ago. This photo is what the Shark picked up in 35 x 30 space that had only gone one week of not being vacuumed. That is some badass suction! No idea about longevity but at this price, I know I won’t be angry when it dies. My last two Dyson’s only made it 5 years and 4 years, respectively. Argh.

Good but could be better
We recently had a shark vacuum that worked wonderfully in our house, but when it needed replacing, we ordered this one. Both models were left away, but this one appears to be a much more basic model. About pet hair removal, it has great suction For the job but easily gets tangled and caught up with junk in the rollbar. With three family members having longer hair, the hair quickly fills up the rollbar. After vacuuming to medium/large rooms and a hallway (all thick burbur carpet), I have to stop and clip away the hair so that it frees the vacuum to continue working. Since we have already used it, we will make do for now, but I would not recommend this vacuum for any normal household use. Also, The cord is shorter than the other model. With the previous model, I could go between two rooms easily, but for this model I need to use a different outlet for each room.

Great vaccum overall.
I love this vaccum. I have used it a dozen times so far on my very old linoleum, tile and carpet. It made my carpet look much better so the brushes work good. Great suction, light weight, easy to maneuver, easy to put together, clean and reassemble. Love the lift away feature! The attachments are good. I have cats and live in a dusty place; it is great at getting up all the hair and dust.

Works AMAZING on fine cat hair
We had a semi working old vacuum for the past seven months that we *thought* was working enough to get us by but finally decided to upgrade to a newer vacuum. The moment we brought this new vacuum into our space and started cleaning I kid you not the carpet looked brand new again. In just the living room I filled that massive tank up with cat hair and dust. I ended up emptying it out six more times throughout our very small one bedroom apartment. It cleaned dirt that was probably there way before us with ease. I’ve never had a vacuum clean pet hair this well. The only complaint I do have is that the small hose handle did start to feel uncomfortable after a short time but it still did a great job. But for the price this is very worth it

Lightwieght, but effective
Vacuum arrived on time. Easy to put together. Fairly quiet compared to other Sharp appliances we have used. Works great on low nap carpets. Takes a little effort to get through our bedroom carpeting, but suction is fine when adjusted for “carpet”. The remarks about tipsy are accurate, top heavy, but just be aware and no problems.
