You need the wiring harness that matches your vehicle, and you need to properly connect the wiring together and solder all connections. This could take some time so don’t be in a hurry. Also I would recommend updating the firmware before buttoning everything up. My issues are when a new song and artist change, the readout on the station doesn’t change unless you switch the channel and come back again. I had the unit to “blip” out once but figured it must have been cold. It’s still a decent unit but it’s not the latest greatest by Pioneer.

I wish I could record how it sounds! It’s amazing. Better than my factory radio by far. The amount of power, loudness and bass this stereo comes with, you don’t need an amplifier. Be careful, it might just blow your speakers. It’s easy to connect, very responsive, and POWERFUL!

Finally got it hooked up and the screen doesn’t work can’t do anything with the radio it’s got power but the screen is just blank

Will work and after a year or 2 it will start turning off by itself. All for $500

I put this in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee when my CD player stopped working. It works great and sounds great. I tried a different brand first and the radio reception was unacceptable, but this radio works great on both AM and FM. I love that I can play music from a memory stick (on the USB setting) and it will even play music from my phone through bluetooth on the IPAD setting. Great stereo. No complaints. It doesn’t have a CD player but just record things onto a memory stick instead, besides, CD players always break eventually, and sometimes they won’t play your homemade CDs. Had a little installation snafu until I watched a youtube video and realized I had to supply power to the remote start wire.
