A small but mighty speaker
I bought this speaker for our beach trip and it did not disappoint. It has pretty great sound for its size, and a decent battery life as well. It was easy to pack in my luggage, and we didnt have to worry about it getting splashed at the pool. The sound quality is quite good for such a small speaker, but I am not surprised, as JBL always has good speakers for a great price. It was easy to connect to my phone, and charging was relatively fast. I highly recommend this little guy for anyone who wants a compact speaker that can travel light and has a nice quality sound.

Looks over sound
I did some research prior to purchasing and knew the sound quality of the GO 2 wasn’t going to blow me away… it’s hardly better than the Mac Pro speaker (probably not better). But I bought it because it’s so cute and will suffice for my gaming needs. The battery is advertised to be 5 hours and that seems to be pretty accurate. It dies pretty frequently. Would look into other JBL products for actual music listening experience.

5 hr Battery? ONLY in their DREAMS
I purchased this mainly because of the Advertised 5-HOUR battery life. It actually lasts 1.5 to 2 hours if you’re lucky. 5 hours if turned on low and held up to your ear, but if you’re looking for something compact for outdoor listening look SOMEWHERE ELSE. Given that, the sound quality is Great, but that battery life is a game changer.

a system flow that makes it unusable
whoever designed the operation system for this speaker made a huge mistake that makes this speaker so annoying, I understand that a rechargeable speaker has to have a auto shut off feature when unused to save battery, but with all Bluetooth rechargeable speaker that I used they all never auto shut off when charging cable is connected and it’s connected to a device, but with this speaker it will ALWAYS auto shut off in one minute if the connected device is not playing any sort of media through the speaker, whether it’s connected to charging cable or not, so if you are playing a movie and paused it to do something and not played the movie back within a minute the speaker will shut off.. it’s so annoying and useless. you got to go back and forth to turn it on every time. also the battery hardly lasts for 4 hours on medium volume, speaker sound quality is very avarage. hope they can fix those issues in next models.

I love this speaker! It works great, is a good size, and I’m excited to travel with it. It does have physical connectivity for charging or connecting an aux cord but is not water resistant if using those; is supposed to be water resistant if using Bluetooth but haven’t tested that yet.

At 9 months stopped working
For an inexpensive ($22.88) speaker it worked fine. My husband did not like the sound quality. It sounded decent to me. Used it (probably 4-5 a week, 2-3 hrs at a time) while I was cleaning around the apartment. At 9 months it just stopped working. I guess as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Update: After letting my speaker sit in a drawer for about a month I tried to use it one more time. IT WORKED! It worked all day long yesterday. It might have been the connection that was causing the issue. I’m upping my overall rating by 2 stars.

I bought this to use with my kitchen TV. Sound quality of the TV is poor. I bought the earphone cable to connect to the TV but I can not get it to work. Sound stops on the TV but doesn’t come out of the speaker. Speaker works fine with my phone through Bluetooth. It would be nice if it came with instructions. It’s not complicated but it would help with issues.

I ordered this speaker to use on bus rides to school becuase the van I ride in doesn’t have working speakers. It connects really easily. The only thing I don’t like is that it isn’t loud, it’s on the quiet side. Although I did only pay 21 dollars for it. I guess you get what you pay for!
