I got this because JBL is a well known audio company and the reviews said this was the one to get for this size. I have a cheap unknown Chinese Bluetooth speaker of the same size that was about 1/4 of the price and it works so much better than this. I’m going to keep it because it fits my needs, but don’t let the reviews hype you up. It’s not as loud as they say. The bass is there, but it isn’t great. The treble does suck though, when it’s louder the crispness turns crunchy and I’m worried it’s gonna blow the speaker out. The housing does seem well-built which is why they didn’t get a 1 star. If your music has a lot of bass AND treble, it will distort. Range is fine at best. Ease of use is good though, super easy to get it going! Controls are simple!

For the price I paid it is rediculously small. If I wanted a tiny cheap thing I could have bought 3 at Walmart. Disappointed, but I’m in too much of a hurry to send it back.

Powerful little box
When I pulled this out of the box, I thought I was scammed because this thing is so small and it looks much bigger in the pictures but omg the sound that comes out of this thing is crazy. It is twice as loud as the speakers in my car. I ordered this because my new iPhone 15 aux won’t hook up to my car like my old phone did. This thing does and it fills my car with sound so much better than my old car speakers did. I 100% recommend this cute little speaker if you are looking for a portable way to bring your music with you.

It’s sounds good and works good the speaker only last 5 hrs. I got it to replace my Alexa for rain sounds at night. The cord is only 4 in to charge it super short if you try a longer cord it messes up

JBL speakers are some of the best in the world. They are the preferred speaker in the music industry. In most cases the smaller the item the quality of sound drops like a lead balloon. For the size along with the cost this small blutooth speaker is amazing. The sound is full, rich, and the clarity is some of the best for anthing this size. I’m certain you can get better all the way around but you’ll have to spend $100 or more to get true audiophile quality.

Worked great until micro usb charging port broke
Loved this speaker for a couple wks of regular use then the micro usb charging port starting causing trouble. Had to manipulate the cord to get it to charge in a variety of ways until it would no longer charge. Took it apart to see if I could get it to charge. Charging port was held in place by a piece of tape . . . Not good and couldn’t fix it.

If you’re considering buying this I’d recommend saving and buying a bigger model. Mine came defective it worked for a day then it started to crackle, lost charge within an hour and would drop bluetooth signal randomly. Idk if mine was a returned one that was wet or just the bad one out of the bunch but I will say it when it worked for that 12 hour time period it wasn’t that loud bass was not the greatest and honestly it’s only like 4 watts you can look at the specs. So I wasn’t expecting hi fidelity but the only thing this would be useful for is if you got a working model and used it in the shower or the bathroom other than that it’s not a lot of power to hear out of room and struggles hard with base but of course it’s up to you but me I’m waiting to save and get a newer bigger jbl speaker and hopefully that one won’t have the same problem and can actually push out some music. Oh and also it comes with a tiny cord thats for the older model phones not the usb c so you have to try and charge it with like a 3 inch cord lol.
