I love this thing.
Bought it for a factory job that’s way too loud for this speaker to do its job. Bout a week in, I found out it fit perfect in my hard hat. It has been amazing for the last 6 months. I’ve dropped it several times and only just yesterday finally popped the screen out a bit. It went back in fine. Still sounds great. Got a new hard hat after 6 months and it doesn’t fit in the new one. Gonna get some velcro to strap it. Everyone else has big, loud, expensive speakers with lights etc, that assault the ears of passersby. And if they walk away or move around, the music doesn’t go with them. I have mine in my head all the time which is great because I’m constantly moving around, and with my phone in my pocket I can turn it down when talking or turn it up when the environment gets loud without it ever getting loud enough to bother others. Charge: it rarely dies on me at work. As long as it’s fully charged, I can play it for 3 hours at a time, plug it in for a 10 or 30 minute break, and it lasts the 10 hour day. Audio: in my helmet, I tend to keep it between 40% and 80% volume. It’s nice to have that extra 20% for when the beat slaps. The quality is great, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Great little speaker
I purchased this to be able to connect with my phone for activities like housework, exercise withouth having to use ear plugs. I recently had an outdoor party and used it for some background music on the patio. I’m really happy I purchased this. I’m using more than I thought. I don’t know how long the battery life is because it has worked for as long as needed when using. Highly recommend.

Brand New, Didn’t Charge
I replaced my old JBL with this one after the old one stopped holding a charge. I’ve only had this new one for two days, it was on the charger nonstop, and it died on me today after claiming to be low battery. So they just seem to be defective and refuse to charge. Brand new, so disappointing and frustrating. I’ve returned it for a refund and will never buy another JBL speaker again, and I suggest you do the same.

Quieter than other JBL Go 2
I am a dance teacher and ordered this speaker because someone else I know has it and it is loud enough to hear the music over all the dancers. Unfortunately the one I received is significantly quieter than the one the other teacher has, and they are the exact same model. I’m disappointed because I won’t be able to return it since I discarded the original packaging but had no way of knowing how much quieter it would be compared to the other speaker. It’s perfect for casual listening but if you want loud volume it’s more of a gamble with this model.

Great sound quality and surprisingly loud with decent bass for its size. The battery life is good and it has a built-in mic. The only gripe I have is higher pitched voices on videos, calls, audiobooks, etc. can get a little tinny sounding sometimes. Other than that, great speaker for the price.
