Great replacement for my Flip 4
Lost my nearly new JBL Flip 4 in the lake so I needed a replacement. I should have bought this JBL GO 2 in the first place because it does what I want it to do even better than the Flip 4. I just wanted a nice small speaker with good sound that I could take to the pool or out on the picnic table. While the Flip 4 worked great and had some very nice features, it was more than I needed. This GO 2 is just right for me – a convenient size, great sound, and a price that I can enjoy. I am quite satisfied with this little speaker!

Great little speaker!
I got this JBL Go2 in order to have better and louder sound on the go than what my phone’s built in speaker provides. I was very surprised at how well it performs despite it’s very small size. The sound is full and clear, even at maximum volume, where most speakers this size would have poor distorted sound at these higher volumes. Of course this little speaker was lacking in the bass, which is to be expected from a speaker this small. But the sound was very good, full and rich, and with adequate bass and range for a speaker this size. Much better than any other speaker I’ve heard of similar size. The battery lasts for a longer time than I expected as well, we got over 4 hours of play time from a full charge. The specs say up to 5 hours, but 4 hours was surprising because we had it at very high volume the entire time. The only minor complaint I have is that the charger connector is micro USB, would have preferred the now standard USB C. The newer version of this, the Go4 charges via USB C. Overall I would highly recommend this Go2 if you are looking for a very small pocket sized Bluetooth speaker for your phone, tablet, or laptop. Nothing else in this size and price range can touch it!

Great sound and clarity. I’m not techy, but it does not garble, even at highest volume. Drums, bass, acoustic…all sounds great and clear. I use it for all of my outdoor experiences and it has been a great addition. Very portable and I can carry it in my pocket, backpack…etc. Highly recommend it. Battery lasts a while.

Compré el parlante en Estados Unidos lo probé allí mismo, y al tiempo de usarlo aquí en mi país Argentina los botones dejaron de funcionar. This BROKE after a month of gently using

Easy of use, compact size and decent sound
A great little speaker that connects via bluetooth or by Aux cable. I attach to an old Sony Walkman via an Aux cable so I can listen to FM Radio, and use it with an MP3 player via bluetooth. Decent sound quality in a tiny package but don’t expect any rock’n base. A great pool side or beach companion as it is also has a waterproof rating.

So disappointing
After trying this speaker for 4 months, I’ve got to say, I hate it. I thought jbl was great quality and got this as a little backyard grilling/pool time speaker. It will not hold a charge to save my life. On its best day it’ll play music for maybe an hour. Right now I’ve had it on the charger for an extended period of time, turned it on, it died before completing even 1 song. Soooooo disappointing. I really hate this speaker. I’m wondering if maybe the specific one I received is faulty, surely they can’t all be like this?? 🫠

Fully charged, the battery for this speaker lasts about an hour. During that hour, the speaker will randomly turn off every 3 to 5 minutes. The quality is good for the few minutes that it functions, but absolutely not worth purchasing.
