Nice but…
The speaker quality of this JBL speaker is great. I thought it was a bigger speaker than what I actually got. There are two issues I have with this product. One it does not display the battery life level on my iPhone. Unlike EarPods or my VTIN Speaker that displays the battery life I consider that very useful. Secondly, the other issue I have is when I turn this speaker on and push play on whatever product I’m listening to there is sometimes a several second delay before the battery will sync up with my phone. Although not a huge issue is a bit frustrating. Overall, I think there’s good quality speaker and good sound. I would not be hesitant to buy it again. However, if they could fix these two issues I have I would definitely give it a five star review.

I love this bluetooth speaker. It’s small but powerful. Super easy to pair and automatically finds your device the next time you switch it on. Put it in a corner or in front of a wall for a slightly richer sound and you’re good to go! Definitely recommend.

I am obsessed. It’s my first JBL speaker. This fits in my palm but I can have music playing on one side of my house NOT at max volume and can hear it at the other end! Epic! I’ve used it for the shower, outside for bonfires, in the gym, love how portable and easy it is to use! Didn’t even need to read the instructions! I don’t track exact battery life but I use it regularly throughout the week and I don’t need to charge it more than once or twice a month. Insane! I’ve not done any crazy testing, but it’s been able to handle smoke, humidity, water, drops, and more! Oh and the range is REALLY awesome! I can literally go a quarter acre away before it starts to lose connection! Crazy! Definitely worth the price and definitely going to be a repeat product. Plus the mint colour blends nicely with most any decor.

Decent quality music and battery life for such a small speaker. Can fit in a pocket or purse. Very easy to connect and use. Decent sound volume for the size as well. My only complaint is I could not get it super soft for playing in the office.

We’ve owned 2 other JBL GO 2 speakers, one for a number of years, and are very pleased with them. This one, however, rattles with base and haz along of distortion. Generally a good product, but be aware you can get a lemon.

I really wanted to love this, but there wasn’t a way to equalize the sound. I was using in the shower for audio books, and the spoken voice was a bit too “base-y” so hard to understand. There was no way to adjust this. It was just the perfect size for my shower caddy and a great color (mint). If only it had an equalizer!

Bought this for an external speaker for my Car CB radio. When plugged in I get great sound on receiving, without speakers it’s difficult to hear the internal speaker of CB. However my main issue was that as soon as I hold the mic button to transmit I get a high pitched feedback and there’s no explanation as to why. I posted question asking what the ohms were and the manufacturer answer was that it’s not in the product specifications…. WTF, how does the manufacturer not know this simple thing. The CB manual states the external speaker needs minimum 8 ohms impedance and minimum 4.7 Watts. This speaker has 20 Watts but unknown impedance. Since no one seems to have an answer I’ll have to return this and try to find another option. I have a few other Bluetooth only JBL speakers that ask with perfectly for my regular music play. This speaker forehand have a pause or go back button like to others do. So it won’t help for regular music play either.

Overall very good with one small detractor
It’s a nice small speaker with very good battery life however, to get that it has an automatic power down routine based on the input level of the source. If your source volume isn’t loud enough or if the music has long quiet passages, the unit sometimes shuts itself down. To get around this make sure your source output is high. If you use the aux input, the behavior is the same.

This speaker is superior to the much more expensive Bose SoundLink Mini II for streaming voice – I never used it for music – this speaker is 6 times cheaper than the Bose SoundLink Mini II – it easily connects to BluTooth – holds a long charge – volume is easily controlled – it is a great speaker for the money!
