It was a trick getting the holder set in place with my phone in the position I wanted it. That did work for many months, then the base broke from my six-year-old passenger trying to climb over it. It was not very durable, so I won’t buy another one.
The base does not rotate, so its hard to index in between the rubber flapped cup holders. Biggest drawback is the vibration. Hard to glance at and read . I like the size just, not the vibration moments in the arm. Price point is good

Works great! I always keep my phone in a wallet case for protection in case of dropping. I wasn’t sure if this simple cup holder stand would work but yes it does. My wallet case is older and the leather is soft and not stiff. Might not work with a brand new wallet case but is fine with mine. I’m glad because my rental car doesn’t have GPS and holding my phone in my hand or on my lap was too precarious while driving in a new city.

If you own a Mini Cooper or Countryman without car okay, this is your solution. I looked for weeks in different mounting solutions and was told repeatedly to shell out big money for bespoke mounts or a new head unit but this cup phone holder does the job. I tightened up every screw once inserted and on bumpy roads it slightly jiggles but not much. Way cheaper and effective solution.

The base adjusts snugly to my wide cup holder. The long arm does not rotate; you must rotate the base to rotate the long arm. The phone shakes slightly, but it is not a problem for me. I wish the extension could be higher. I am happy with this phone holder. With careful placement and rotation, this product does not interfere with my gear stick or second cup holder.

Adjustable stand and neck but loose holder
The media could not be loaded. Honest review; not paid: The base and neck of this phone holder is great and fits snug into the cupholder of my car. However, the actual phone holder is too loose. It turns over or onto its side when I turn. It is also a little difficult to take the phone out of the holder, but is very easy to plug in the charger. Unfortunately, I didn’t use it right away and missed my return window. If the seller sends a replacement, I could see if it was just a defect with this one and update my review on how well the replacement works.

I’ve had several different cell phone holders that go in my cup holder. This one is the most versatile and sturdy of all of them. It adjusts easily and my phone is easy to get in and out quickly. I do have a rubber sleeve that I use with it (that came with my car for other cup holders) that helps to control vibration, although I haven’t tried it without that so I’m not sure if there would be vibration without this rubber sleeve. Of all the different cell phone holders I’ve had, this one works the best. And the height is perfect, it doesn’t block my view that some phone holders on the dash do but it’s high enough that I don’t need to look too far down to see my phone when navigation is being used which makes it safe to use.

Broke while tightening
The base is fixed into a cupholder by twisting a collar at the top of the base, where the arm swivels. Unfortunately, my force was too much for it, and it snapped while I thought I was still tightening the base into the cupholder. Be wary of overtightening and you should be just fine. The design makes it so that even if you snap the arm off the base, it can rest in its original position and not tip over while driving, so I still use it.
