I thought the mechanism to hold the phone was motorized/automatic, but it utilizes gravity to keep your phone in. This of course means if you hit a hard enough bump it will send you phone flying. Also the charging stopped working about 1.5 months in, too late to return.

I like the idea of it, but I believe this device is best used with smaller width phones. My Galaxy S22U was struggling with the sleamness of just putting the phone on it without it’s legs getting caught by the edges while it’s trying to shoot up. I found myself more getting the phone to sit then for me to just set it and go. A suggestion would be to have the legs that shoot up have a wider arc to accommodate larger phones like the Galaxy S series.

Its cheap made and unstable. Phone constantly lost charging connection with every bump in the road.
1st thing when I got it I noticed it was resealed. Yay, someone elses return. Opened the box, item looks ok. Can tell the USB cable was previously used because of the twist tie on it being redone and not twisted the same. The air vent clip was not the metal one in the pictures. It was a crappy plastic one that didnt hold well. There was an extra part in the box that doesnt go with it. Looked to be some kinda stand, but it doesnt attache to this charger at all. Charger was very unstable and shaky while driving. I have a Note 9. When sitting still in the charger it would charge. While driving, every bump in the road would shake the charger enough to where the phone would stop charging. Its just not well built. Dont recommend. I left a note with the box when I returned it. Hopefully someone doesnt put this back in circulation. Especially with the weird extra part.

So the problem is with the type of plastic used, there’s too much friction it gets damaged by rubbing. The face is unsightly now and the mechanism is degrading and sounds horrendous now.

I like the fact that it’s easy to slide your phone in and the arms come up and grab your phone. Fast charge is a good thing. This is a great, phone holder charger.

I bought two of these chargers to use when I travel. Fairly priced, metal hook worked very well and the smaller size overall worked well for travel. Home run.👍🏾 My rental car was stolen so I lost one of them. I ordered another and got the one on the right in the photo. Extremely difficult to use. Does not work well with many late model cars rental companies use. The bracket with this one is good. One star. Doesn’t work well in my truck at home either. Definitely a bad design. simple is always better with devices like this. Bad engineer! Bad engineer! Bad!

I had a tricky time finding a phone holder and wireless charger for my pixel 7 that wouldn’t press on the volume and/or power buttons on the side. This one is perfect. So easy to use and charges well. Doesn’t come with the cord or adapter needed for charging so you’ll have to buy that separately. Easy to install, easy to remove, easy to take your phone on and off of. Would recommend.

On my 6 hour drive, I put my iPhone on this charger with 76% battery… when I arrived at my destination the charge went up to 84%. I don’t usually leave reviews on Amazon, especially negative ones. But, I had no choice this time…

I didn’t use vent clip, because I did install permanent custom fit for my camry ball witch can accommodate any charger. In a year two automatic chargers felt to operate properly, so I found this one- it’s perfect and fail puff!

Where have you been all my life?
The media could not be loaded. I have struggled with phone mounts in my Jeep over the years. Nothing had worked reliably until finding this mount. It has the standard ball mount so you can throw away the car vent clip end if it doesn’t work for you and keep the part that work flawless. Jeeps are particularly hard to find a air vent mount. Once I found a good ball mount from Offroam, finding the actual mount proved to be equally difficult. I wanted one that would also wirelessly charge. 15W was a must to keep the phone charging while using maps. I’ve tried the motorized open and close, magnetic and others but they all fail in some way or another. The motorized seemed to never work on first button press or they activate on a bumpy trail and my phone would fly out. Magnetics were good but the phone still inched it’s way down the pad until it too would fall off or best case sit lopsided. I am amazed how simple yet functional the Baseus15W Fast Charging Phone Mount is. It’s so simple to put your phone in and take it out and if you need to hook up a cable for Android Auto or Carplay, the design does not obstruct. No more fiddling with weak or ineffective holder. And the standard ball mount makes this a solid win!
