Needs better adhesive tape
I cleaned the back of my phone case with alcohol pads and applied the magnetic ring. The adhesive tape supplied is garbage. It pulls right off the phone when you pull the phone from the holder. I’ll upgrade the tape with a 3M tape and see how that works.

Must-have if your phone has the magnetic ring. Makes placing and removing phone a one-hand move, and looks cleaner than the standard “grab” holder. If you’re going to swing for the main mount and have the magnet, grab this too.

High quality materials, STRONG magnet. 99% perfect. The only issue I have is sometimes the magnet is tough to line up. Probably just me putting it on all jacked up though. When my phone mounts, it is not slipping off unless you want it to come off. I have a pretty heavy iPhone 12 Pro Max and it’s never moved, even when bouncing around in my truck.

Built like a tank
As you can see from the picture, I have purchased the RubiGrid for my 2018 Chevy Colorado Z71. If you are looking at reviews for mounting systems for your ride, I am pleased to share with you these American made components that I feel would work in combat situations. This thing is that tough. Each component I have purchased has been very carefully crafted and very well packaged. Even free bottle opener and tools. Notice the higher price? I can promise you will not be spending any more money again for another mounting system, well maybe for another vehicle or UTV, tractor, etc. I would purchase this again and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something permanent

Magnet is Weak
I love Bullet Point products, but for whatever reason the magnetic feature on this mount is way too weak to be able to hold my phone while I’m rock crawling. They make so many great products, however this is not one of them! I’ll be replacing this with a $12 mount from Amazon that has significantly better magnetic properties. It’s just sad to see such great brand have such a crappy product.

I bought the MagSafe Holder only with 20mm ball. I bought a pixel 7 pro magsafe case and holy smokes this magsafe holder grabs it with such force it will not fall off even if you shake it violently. THE BEST holder ever for your car which works with magsafe cases for phones which allow you to mount your phone and use wireless chargers. This is perfect for iphones or androids. Great mount with strong magnets
This is a great mount, worked with my 67 Designs arm and has a strong magnetic hold. Also, the magnet has a soft exterior, so it grips the phone without marking the back of the phone. I really wish it didn’t have the cheesy company logo etched within the face. I colored it in with a sharpie, but will have to paint it eventually.
